  1. Nice work. The nose is a little long but not that far out relative to the steiger tiger line of tractors. I would say one wheel diameter would be in scale. Is there room to add a three point linkage with raise and lower, alongside the PTO? Cheers Surly
  2. If you get this almost lego part https://www.hitechnic.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=NIL1046 you can run 4 servos from the EV3 and a further 8 PF servos. Add this to the above solutions to get to 18. Cheers Surly
  3. Hi Effe, Larger bins are 4.4m x 1.6m x 1.6m. How does this fit with your wheelbase and scale? cheers, Surly
  4. Heavy Marchinery? Cheers, Surly
  5. Is there an option for wifi control that is smoother than bluetooth and android combo? I don't want to fork out for a particular dongle if it is a laggy as bluetooth. Also a program with progressive power control would be great. I am a bit disappointed my older version of PS2 controller isn't EV3 compatible. Cheers, Surly
  6. A rubber band in the base of it would assist gravity and still be lego legal? Cheers Surly
  7. This picture was posted by Nicjasno and shows the part I am talking about as the second gear on the left: Cheers, Surly
  8. No I meant the floating gears that accept the dog gears. Like the parted off differential gears to make a more realistic gearbox. Cheers Surly
  9. What about the gearbox pieces people are always talking about? Various floating gears? cheers Surly
  10. If the Interceptor from Mad Max 2 had survived into Beyond Thunderdome it would look just like your car. This the car it was based on. Ford XA Falcon coupe from Australia. cheers Surly
  11. Kierna, The servo has better resolution than that with 7 left and 7 right positions and 90 degrees in either direction. cheers Surly
  12. I love it Sariel. As a hot rod owner I love the lines of thirties cars and you have captured so many of the details brilliantly. Is it possible to make the compound curves of the fenders on these cars out of lego at all? If instructions are available, I look forward to seeing what hot rods can be made from your base. Thanks Surly
  13. CTP it is possible to do as you are requesting using a third party but lego certified product from Hitechnic NXT IR receiver Another company supplies a sensor that allowa you to control your NXT with a playstation controller. There are lots of options. cheers Surly
  14. You didn't hijack Sariel's hamster for this project? cheers Surly
  15. Another great MOC! What are your thoughts on 1:13 versus 1:17 scale trucks Bricksonwheels? I notice a lot of your trucks are the Peterbilt 379. Is this a personal favourite or do the lines just work well? cheers Surly
  16. DLuders I had read it previously but it was definitely worth a revisit. The more I look the more amazing trucks I find in this scale. Thanks for all the other replies...keep them coming. cheers Surly
  17. I have seen some unbelievably good trucks in 62.4 x 20S scale or about 1:17 by the likes of Sariel, 2legoornot2lego, Bricksonwheels to name just 3. It would be great if they and any of the many others could share their tips on trucks in this scale be it studded, studless or a mix. cheers Surly
  18. Power = RPM x Torque (aka fastosity) cheers Surly
  19. Looks great and nicely detailed. Big Twin Harley's have the chain on the other side and the disk with the exhausts. I love the other bike too but it is a Road King not a Street Glide...I own a Road King
  20. Sariel, How close could you get to the quality of this model in pure studless? cheers Surly
  21. You nailed it Sariel. As an Aussie I can tell you all this is missing is a layer of red dust. For 11 out of 10 post a video of you reversing the second or third trailer around a corner cheers Surly
  22. Absolutely Brilliant! I realise English probably isn't your first language but please say this is your latest not your last MOC Sheepo. Seeing no more of your creations would be terrible. cheers Surly
  23. This is a fantastic idea Sheepo. By multilink do you mean parallel four bar, triangulated four bar and three bar rear ends? I have been trying to draw a parallel four bar with panhard rod in LDD to match your specs. cheers Surly
  24. Very nice MOC Nico. Are these the only motorcycle wheels/tyres made? Almost all modern sports bikes use 110-120mm wide front tyres and 180-200mm wide rear tyres of similar diameter and it does not appear to be an option to recreate this to scale? cheers Surly Whoops found some!
