And you heard this from? (Lego employee?) who based this on what? I can see this happening, LOTR is a theme that is not as popular among the typical Star Wars or Super Heroes fans. But we need facts and reliable sources....

I received 20 of these today, to fill the empty spaces on back of my Hobbiton

Thats a cool little scene I like the orcs

Wow, awesome build!

Thanks It is built in modules, the high road and Bag End are built on 16x16 plates and then lifted on a stacks of 10 2x2 bricks. I like you mentioned Tintin, I actually made a Marlinspike Hall in LDD: But this will not make it to a real life creation anytime soon, money does not grow on trees

Thanks! Besides a train station this is one of my first real Moc's. It's not supposed to be just like in the movies but simply a place where the Minifigs find their home I am now looking into making some things move, just to make it more fun to look at

Wow, great job! I like how you kept the play features in your creation. -
Wow, that looks great! I like all the details on the inside

Great work! Those bright green pieces that stand alone look a bit out of place. I would only use them in a combination with green and dark green. I like that root that comes out of the ground there.

I skipped a few sets and simply bought their figs on BL. But this one I am planning to buy. I can always use more brown pieces for landscaping and trees Great review!

Looks great! I am hoping for some more Rohan figs in future sets.

It does look great! I would like to see some Ringwraiths fighting the Hobbits and Aragorn!

Wow that looks great! I might try to build one, I've got loads of brown pieces from the Hobbit sets.

Don't know, i'might give it a try. That will take some mayor modifications of what I have now.

Haha, no problem!

Thanks! I almost forgot. I made a bridge already :)

Hello everybody! I'm not a very active member but I would like to share my current Lego project with you. It is a slowly growing layout of Hobbiton. It all started with Bag End. I was very satisfied with this so I tried to keep it going and have started to turn this one Hobbithole into a layout. So now it look like this \ It is not my goal to recreate the entire film set but it does look like it. I am now in the process of deciding where to go with these two roads. Probably they will meet somewhere on the left and then continue as one road that crosses the Bywater Bridge. This bridge has the Sandyman's Mill on one side and The Green Dragon on the other. So I will have to build them as well. Hope you like it and let me know what you think! ps, there are no interiors Check out more on my brickshelf.

I really think the Metroliner is No 1. The Emerald Night No 2. And the 4564 (with the beautiful yellow Loc) No 3.
