My Edit button looks fine to me. Anyways, Build 122.3 is live! - New Realm Quest: Kage Kami - New Dungeon: Manor of the Immortals - New untiered items: potion, dagger, wand, robe, trap, tome - Sword range increased, Stone Sword damage increased - Condition effects now have individual unique icons - Improved wall drawing a little - Dungeon exits spawn in a fixed location instead of where boss died - Thessal drops an air pocket where she died - Added new Oryx taunts for a couple encounters - New untiered items: potion, dagger, wand, robe, trap, tome - Two-step password reset - "[H] for help" message replaced - White Demons nerfed a bit to make them melee-able - Sphinx now has a setting - Coral Venom Trap now does Paralyze instead of Slow Also, I've got a bunch of Para rings that I want to get rid of, so if anyone wants some, I'll sell them at a rate of two for 1 Spd for all Para Spd, Dex, Vit, MP, and Wis rings.

Hinck's playing around with the profanity fiIter again. Just because it's ApriI 1st. Don't worry about it; we know what you meant. -
March 31st, 2012 - Stupidity killed the Doc! Realm of the Mad God: 12 (Deaths: Brickdoctr: 2+5 Suicides, TLSisco: 2, PoisonKate: 1, Hornblower: 1, Emorith: 1 Suicide) Eurobricks Guild: 2 (Oryx Survivors: Brickdoctr: 1, TLSisco: 1) Doc died twice, both times in the Snake Pit, the first time because a combination of lag and carelessness led to a split-second delay in hitting the spacebar and sucking HP out of some vipers. The second time because he was stupid enough to try to solo said Snake Pit at Level 10. Everybody else's deaths were pretty normal. TLSisco, PoisonKate, Hornblower, and Emorith all ended at -1, but the daily overall winner would be Emorith, because his one death was a suicide. We all love suiciding. Maybe not as much as Doc, because he's MegaBlokin' obsessed with getting a roll with +2746297329203748 HP. Emorith's suicide sets him up to pass Calanon and Harkshire in Guild Fame, while Sisco lengthened his lead over CMP. Doc gained the most Guild Fame, thanks to his rerolling, at +348. Juicy Gossip of the Day: An unnamed source told the author that Emorith set up his first mule today, which is supposedly named 'Finnegan'...

Lego Acquires LDraw Parts Library

Can we please wait until April 2nd in all timezones to post exciting news? I remember reading that LDD parts are modeled with a different origin than LDraw parts, so they shouldn't even be easily convertible. -
Huh? What's wrong with saying April Fools Day? And don't give me the profanity filter MegaBloks, because I'm only an Arch Duke. "Mimecraft"? Oh, I know what that is! April Fools Day! April Fools Day! April Fools Day!

New to Lego...Let me throw this out there.
Brickdoctor replied to bricklayer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's not at all crazy. There are some really nice looking sets out there that make great display models. A modular building will look great on a shelf. Personally, I don't think you'd get the full play value out of it, but it'll be worth the money just as a nice display piece. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

QM Note: Sorry, I had the party typed out last night and forgot to make the changes. Alexandre has control of the Polybolos and Slice N Dice, while Isabella is on top of the South-West Tower with the Crossbow. -
Noticing that all shots are doing full power, I close the majority of the gap between myself and Skrall, attempting to pin his arm with my shield and firing at point-black range. I attack Skrall from the Front Row with my Briar Bow.

