Actually, I started building sets for Flipz's quest in late September 2012.

Ignoring color, the Ghost doesn't look that bad. It might be a bit on the short side (I'd say 'squat', but that doesn't seem to read right to me when referring to length instead of height.), but the shaping reminds me of the two Old Republic ships we got, which I thought was done really well for a System set.

Agreed. And those missiles coming out from underneath the T-47 look like something off of a Hasbro action figure vehicle.

At the risk of pushing this conversation further along a tangent that's right on the line between on-topic and off-topic, didn't we get a Bespin guard with a brown head and classic smiley print? So it's not unheard of to get a background character in a color other than flesh/yellow.

No, that would be a System-scale model, not minifig scale. An Imperial-II is 1600 meters long. Minifig scale is about 1:44 (minifigs generally held to be around the 6ft/1.8m mark. A minifig-scale ISD is closer to the four to five thousand stud, thirty to forty meter range.

The movable gantry is actually kind of standard for X-wing hangars. I think it originated in Empire. (Even TLG's latest Echo Base set has one.)

Ah, okay. Sorry, I thought you were one of those MOC thieves. Very nice work on the hangar; it looks like it'll be the perfect way to showcase all those beautiful starfighters you've built. I especially like the patterns in the floor and the transition from the natural rockwork to the smooth hangar walls.

I remember reading one of those kids novels by Ryder Windham in which Obi-Wan meets up with Anakin after the latter dies (because apparently there's some sort of 'Force limbo' state that they're in before becoming completely 'one with the Force'...this was a lot simpler before the PT came along with its attempt to explain more of the Force), and while Anakin's trying to apologize, Obi-Wan interrupts him, gives him some sort of Force Ghost Cliff Notes, and then they go and appear before Luke.

Possible sarcasm aside, obviously it doesn't work in LDD, but with physical bricks it's generally considered to be okay.
