  1. I'm meaning Trolls are based on a Danish brand. But otherwise they've been Americanized. The original script for the Trolls Movie was way better than the musical we got.
  2. Simpsons is definitely more adult than Trolls or Minions, and LEGO's core audience is kids. What do kids generally watch? Minions movies, Trolls, and other kid-oriented things. Also, Trolls is Danish, so it's nice to see some some Danish mixing there of LEGO and Trolls, even if I myself won't buy the sets.
  3. Currently, I have the following people signed up... Hinckley JackJonesPAw Trekkie99 Fhomess DarkDragon Jimmynick Kristel This is seven, 3 less than the minumum I was hoping for. If everyone is ok aiwth what most likely be a super short game, I'll run it.
  4. I gotta say I like the minifigures' faces, maybe because I grew up in the 2000s and had a lot of faces from different sets across themes. They're silly in an ugly way, but if you put them on the right figure/combination, they don't look too bad. The sets though just are not too good.
  5. Bump, I think.
  6. Labeling it like this would be super helpful, especially when GMs have massive fights. As a slight side note/joke for story, can we make it where Galidor is automatically evil?
  7. I'm in! Looks good, noticed a few typos though. I love the patron name.
  8. MOCs are the easiest thing. Put two bricks together. There's a MOC. Put three together. There's another. Keep going, keep going. One suggestion when it comes to MOCs is to draw them out, either with LDD or pen and paper. Just draw, write, whatever you want that thing to be. Is it a castle? Draw your ideal castle. Is it a spaceship (obligatory SPACESHIP!!!)? Draw it out. Is it that house? Draw it out. Once that's done, identify the scale. Is it micro, minifig, or ginormous? That can help determine the parts you need. My prefered way (especially when it comes to things like Heroica and BotBS) is to come up with a story or take a minifigure and build something around it. It takes practice and time, but it gets easier. But it's (in my opinion) the epitome of what LEGO building is. It's not specific sets (although let's be honest, we all love keeping some sets intact), it's the taking something and making it new and your own, even if that's taking an official set, keeping it together, and putting it in a larger piece, like how people do the modulars into displays. Look through my brisckshelf account, you'll see how I've grown after howver many years of making my own MOCs (that I post online). I'm not even that good. There are so many people better than me that started where I am, where maybe you think you are. The great thing about LEGO is the parts are interchangeable, so you can fix things. It's not a real house where once it's built, renovating costs an arm and a leg. I plan on building a town layout in the future (when I have enough space to dedicate to it). It's going to be a mix of official sets and MOCs. There's going to be giant mountains and a beach, and houses, and office buildings, and police, hospitals, bridges, maybe a train, restaurants, museums, stores, and who knows what else. Do I know what/how to build some of these? No way. Am I going to try? Absolutely. Start small, look at pictures of real world examples, and take what you think should be there and put them in your MOC. Who cares that this piece people might normally use for a mailbox is being used as the facade of a building? It's your MOC, it's your layout.
  9. And that 40% is definitely getting what they like if we follow what Mab and TeriXeri posted.
  10. I'm good with whatever. Also gives me more time for a pitch as well.
  11. My lord, is that... leeeegal?
  12. Yup. D-0 (or however it's spelled) on a First Order stromtrooper body, torso and legs. Could fit as a droid/automata character, That's absolutely barbaric.
  13. Don't forget the 16x32 baseplates that are in some sets or you can buy on bricklink. Maybe combine those with two 8x16 baseplates and you'll have a modular on a roadplate and the road.
  14. I had no idea the ostrich head could fit on minifigure torsos.
  15. ORdered some 1x4 grey arches and various minifigure castle accessories for my MOC castle. I wish PAB had them in light grey.
  16. Bump...
  17. Instead of all the elements like we had in H1, there's really only three types of weapons/armor. And specific types can only damage specific resistances. So instead of players having singular loadouts and god-tier individual weapons, they are now having to carry multiple items to destroy enemies.
  18. Honestly, I'd see it. Can't be as bad as TLJ. Also, it would give LEGO an excuse for more ewok village sets.
  19. It feels like an old medieval painting or tapestry, with all the minifigs in such a small space and leaning over walls. Great work.
  20. I think it's because they can be tedious to put on or don't look as good as printed pieces. Personally, I don't care if there are stickers or not, just as long as a set doesn't get too expensive, which is probably a reason why we have stickers, to keep prices down. My biggest gripe with stickers are ones that go across multiple pieces.
  21. @Waterbrick Down I love it. Although I'm slightly confused by the Equipment idea. Is that just an add on to a weapon/armor/etc, or is it a completely seperate thing?
  22. I know whe had that issue with Photobucket on the original run. I do think, like was mentioned way earlier in the thread, that there needs to be a few people running the game so one person doesn't get burnt out. If we want to be sure the images will be saved, we can use EB has the image host, as they allow some uploads.
  23. Does BrickLink have this type of feature? I'm somewhat suprised Brickset doesn't as they have a log of basically every single set. Otherwise, the old fashioned spreadsheet might be the option.
  24. Yes please! Those look fantastic.
