Becky Carroll took the evening to look out over the city from her favorite place to read: the roof of a mechanic's shop. As she was contemplating life and her own writing ambitions, she heard footsteps. "Bananaman!" she exclaimed, startled. What's "with the fish?" "Well, I've come to smack you silly." "Are you the same one who beat Molly's husband? He was wearing a banana suit, too." "You know I can't say that," the masked figure replied. "Because all mysterious actions in previous books are figures clad in all black, it was time to change it up. I might be scum, I might be town, I might even be Clutch Powers. That's part of the mystery." "But why the fish?" "I pulled it out of the freezer." SMACK! The banana man thwapped Backy Caroll rightly across the face, and unlike butterflies in the sky, she fell to her untimely death. The next morning, everyone gathered around Becky's cold, ABS plastic corpse. "Well, this isn't good," Molly said as she searched Backy's pockets. "Becky was one of us, she was Book Club (Town). Alright, eveyone, let's get to work." The Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Book Club (Town) or the Knitting Club (Scum). To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting is mandatory. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. Failure to vote will incur a 2-vote penalty the following game day. 3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached after 72 hours. After the day has been concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 20 hours of the night stage. 3.5. Players may not target the same player two nights in a row, and may not target themselves. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the "Off-hour"/night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next "Hour"/day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host, or in PM with any other players. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. 11. While not a big ride, I would love a carnival games section. Maybe it goes with a smaller ride like the tilt-a-whirl.

Molly Jackson was walking with her husband Brad through the town square to her book club with their child when she had a bad feeling. "Babe," she said. She was right. A masked figure, wearing a non-descript, no game-giving away (no clues in pictures) banana outfited figure attacked them. "What are you doing?!" Molly shrieked. "Oh no!" her husband screamed as he was hit multiple times. "It's stale! I'm being beaten by a stale croissant! This is some fabuland-style deaths!" And then, the figure ran away. Molly ran to her husband, leaving their child unattended in the carriage. "Who was it? Did you see who it was?" "It was..." Brad started," It was..." And then Brad expired. "No!!!" Molly screamed. "That's it, Barbara! I knew it was you this time. That was my fourth damn husband you've killed! I was so close to making it onto Desperate Wives of South Dayton with my book club, but you were too jealous! Your knitting club has to take precedence. I knew you've been after me since the poisoning of my second husband! You'll see!" Molly went to work. She quickly removed the town fountain and established a podium, raising her above the group. She said, "Fellow book club members, we have been infiltrated! After the death of my second husband, I've been cautious of people like Barbara Melvin. i refuse to be like her. She sent someone to kill my darling fourth hubby. And the only way she was successful was by having rats in my perfect bookclub. She sent her own knitting club members into here to spy on us. It's time for us to find out who is a traitor and who is loyal to me and being hip with reading. The Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Book Club (Town) or the Knitting Club (Scum). Awesome work! He's beefy, and those dual cordak blasters look awesome. I do think his feet look a bit small for how massive his body is though.

That's everyone! Post will be up tonight.

Heroica: Glory Amongst The Stars RPG - Game Development
KotZ replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in Heroica! The RPG!
The ranks on EB are just about how many times someone has posted; there's no real meaning to them aside from that. And as a roleplaying game (or what I hope we'll grow in to), I always love to see new people get interested. -
MAfia: The Game Mrs. Molly Jackson is the head of the town bookclub. She loves reading and is desperate to remain young and hip. But as she gets up there in age, she realizes she gets closer and closer to living in a rest home with the old and grouchy Mrs. Barbara Melvin the Granny who runs the dreaded Knitting Club. Gross! Normally, she wouldn't mind, but Molly has caught wind that some of her bookclub members (and their significant others and kids) might be joining the Knitting Club and are aiming to destroy the bookclub from the inside out! The Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Book Club (Town) or the Knitting Club (Scum). Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
KotZ replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
That's why I said in an earlier post slot machines won't work, but card tables could. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
KotZ replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
If it's as card games, I think they could get away with it (although I don't think it's the next modular building). I can see them betting cookies as the currency, but that's as far as it will go. -

Great. 8 people is slightly smaller than I hoped for, but we've got a game! Look for PMs soon.

Heroica: Glory Amongst The Stars RPG - Game Development
KotZ replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in Heroica! The RPG!
The clarification definitely helps. I think though that having "Blacktron" as the name is problematic because why not MTron? Why not Space Police, etc? Official lego theme names might be better as references for factions to interact with rather than the player mission-giving one. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
KotZ replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
LEGO did a pool hall (we all know those are trouble). And in that set they have Prohibition style references, but this time with contraband cookies. A Casiono would make sense in this wave. Well, maybe not slots, but card table would be great for a modular building if they went that route. Wild West had characters playing cards, as well. -
Alright, I'm giving everyone who hasn't jumped in yet until Sunday evening, and then posts will go out.

While certainly not an homage to another Danish toymaker, it is somewhat funny/interesting that a Danish Toy is being turned into another Danish toy.
