  1. Feel free to send the hairpieces to me; I could use them for some Minifig MOCs :-) I can trade it for some dark brown ones; I have two for trading :-)PM me if you're interested
  2. It has quite a bit from an AT-SE Nice model though! Would it survive gravity?
  3. I'm a big fan of the 7259, especially due to the better portioned side engines. Take those away and there's not a lot of difference between the two... The 7259 is the one I used for my variations of this vehicle. So my preference is clear
  4. I seriously hope LEGO will replace one of the shadow guards with a shadow scout trooper; that fig has been re-re-released by Kenner/Hasbro, and there isn't even one by LEGO Q: why don't you make it yourself? A: HJR + paint = drama
  5. Nice interview; never knew he was only around for a couple of years Just a piece of advise: in the interview you state he's Austrian, but on the main page, on top, you say he's German
  6. zilch. they'll definitely be 'Rebels' stormies.
  7. And here's part three:
  8. My guesses are that in one of the 'Rebels' arcs they find the (remains of) Anakin's Starfighter... Would be interesting to find out what it will be :-)
  9. It's Q&A time There are some arealight customs I used, but another big supplier is Fineclonier who makes custom decals. I used to buy a lot there for various project, but ever since he quit sending doubles of each design, and I'm not a star in applying decals, I stopped buying these things. Couldn't bare it anymore to spend $2,50 on a decal at 1/4 stamp size and then completely £%@# up the application... Ever since Fineclonier no longer sends backup-decals I've gone for alternatives such as the beloved kitbashing. Some of the arms come from little armory although that has also become less ever since LEGO switched from loudhailers to proper guns :-) Yes, that head is a great one isn't it? It's jackpot for all Wuher fans out there The minifig head is this one from the Lone Ranger license. Errr... I made all of these myself? The Garindan consists solely of LEGO parts; I'll make a picture this weekend to show how it's done
  10. Thanks for the feedback people! Here's batch II:
  11. Of the 250+ minifigs, roughly 5 are non-Star Wars :-) Besides, :-)
  12. Since 2004 I've been making custom minifigs, and have recently (re)made pictures of them. I have 250+ unique characters, so allow me to place them here in batches in the next couple of months Great help in making these minifigs are two source: - The book "Star Wars: The Ultimate Action Figure Collection" by Steve Sansweet - The website jedibusiness.com which also contains prototypes, and also shows the accessories that come with the figures. So here's the first batch: Such as easy custom; still don't understand why everyone yells for an 'official' minifig... not my own design, but lovely! Notice the tear in her right eye? Long live Arealight customs! Robby! The first robot with a conscience in US cinema :-) Don't worry, I also made his army ;-) Yup, it's Han's clothes, just as in the movie! Great decals from Kaminoan; 8 years old and still no colour loss More to come, watch this space :-)
  13. the only Custom Jedi starfighter made by Anakin I know of is this one: The Azure Angel by HJR-Holland, on Flickr
  14. You're welcome I also have got a copy of the entire site on my harddrive
  15. Luckily there's someone from Japan named "maestro s.fujita" who started building LEGO Star Wars sets back in 1992 (so well before the start of the licence) and is able to give you a great idea of what the sets would have looked like back at the start of the nineties (OK, that's later than 1981, but still...) This is really a must-read for everyone here :-)
  16. Well... I made them! Been quite a few years since I made them but I'm gradually reshooting them for my Flickr account. To date I've made all vehicles except for the ISP-6 (Vader's little landing vehicle) :-)
  17. the vehicle has never been in the movies; none of the minirigs have: Although a few of them made it into the "Droids" cartoons
  18. I reckon the older Star Wars fans would recognize this vehicle: The AST-5 Armored Sentinel Transport! Click the photo to see more images :-)It's based on one of the KENNER Minirigs from the eighties: Kudos once more to ministickers.nl for recreating the original stickers for me :-) Calculated back to the price-per-part, this is probably the most expensive vehicle I've ever built!
  19. Too many details take the cuteness-factor away from the figs, which I don't like really...
  20. indeed. You and everyone else it seems! Albeit making up less than 5% of the parts in the sets; it's worth (Bricklink) is actually 25-30%...
  21. Not only nice MOCs, but also great source images!
  22. Well, remour has it that Bail will play a role in 'Rebels', so a minifig variant might come up in the coming year(s)
  23. Very nice, very clean look. Thanks also for sharing the parts list & instructions; always appreciated :-)
  24. Rancor Pit - I think this would be its last yearSail Barge - Should be here one more year
