There's an ambulance in the Futurama episode where Leela is a baseball player, based this one on the blurry screenshot I got of it, so if something is off, leave me alone! Reference: http://i41.tinypic.com/30uzlsi.jpg Tried 6-wide this time, I hope its more or less in-scale with minifigs. Everything looks too small when you build 8-wide for so long. And a quick and dirty mock up of a Leela minifig, pretty scary!

Damn, all those sweet cars are aaaaalmost enough to get me into 4-wides The chrome pieces add a some vintage appeal. I miss chrome bumpers, you could ram things and not take any damage, now everything is designed to crumple up, blegh. What's the point in having a bumper if you can't bump anything!? (And I guess now we know what two vehicles you'll be modernizing next )

Love the shape, looks like a great way to use up all those extra pieces floating around in our tubs

Well, they're called the Black Hole Gang now but it's always implied that they have ties to Blacktron I should start calling them Black Hole Gang from now on, I'm only perpetuating the confusion (I wouldn't mind if you change the title to "Black Hole Gang Pick-Up Truck")
-
I don't know what you mean about it not being Blackton-enough, it has the same color scheme and similar shape as the original model http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=5972-1 It's like saying LEGO didn't make it Blacktron enough haha. Unless you mean BT1... I guess everyone likes old Blacktron better than the new one lol

Well, it's mostly pieces from the STG set anyway Still need to fill in a few holes and get black offset plates but it looks alright for an alt build. The nose is 8 wide but the cab is 7-wide. Just wanted to make a "normal" Blacktron Black Hole Gang truck, they use this one to transport smaller cargo that doesn't require the big truck. A picture of my containers so far: And a picture of my pride and joy just because lol (My old SP3 prototype build, I converted the 6-wide cab to 7-wide with a few jumper plates and finally finished/redesigned the container)

Looks like one of those giant underwater flowers from Super Mario Bros. 3 Add some flick-fire missiles to it!

NASA Deep Space Habitat Model and Rover

Haha, Logistics/Hygiene sounds like one of those crazy 2-in-1 shops like "Donuts and Haircuts" -
Only thing I'd like to see is more of the modern figs in the banner, though I'm okay with almost anything as long as it doesn't look like star wars. You could have alternating banners that could load every time the page is visited, one could be all villains, one could be focused on spaceships, one could show only Ice Planet, etc.

Another alt with a nifty shape. The big panels with POLICE can lay flush with the white wedge-bricks, just need something to hold it there so they don't slightly droop.
-
Liking it, has a birdish shape to it. (Just made something with this same shape, get out of my head! )

Here's a fun time killer, how many alternate builds can you make with this set? Go ahead and post your own alt builds! Here's some kind of delta wing fighter using only the VX Falcon's pieces, built for speed with some bite. Two side cannons are enough to put most perps in their place, but the real "peacekeeper" is the big swiveling blaster mounted under the nose. A few weird connections on this one but all are legal. And yeah, I know the windscreen is supposed to be trans blue not trans black, I'm using it for something else :) (I know, the pics suck, I don't have a decent lighting set up anymore )

Ugh, I just noticed LDD does have skull faces haha Thanks!

[WIP] Vactor 2100 Series Waste Vacuum Truck

That'd be fantastic! All I really need is a picture of the area right behind the cab since I can't find a tight shot of that. A shot of where the hose/boom swings left to right would be great too so I can get the shape right. Do you work on any other cool trucks I could build? -

Alrighty, I'm done tweaking it, can't really work on the boom unless I have it in real bricks because of the hoses involved. What do you folks think, pretty cool, eh? -
A quickie to give people ideas :) If the Minotaur is so dangerous, why do people keep going into its lair? Because the walls are riddled with gold!

Heh, all that grass would make it work for a Pokemon MOC too Pretty scene! Only thing I would change is make the baseplate thicker so the river/stream looks deeper (or maybe just raise the grass in a few areas to give it variety)

[WIP] Vactor 2100 Series Waste Vacuum Truck
Henchmen4Hire replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the suggestion Cpt., took me a second to figure out how to attach them to each other 180 degrees New pic added up there. Those are hairdryers on the pipes :) I've since found out that I'm going to have to make the large hose boom swivel 180 degrees left-to-right and also be telescopic -Updated with new pictures -

Yus, filled in a few gaps, made room to build an engine under the hood too. Addded a pic of what the tank looks like so far. I don't know how else to make a round 6x6 structure other than using those 6x6 dishes :[ Maybe with hinges but I don't want to resort to that in LDD haha -
Damn, great details on that, definitely would like to see it bigger

Cool car and cool face on that minifig, so many faces I haven't seen yet!

[WIP] Vactor 2100 Series Waste Vacuum Truck

Haha! Gully Sucker is a much better name than Poop Sucker Updated the first image, I think I got the proportions right... I'm thinking of making this 9-wide just to torture myself -
...WIP Believe it or not this is still minifig scale, the figs just look a little small because they have weird proportions. Sometimes I see these big beefy trucks rumbling around Los Angeles, they were so mysterious and frightening until I found out they're used to suck poop out of the storm drains. They have different combinations of equipment and models (year), all of which I don't know anything about, so I'm just picking and choosing features to implement and see what fits. -Extended the rear wheels a bit -Have to find a way to not make the silver tanks tilt when the main tank tilts -Need to finish rear area under the tank (brakelights, license plate, etc) -1X4 Trans Orange tile should clip into the empty clip here Hopefully I find a detailed image of the area behind the cab...