MegaBlokin' lag! Got killed by a Greater Pit Viper, of all things. Turned a profit of 4.5 Def, but still... I was going to grab that easy Spd pot, help kill a Pentaract, close the realm, survive Oryx, and hopefully finish with a score of +1. Instead I died to a basic dungeon minion. First roll was -2 at Level 20. Suicided. Second roll was -18 at Level 10. Suicided. Third roll was -3 at Level 10. Suicided. Fourth roll was -9 at Level 10. Suicided. Fifth roll was -5 at Level 10. Suicided. Sixth roll was -6 at Level 12, but I saw a Snake Pit and decided to go in before I suicided. Stheno killed me after I got Slowed and Blinded. Seventh roll is a +9, which is acceptable, though not exceptional. It did survive O1 at Level 10 and netted me an Att and a Sup HP, so I think I'll keep him around for some basic farming. Not sure if I want to throw the good stuff on him.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Night begins to fall and, almost as if on cue, as the sun dips below the horizon, you see three elves emerge from the forest. You notice that the elf on the left has a tattered cloak and the worn equipment of a warrior who has seen much action. You see the elf on the right is old and wizened, more so than any elf should be, and you notice from his staff that he is a practitioner of the darker magics. You look at the elf in the center, who you see wears armor that has been polished to a shine, but you're gazing at his face, which bears an expression that no hero, especially you, Xander, will ever forget. You see the elves pause for a moment, then you see them dash off into the dark. You hear a splash as one of them dives into the river. "Heroes of Heroica and knights of the Lion, prepare to do battle." "Sirs, we're seeing multiple onager teams setting up to the east, west, and south. It's been getting more popular ever since it got published on Steam. (on the forum, the better players even have the term "Steam noobs" just to refer to the seemingly infinite amount of new players coming in each day from Steam)
-
Hopefully, the rest of the day will be better. Does anyone else feel like EUNorth2 might be getting a little too busy? I've noticed there are now regularly four realms open, instead of the two that would be there when Skipper and I first switched over. I've also noticed that there are enough newbs and n00bs on the server, now, for me to be constantly followed whenever I try to use my EP to farm for HP/MP pots, which really takes away all the fun of running through the lowlands blowing things up, because I have to constantly respond to all the players following me around posting in all-caps asking how the MegaBloks I have the staff. I've also been seeing a lot more lag during the times when I usually have no problem.

Yakuza Family - Conclusion
Brickdoctor replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for the great game, badboy! Yeah, I must apologize for my behavior that Day. I was incredibly frustrated that, in my mind, I'd done everything I could do to help, and you were taking it was reason to lynch me, and I was annoyed that you wanted me to compile my own list of actions, because, really, that's not a defense. Anyone can make themselves appear Townie by doing Townie actions, so it's the motive behind them that needs to be exposed, and I thought that I had already defended that in the best possible way. In any case, my behavior that Day really wasn't helpful and was unnecessarily hostile, so I apologize. On that note, I'm a little disappointed that this turned out to be survivors win, because I had assumed that it was team win, but it is my fault that I got lynched, so I don't really have that much against it, even if I feel that I was more helpful and put more effort into this game than some of the winners. -
I notice a Knight commenting on the battle, but I do my best to tune him out and concentrate at the task at hand, wondering why people seem to be in such a hurry.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note: I think I got this right. Any changes? Since you've got all those Pikemen massed on the East Wall, I assumed you'd want more heroes to the west. You rush to your positions. -
Updated. When you kill O1, he drops the Wine Cellar portal. If someone has an Incantation (which drops from the dungeon bosses of Snake Pit and higher at a very low chance), he can use it to open the portal. Then you go inside and you get to Oryx's Wine Cellar. In that is Oryx 2 (really creative, I know), and he's the only enemy who drops WC Tops, the highest equips in the game. (T12 weapons and armor, and T6 abilities)

March 30th, 2012, on which we just kept on rolling: Realm of the Mad God: 16 (Deaths: CallMePie: 4, PoisonKate: 3, Brickdoctr: 2+4 Suicides, Hornblower: 2, Briksparts: 1, TLSisco: 1) Eurobricks Guild: 2 (Oryx Survivors: PoisonKate: 1, CallMePie: 1) Doc did the usual and died, then spent about the whole MegaBlokin' day trying to roll up some suitable stats, contributing four suicides to RotMG's kill total. Skipper got killed by a Medusa, and then decided to jump into a UDL with Doc just to see how long he'd last with a Level 1, starter equips Wizzy. It was about ten seconds. Kate overtook Flipz in overall Guild Fame rankings, and she and CMP were today's O1 survivors. B&P and Sisco tied for best overall score, finishing at -1. As a whole, the Guild finished with an overall score of -14, slightly better than yesterday's -16. CMP is passing players left and right on the Guild Fame rankings, and now only narrowly trails Sisco for the sixth spot overall. Skipper and Doc were the biggest Fame gainers, at +297 and +255, respectively. The EB guild (or, actually, just Doc) rolls on... Haha. Hah. Ha.
