Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Brickdoctor replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've moved your post over to the discussion on availability. -
They're placeholders, in all likelihood indicating an update to the Snowtrooper mold. (And it could use an update; the current mold still has the backpack attacked to the helmet while other formerly one-piece molds like the Fett helmet-jetpack piece were updated a couple years ago.)

If you think you see another member breaking a rule, please use the 'Report' button instead of calling them out or correcting them in public. In this case, while perhaps there might've been a better choice of topic in which to post, ZeldaTheSwordsman did have something to add to the conversation. EB doesn't have any rule against 'bumping' in itself. See here for more guidelines regarding posting in older topics, especially the ones that pertain to reviews.

You can claim that that wasn't your intent if you want to, but you did in fact start the off-topic discussion of clones: And then when LegoFjotten replied at least partially in jest and not directly to you, you responded with a counterargument. So, yes, you are debating the off-topic clone minifig discussion that you started. (And you're also now debating the application of the rules of the forum with a moderator in a public thread.) As I said, what you want to see — what you think should be an important element of the summer wave — does not belong here. The "minifig thing" was not "a touch off topic", it was completely off topic.
-
Doesn't matter. The discussion of minifigs you want doesn't belong here, no matter what your viewpoint is, and as I've told members including you before, the OT vs. PT vs. CW debate doesn't belong here either.
-
Let's not start speculating about sets you think we'll see or listing what you want to see. Remember, that doesn't belong here.

I know that its last release was in '09, but considering the most recent AT-ST design and the most recent T-47 design, I'd say the latter is in much more need of a redesign. Agreed.

They'd better update that old, overused, inaccurate T-47 design this time...

I must apologize for the delay in freebuild scoring. I've just sent out a big PM regarding all the builds that need judging, and hopefully we'll have things all updated in a day or two.

If there is in fact a UCS/Exclusive Sandcrawler, shops like this probably wouldn't have any info on it, so the fact that it isn't in the list doesn't really change what we know about it. (Other than the fact that the content of the list might lend a tiny bit more credibility to the claim that we're getting a Tatooine-based UCS/Exclusive set.)
-
The list seems plausible to me. Couple Rebels sets, plenty of OT sets leading up to the Episode VII release. Do we have any knowledge of a "Jedi Hunter" in Rebels? It seems vaguely familiar to me as a CW/PT-era concept, but obviously it could also definitely fit into Rebels.

Nice.
