  1. OoC: But we'd still have to beat the rug in battle, right? If so, it's not worth the wasted Round. And I'm sure the party will want to get their hands on what appears to be an artifact, anyways.
  2. I was still in Q17 mode there. If that was Q17, I would've allowed it. You mean if you get picked for Q31? Sure; I'm probably going to be allowing quite a bit of freedom. Not on the scale of Q17, but the party will be welcome to try.
  3. Reviewing the circumstances in my mind, I have a flash of inspiration: OoC: Can we attempt to pull Bluehood out of the rug, seeing as we can pull each other out? Or would that ruin the challenging enemy you have prepared?
  4. I don't live in that area, and this is the first time I've actually tried looking up a LUG, but looking at the LUGMap, there is an Arizona LUG and a Utah LUG.
  5. Thanks. It's actually been around for a while in my MOCs, now.
  6. OoC: I really should've read that more carefully."We've got two healers. For now, let's start this off with as much Damage as possible. If we start to lose Health, then you might want to consider switching to the saber to Stun the thing."
  7. "Both Fire and Ice are strong against Beasts, while Darkness is neither strong nor weak, so the Elemental Damage would be equal. I don't see any reason not to use the Frozen Saber and try to Stun the thing at the same time."
  8. Yeah, it seems fair to me. Nevertheless, I think you, for now, have the distinction of QM with the enemy with the highest Health.
  9. Noting the irony of the fact that Lawrence has now been right twice despite his utter disregard for courtesy, I leap back from the door I was attempting to open and take up a battle stance. Standing atop the rug, now, I draw back my Briar Bow and fire an arrow down into the Enchanted Bear Skin Rug's head from the Back Row. Order of Actions: Bartholomew Docken Lord Lawrence Boomingham En Sabah Nur Jess Islanti Haldor Skovgaard
  10. Hurrah! Looks great. I said this in the group PM with Kalle, Calabar, and Aanchir, but I'll say it again: This is the most coherent RCB model I have seen yet, and I love the whimsical touches added. Great work, all. Small note: I didn't touch the prison. A better description of my turn would be, "Built up walls, covered main stairs to walls, and added small cannon".
  11. Everything I've heard points to 'no'. Hasbro's fault, again.

  13. Destruction isn't that valuable. Some of the better players will trade T7/T8 stuff for HP/MP pots so they don't have to go farm for them themselves. I've done it a couple times in O's Castle when I was desperate for an HP pot and I was carrying around a GBow or RHeart or some other so-so weapon compared to what I normally use.
  14. This wasn't one of my favorites, either, but I'll be participating! For now, I'm going to say that I'll attempt an LDD Delta-7 Aethersprite. Depending on how much time I have, I may or may not include the hyperdrive ring.
  15. "Lord Boomingham! Please, try not to make a mess." Making sure that those wooden panels are indeed doors, I attempt to open the one farther away from me in the right wall of the room.
  16. Other GM's Note:In a quest, the enemies wouldn't even consider healing themselves. They would only heal themselves if they had a special that allowed them to do so, and their 'decision' to do so would depend entirely on the roll of the die. Since you do have a special that allows you to heal yourself, you will use that if you roll Shield or if Pie rolls Special Damage, but you can't attempt to heal. (and in any case, Magical Vortex has an attack of equal power to healing built in to it, so you wouldn't gain any Health, anyways; and if Pie rolled Special Damage, Jinx would prevent you from getting any benefits) In short, the possible outcomes are as follows: Atramor Gibbin vs. >Althior Emorith - Hex - normal result: Althior continues to be Hexed for the next Round. Critical Poisoned Hit/Heal More - normal result Poisoned Hit/Heal - normal result Poison/Heal Less - normal result Damage/No Healing - If Atramor attempts to heal himself, nothing happens; if Atramor attacks, Althior does Darkness Elemental Damage equal to double WP to himself. (doubled for elemental strength) Jinx/No Healing - If Atramor attempts to heal himself, nothing happens; if Atramor attacks, Althior does Darkness Elemental Damage equal to sextuple his WP to himself and heals Atramor for an equal amount. (tripled for Shield by Arena rules* and doubled for elemental strength) >Althior Emorith vs. Atramor Gibbin - Magical Vortex - Althior does Darkness Elemental Damage equal to sextuple his WP to himself and heals himself for an equal amount, thus neither increasing nor decreasing his Health. (tripled for Shield by Arena rules* and doubled for elemental strength) Great Spell/Heal More - Althior does Darkness Elemental Damage equal to quadruple his WP to himself. (doubled for Critical Hit and doubled for elemental strength) Spell/Heal - Althior does Darkness Elemental Damage equal to double his WP to himself. (doubled for elemental strength) Meditate/Heal Less - normal result: Althior regains 1 Ether. Damage/No Healing - normal result Special Guard/No Healing - Althior has a 50% chance of being struck by Atramor's special. (Hex) *which is OP and really should be lowered to just WP.
  17. ...and to your credit there was the Q7 puzzle with the different prison cells - that one was well done. Yeah, some of us have a knack for really long quests.
  18. Taking care not to step on Master Bluehood's fur rug or to touch any of his items, I take a look in the archway at the back of the room. "Master Bluehood?"
  19. Noting the Magnifying Glass on the table, the armor, and what appears to be an elemental staff, I instruct the party, "Alright, let's not go touching anything." Raising my voice, I say, "Master Bluehood? Are you here?"
  20. As do I. Much better than anagrams. Sorry, Zeph.
  21. GM Note: Actually, thinking about this, even though enemies in quests don't choose their own actions, they always attempt to do as much Damage as possible to heroes. With that in mind, a Hexed hero in the Arena should act as if he were not Hexed, and be forced to perform whichever action the GM thinks would be most beneficial to him were he not Hexed. In this case, that would mean that Althior would attempt to cast a Darkness Spell at Atramor using Dragoro from the Back Row.
  22. Okay, I guess that was a little too ahead of its time.
  23. I glance at Lawrence. "Lord Boomingham, that wouldn't be very polite, now would it? I don't think Master Blue Hood would like that." Turning back to the stone head, I reply, "My first thought was a glacier, though 'waves' is a good answer."
  24. You shouldn't drink the pots unless you have a lot of them. +1 Att isn't going to make much of a difference, but you could've gotten better equips. I somehow managed to die in a UDL. In a group of people, too. I ran into Septavious' chamber, used the skull on the minions, started to circle, and somehow ran into enough streams of small snowballs to die. Not as much upset at myself as confused at how I managed to do that, 'cause UDL's are usually easy for me.
  25. Wow, really? I never live that long. Is this our first 1,000+ Fame death in the guild? I know this beats my Fame record (740) and Hasenklein's (900+). Skipper? Oh, wait, I misread that.
