  1. OoC: I just remembered that swils acts first this Round, so if he rolls Damage or Special Damage, then I'm not Stunned for my action in this Round. If I'm not Stunned during my turn, I attack Thormanil from the Back Round with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  2. "Pride leads to patriotism. Patriotism leads to totalitarianism. Totalitarianism leads to power. Power... leads to suffering."
  3. OoC: I'm fairly certain the ones in the first post are new; the 'Mug' ability wasn't in there for any class before. Since Thormanil didn't roll Damage or Special Damage, I'm still Stunned for my next action, therefore I do nothing from the Back Row.
  4. OoC: Oh, didn't realize we were using the new Arena rules. How are we handling Gold stealing? I don't believe we ever clarified that in our PMs. Anyways, Special Damage should be ((9*3)/2)-15=0 Damage + Stunned, since I'm in the Back Row and he's using a melee weapon. Then the second action should be Thormanil's not mine, and he's not Stunned, so you should roll for that. (unless you mean to say that he rolled Damage or Special Damage and I was Stunned so nothing happened as a result of the second action)
  5. "Stats take precedence over pride, Master Nihai." I attack Thormanil from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  6. "I, Bartholomew Docken, (Brickdoctor) would like to challenge Thormanil Nihai (swils) to a duel!"
  7. You're not using anything that only benefits Sorcerers, are you? You could always choose another class. (and if the Gold is the reason you chose Sorcerer, then that hasn't been nerfed)
  8. He merged an Amethyst and the four scrolls Elphaba sold with an artifact.
  9. "Both. It was a general question, but it was directed at all the heroes currently here, and you're one of those heroes, so..."
  10. My goal is for everyone to want me in their party because I'm invincible.
  11. "Anyone want to duel in the Arena while we wait?"
  12. Originally it was guaranteed to succeed; Clerics weren't affected by negative effects. It was nerfed to a chance of success.
  13. I sign up for the Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory as part of Benji's party.
  14. My lord, it's impossible to locate Day Twenty Two. It's out of our range. ...not for a Sith... This is my Sith Infiltrator, Midi-scale Scimitar. It will find your lost ship. In many ways, this ship is like the Sheathipede: Lots of curves combined with lots of angles, but they all seem to lend themselves well to the shape of LEGO. I started with a 3-wide Lowell Sphere, an improvement on my design that I used in last year's calendar for the Midi-scale Homing Spider Droid. (Day 4) From there, it was just a matter of attaching the right curved pieces at the right angles and using those 2x4 tiles to cover up the gaps. 2012SWAdvent_Day22.lxf
  15. On that note, Zeph, I think you've taken Legonater's stats from the end of the Unlimited Quest, and Sandy didn't subtract the 400 Gold from him when he traded with me.
  16. Guts is back up to 911 Gold already. Actually, is Docken the richest hero right now? He's got 1444 Gold, counting the Silver Ore.
  17. "Very well."I walk downstairs to update my sign. (list of items for sale a few posts up has been updated with Soma for 30 Gold)
  18. When I switch back and forth between the RTE and plain text editor (usually because I wanted to quickly color a bit of text because I forgot the hex code), it'll sometimes for a moment give me the HTML for the post instead of the BBCode, and HTML uses those '< >' brackets for its tags. It usually converts back to BBCode by itself a moment later, though. With the old software, if I accidentally clicked away from a page or closed a tab, I could go back or press 'Command+Z' to reopen the tab in Safari, and the text would still be there. Doesn't work with the new software, which means I have to rely on the autosave. I just try to remember to select and copy the entire post every once in a while when I'm typing a long post.
  19. "Thank you, Master Carvenhall." "Certainly."Ignoring Benji's tendency to call me 'Bart', and realizing that it's better than 'Barty-Bart', I hand him my Mead for 10 Gold. "Indeed. Are you still interested in this Soma, by the way?"I give Althior my Grand Tonic for 20 Gold.
  20. The interludes were a great idea, and I'm excited to see what I assume is a Rito Quest following up on JimB's interlude.
  21. Brave, but foolish, Day Twenty One. You're impossibly outnumbered. It wasn't the Geonosians I was thinking about. How do you think one Jedi will hold up against a thousand Miniland-scale B2 Super Battle Droids? I thought the builders at LEGOLAND did a good job with their SBDs, so I didn't try anything radically different. Mostly, I just tried to slim it down, because I think the LEGOLAND figures, while their general shaping was good, are too bulky to represent even the more stocky Super Battle Droids. 2012SWAdvent_Day21.lxf
  22. "Well, hopefully once this next run through the Fields is complete and with you being more active, he'll be strong enough to avoid that."I pause for a moment to hang a sign near the quest board, reading: For sale: Lover's Locket (immune to Enamored; accessory; suitable for all classes) - 30 Gold (save 25% compared to Fabian's price) Soma (Causes the Blessed-effect, allowing the target to recover 3 Health at the end of each round for the duration of one battle.) - 30 Gold (save 33% compared to Portia's price) Deadly Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the Badly Poisoned-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A Badly Poisoned enemy loses 10 Health each turn.) - 35 Gold (save 30% compared to Portia's price) I return to the saloon. "Anyone want to duel in the Arena?"
  23. "Ah, Master Finnegan, good to see you again. I haven't seen you that much, despite the fact that I've been questing with Master Emorith. "Odd. From what I read in the Library of that quest, that party was quite successful at quickly thinking of different ways to repel their enemies. And I also heard that Master Emorith obtained a ridiculously powerful elven horse that allowed him to slay legions."
  24. "She didn't seem particularly evil or powerful. But as I recall, she seemed to toy with her enemies, and my encounter with her was quite a while ago, when I was just a low-Level Ranger and she was just beginning to harvest the 'Chaos'."I haven't fought her since. Between my journeys to Salmanda and the Great Guffington's dreams, with a quest here in Eubric and my previous run through the Fields, I haven't been on another quest involving Lady Wren. "Speaking of the Fields, it would be good to have you on this team. I know we could've used more heavy hitters during my last battles there. Healers can heal only so many times, Lucky Rogues can keep only so many enemies occupied, and this shield can stop only so many hits. This Scroll and Gold should help, though."
  25. "Me, I despise Lady Wren. She forced our party to solve anagrams!"
