  1. Way back when Heroica first started, I remember that I asked if there were other rooms in Heroica Hall, such as bedrooms, stable or armory. Sandy said that there were other rooms, but they're off-limits to heroes, who stay at their own houses or at an inn.
  2. Good to see more members of the guild active again. Sorry I can't join you; the game's too laggy for me around this time.
  3. Skipper, Costy and I were on today. RealmEye (the successor to StatBot that I found out about today) says that K-nut and Masked were on today, too.
  4. I've got three of those on one of my mules; they don't seem exciting anymore. There's a certain thrill to using them in O1's Castle, but I'm currently trying not to die while I refill my stat pot reserve mules, so I don't use them for that. Same for Pirate Rum. I heard there was some sort of Fame-Gold conversion for certain items on Testing, but I can't seem to get onto the testing server (all I get are 2048 errors), so I can't be sure.
  5. I've always thought Spd:Def should be around 3:1 and Dex:Def should be 4:1; it's harder to get Spd. (I can run Sprites all day and easily fill up a mule with Dex) I guess Dex is more important, enough so that it's worth more. (plus it's undoubtedly the most fun stat - would you rather walk around faster or spit bullets out like a machine gun?) Ammys are apparently cursed, now, so instead of reviving you, they turn you into a zombie that other players kill. I wouldn't want one even if they were tradeable. Of course, now there's no use for Fame...
  6. Nice job with the interlude, Rumble. For some reason, I'd never thought of doing an interlude about my character instead of my NPCs.
  7. Only if you copy them into the RTE; then they keep the formatting they had from the source you copied from. Only plain text gets inserted if you copy-paste into the plain text editor.
  8. It's not the editor as a whole that's the QM's bane, just the RTE. I've said it before, I'll say it again: memorize the common BBCode tags and use the plain text editor. I've never had a problem with it, and other than the need to remember or reference the tags from another window, it's just like what we had before the board upgrade.
  9. I think we were working on it. Once we finalize the new set of more balanced rules (Aims will not be more powerful than Critical Hits ), then we can tweak them for team battles if necessary.
  10. Are any of you still active? I ask because I decided to roll a char yesterday, and after, well, more rolls than I can count, I got a decent char and decided to pot him up. One thing lead to another and after a day of running UDLs, I've got an Old Tops 6/8 Necro. So I jump into the more difficult areas, and... ninja classes, candyland dungeons, mad scientist labs, headless horsemen, T13 armor, wha?! I'm hoping one of you has been active and can give me a quick idea of things that have been introduced while I wasn't playing that might insta-kill me if I'm not watching out for them.
  11. OoC: And that is why the current 'Aim' rolls don't make sense. They're more powerful than Critical Hits! I help Thormanil off the floor of the Arena and shake his hand. "Good fight, Master Nihai."
  12. Wow. Yep, that looks like your post, left in HMTL instead of being converted to BBCode by the editor. I'm guessing that's what happened to you, Zeph?I would try editing it and toggling between the RTE and plain text editor to see if it'll convert it back to BBCode. If not, Bonaparte was able to look up an older version of Scorpiox's About Me page when he accidentally erased it, so maybe he can find an older version of the Marketplace post.
  13. Gimmegimmegimmegimmegimme.
  14. While I do prefer the older style of minifig to the newer ones, I have to say that I agree with TLG's decision to place more focus on the minifigs. I guess it's because I'm an MOCer, not a collector, so I can build whatever vehicle or scene I want, which means that if I buy a set, I buy for the minifigs or for the parts. And if I'm going to be paying the typical LEGO Star Wars price, I'd prefer to be paying more for minifigs than for a vehicle or scene which I'm going to build once (or not at all) and then part out.
  15. OoC: I'll make it fair and tell you mine: Thormanil, Back Row, Darksteel Crossbow.
  16. OoC: I believe we actually have a no auto-rolling rule in the Arena to prevent people from abusing the system for easy consumables. K-nut wasn't supposed to roll those three Rounds at once. Not that I'm complaining. I meant that he could roll after only I'd submitted my action if you weren't online to state yours.
  17. I attack Thormanil from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. OoC: You can play these next three Rounds with only my stated actions, since swils is Blinded and doesn't have a Remedy.
  18. I know there haven't been models for a couple days. No, I didn't forget about them. Like last year, I don't want to end the calendar with - or even include in it - a Miniland-scale figure(s) that's not even in the canon universe. I was trying to think of something else to build. Last year I finished with the LXFs for my TIE x1, TIE/sa and TIE/in that I did for Community Builds, but this year I'd already posted the LXFs for my N-1 and Delta-7 at the same time as the pictures of the models. I tried to think of some vehicle that I really thought should've been in this calendar, but I couldn't. (and it doesn't help that there's a definite Menace theme; I'm neither a huge fan of the movie nor as well-versed with its vehicles compared to the OT) So, let's do this: You guys pick a vehicle by popular vote before the end of the year - any vehicle from the saga, provided it wasn't in last year's calendar or this year's calendar, and I'll try to build it in one day in midi-scale to finish off this calendar rebuild. Merry Christmas, EB!
  19. Denoting a hero in the Back Row.Oh, by the way, can we suggest more than one hero to receive a gift for Grogmas? I thought it sounded like we could only list one, but Zepher listed multiple (serious) suggestions.
  20. Work out a deal to get the sword back after it's WP: 94 or so. Assassins don't need WP to kill stuff quickly.
  21. Do unto others as you would have them do to you...
  22. Let's all suggest that JimB get a Cloak of the Red Assassin. Then we get CMP to give him the Sword of Ancestral Hatred and watch the enemies fall and the WP soar.
  23. OoC: swils was using the Wyvern's Tailblade, so I shouldn't be Stunned in Round 3. You need to roll for Docken's action in Round 3, and then Docken gets an Aura from swils' Special Damage rolled in Round 3. That makes the Aura in Round 4 double the doubled Health from Round 3. Finally, swils should be Blinded after rolling Damage in Round 4. (doesn't get his own action for 3 Rounds; nothing happens if I roll Damage for 3 Rounds) Also, it doesn't change the calculations, but I was in the Back Row.
  24. OoC: Right.
