  1. One sold on eBay for $13 yesterday. The seller was in the US and they claimed it was part of a forthcoming McDonalds promotion. LEGO has already told me that there is no planned LSWX tie-in with McDonalds next year and they are unaware that any of the other LEGO offices have a similar promotion planned.
  2. Maybe they've got the remainder ear-marked for SDCC?!?! ;) "Something stinks in the state of Denmark"
  3. I've posted amore information in the Rebelscum forums: http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?...&PHPSESSID= (scroll down until you see the photo Ras provided - the new info is directly below the image)
  4. and Sweden. What is LEGO MR?
  5. When you start a post by quoting someone's post, and then finish it by thanking them it implies that everything in between is directed at the person who made the original post you quoted. You didn't make it clear at all that you were asking the general readership, and it seemed that your questions about the 10,000 for the US and European availability were aimed at me. If that was not your intention then I'm sorry for misunderstanding you. I didn't mean to start any kind of flame war. Anyway, this is going round in circles so let's just leave it because it's going to get David vs Goliath if we carry on.
  6. Uh, yes it was. The answers to your questions were all there to begin with. There's no rumour - this came directly from LEGO marketing. I don't suppose you know where I should look for the repacked gold C-3PO that TRU AU distributed on a cardback instead of the polybag? I've only heard of one person getting one, and none appeared on eBay to my knowledge.
  7. Ras, I wasn't quoting you, nor was I replying to you. I was commenting that this promo was going to be far more available than originally thought and people should stop whinging about it before they even knew the facts. As for why it was Sweden first, I guess it is because they arrived there before anywhere else and your toy shop put them out on the shelves early. Give it a few days and these will be appearing in Germany before long. Then the rest of the world will start reporting them.
  8. Not too many posts ago everyone was sure that there were only 1,000 and they were all in Sweden. Now another 10,000 more and two extra countries have been added to the list. And you're complaining? If this compares to losing a family pet I think you're values are a bit skewed. I'd be a lot more upset to find out my 12 year old cat had died then if someone told me I couldn't have a piece of plastic.
  9. It's all in my post: Ten thousand in the USA & Canada. And that I'll post more infor about the rest of the world when I get it. I didn't think I was being unclear
  10. Check out my post in the Rebelscum forums for information on US and Canadian availability. LucasArts has nothing to do with the licensing of the Star Wars brand. It is all done through Lucas Licensing, which is a division of Lucasfilm. And the clear lines that used to exist between the Hasbro and LEGO license have been relaxed so that LEGO would be permitted to release figure sets should they decide to, but they chose not to.
  11. Nice collection - you've almost caught up with me! I have the Jango and R2. Just kidding ;) You can never have enough LEGO, can you?
  12. OWK - WOW! If your's didn't win the standard must be impressive because I think your RGS is awesome. Jeremy
  13. Well said. Nice work Bossk. I look forward to the video. Jeremy
  14. Uh... no, the uberfig wasn't dropped in the sea with the hope it would wash up. It was planted there. Jeremy
  15. Read my thread at Rebelscum for the answer: http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?...fpart=1#3470666 Jeremy
  16. It means that this draw for twelve (of 32) Cody's are for UK residents. The wider comp will be held in other countries and will only be available to enter for residents.
  17. Well done dude.
  18. It's a test piece that was stolen. There's another thread knocking about somewhere in which I posted an answer that LEGO supplied me with. Only I can't find the old thread. Can anyone help? It would be useful to have this raffle linked to the previous discussion on Vader's shiney red helmet. (And that folks is how got the X-rated Snide Note for my title).
  19. Have you tried eBay? There are usually some up there. I've been buying a lot over the last few years and 100% of them I got on eBay. If it helps I do have a few of the Mania and Magazines with Star Wars covers. PM me and let know which ones you want.
  20. Very funny. Thanks for posting the link. Jeremy
  21. Great. Good job that I like my new title. Kudos to whoever tagged me. Jeremy
  22. So sorry. Stupid wirless kybrd Then who did? Because I don't even know how to get rid of it. Jeremy
  23. Plus trans plastic shows up flaws (bubbles mostly) while opaque plastic is a lot more forgiving, so LEGO would have to tighten up their QA and the amount of cast offs would increase. Which means extra expense. Jeremy
  24. Yeah, it is a nice title... Hinckley!
  25. You go ahead and do that ;D I'd really like a trans-black vader helmet so that I can stick a skeleton head on a vader body and then create the scene where Vader gets electrocuted by Palpatine at the end of Jedi. That's what I worry about. Now that these have shot up in price it won't be long before the bootleggers move in. If they haven't already.
