  1. If you could render it at 1920x1080, it would make a really nice wallpaper
  2. Do you have the newest updates for the drivers for your graphics card?
  3. Yep, it's the one with the green bush...
  4. Well, ok, I'll place it when it's finished if everyone agrees? Anyway, I finished buildin the model. It looks and works great. I made a list of notes while building, which you can read here. Red means it's best to really fix those, underlined is less important and normal text is only for the perfectionists If something is unclear, or nobody can understand it (which is very likely ), please ask. I will also make a page to add at the end of the final pdf, which gives some advice how to use it etc. And I will fix my parts list, which includes some errors.
  5. Huh? You can just open the .mpd in LPub, why should anyone copy anything?
  6. Here's a wip photo. I'm making notes of the errors I encounter in the instructions and the things that can be better. But they look very, very good already It's an interesting build. It's good for the variety, it's something else than vehicles.
  7. Well, it's not a problem if someone else places it. I've placed a bunch of MOCs for someone else too, the original builder can be credited. But if you want to place it yourself when it's finished, feel free to do so, it's your moc
  8. I've made a complete Brickstore parts list, which you can download here, but it would be better to include in a .zip with the final instructions. I've corrected all errors, including the green bush, the LDraw-Bricklink number differences etc. I'll build the Spirograph tonight/tomorrow. It's a win-win, I have a nice model and I can check the instrctions, although I don't think there will be many errors left . I can't wait to see it in action Btw, I'm wondering if the model will be placed on Rebrickable? If so, who's going to do that? PG52 himself, or someone else? EDIT: I can remove pages from the final pdf, but it has to be the last page, otherwise the page numbering will be screwed up at the end. Another EDIT: I just realized something: I don't know if the ghost parts are also in the parts list? Otherwise, I should make one from the original file without any steps, or are there any parts added? And is it correct that the model includes 2 black 43093? Because they are very rare
  9. The instructions look good, except the step numbers. I don't really like the font. And, now it doesn't match the cover But of course it's a personal opinion. Nice work everyone, with those call-outs, sub models, arrows etc
  10. My favorite LEGO game is definitely LEGO Rock Raiders. But LEGO Racers and LEGO Star Wars the Complete saga are also very high on the list.
  11. You posted that here. It's just the post before Anio's one.
  12. At Rebrickable you can also manage (well not as detailed as in basebrick) your collection of Sets and loose parts. And it also imports Brickset. I don't want to say Rebrickable is better, but also a good (kind of) alternative
  13. @Freakwave, in what file-format and size do you want the cover? Or do you send me the pdf final instructions before putting them online so I can put them in the pdf itself (with Adobe Acrobat)?
  14. What number do you have? Just curious
  15. That's a nice little GBC setup. I like the movement of the arms of the witch, they are moving very smoothly. Nice work!
  16. It's still an unofficial part. You can download it from the LDraw Parts Tracker, but you also download it from my dropbox, I uploaded it here
  17. Ah, I see. It isn't the beam that's misplaced though, it are those 2 x-o-x connectors and the 4 blue pins that are misplaced.
  18. I don't know which beam you mean? Btw, why are there so many parts with a weird color?
  19. Well, it looks good to me so far. Great work Alasdair (and the other people of course) Who's actually going to do the LPub? If there isn't anybody yet, I can do it if needed.
  20. There's now an inventory available on the LEGO site, which you can view here on brickset. But, remind, these inventories are not always 100% complete! The other serious play kit has an inv too, btw.
  21. Well, that doesn't solve the problem, because these "MLCAD BTG Sub-Model_Cuckoo_Mechanic" lines and the parts between them, is the submodel. When I replace it with "1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 Sub-Model_Cuckoo_Mechanic.ldr", it's referencing to a submodel that isn't included in the file.
  22. Well, it's the submodel Cuckoo_Mechanic, take a look at this picture. A picture says more than 1000 words. Do you see what happens? The whole submodel is placed as 1 step, and also take a look at the right-side, where it says "MLCAD BTG Sub-Model_Cuckoo_Mechanic" all the time inside this submodel. I don't know what that means Also note that it's not exactly a submodel, as there isn't a [submodelname].ldr in the model with the submodel located at the end of the .mpd file, sintead, all the parts of this submodel are just located somewhere in the file. I hope you know what I mean.
  23. Well, it seems something went wrong with the submodel for the Cuckoo and its mechanism. It's a bit difficult to explain in words, but it isn't a submodel anymore in the file and without any steps. Considering the quality of all the other things, I think something wen wrong here. Philo, maybe you could contact Daniel and see if can correct it (if this is indeed a mistake), because it would be a waste of time for him if he made the whole submodel with steps and then post a model without these steps.
  24. Nice work! May I try to make some LPub instructions of Daniel's file? EDIT: Oh, I thought it were only a bunch of steps, but now I looked better at the file and it seems Daniel has created the full instructions: stepts, rotsteps, submodels etc. I wonder why he hasn't made some LPub instructions himself, he has already done 90% of the work...
