I'm curious about this. I've been buying Ninjago sets off and on when some catch my interest, but this could catch my full attention.
-
Very cool work! I love the angles used! How'd you get that in LDD?
-
"Oh, my, well, this is a... delightful creature." He directed his attention to the dwarf. "Don't worry, we mean you and Samba no harm. We're only here to talk."
-
"Thank you," Kleeck said with a bow. He paid thirty credits. "Thank you for this fine work. Hopefully more business sees you soon."
-
"Ah, too bad. But you know what they say, it's just the start. 30 credits?"
-
Kleeck straightened up in satisfaction. "If those are the rules for your establishment, then I have no qualms. They seem quite fair. For the Gazerbeam, perhaps we start at 20 credits? I happen to notice that it's just not as fashionable as newer models. Fashion is an important part of a culture, after all." "Thank you for the information, my friend. Let me think on it."
-
"These seem to be quite useful, although that gazerbeam seems to be quite expensive." Kleeck check his credits. "Quite expensive indeed. Would you be open to haggling?" "What do each of these do?" Kleeck inspected the items, bringing his head close to each one.

Honestly, why not try it haha? -
Kleeck jumped at the sound of the attack. After listening to the speaker, he whispered to himself, "A just and cultured society would have given a fair t, nit just nuked them unless they were attacking. Well, I should correct myself. Culture is a point of view. An advanced society. Ugh." To put his mind out of it, he went to the kiosk. "Greetings. What do you sell here?"

I'm sure you wouldn't put a giant mecha-dragon in it. -

I don't believe you. -
I agree with you for the most part, aside from this sentence. Fantasy awareness and interest in medieval-esque things has been growing thanks to shows/games/media like Game of Thrones, The Witcher, Wheel of Time, etc. While there certainly will be a tick down (or many) of builds of things like castles and fantasy, I don't think this subsection of the board will die completely. Nor will fantasy-historical builds in the larger world. LEGO is definitely not percieved as your "normal" or "average" adult hobby, and I'd venture to guess that many of the fantasy/history nerds have crossover interests through LEGO, tabletop gaming, etc. I'm making broad strokes here, of course, but I think it's a distinct possibility.

My bricklink orders arrived from a few days ago. Lots of ship hulls, steering wheels, and pirate torsos. Various other elements like inverted slopes came in for my castle. Had to buy a set for work as well.
-
"Oh, how curious," he whispered to himself. "So where did you come from? Were you used in the movement? Was an owner a member? Were they a supporter?" He turned to the others. "My guess is this ship was possibly stolen, or that this regime is not friendly to the worker's rights movement, and this is why there is a fresh coat of paint. There are many answers to many questions that I don't know yet."
-
"While I do not posess knowledge of that specifically, perhaps if I can identify the cutlure of the craft makers, we could find an override. Many ships have a manual override in the event of emergency crews needing to access a crew of a downed ship."
-
Kleeck shook his head at the infighting. He ignored the others and walked around the ship, inspecting it. If possible he uses his knowledge of Culture and Insight to figure out anything about the ship from the outside, as well as in the cockpit once Yelanna is done with the cockpit.
-
"I must say, you all need to stop arguing. How does this look for our guest, seeing a group that just helped her arguing amongst themselves? Absolutely outrageous. This just ruffles my feathers."
-
"We should spoof the card," Kleeck whispered.
-
"A flamiiingo?" Kleeck repeated. "Well, maybe, but I do not believe my beak would look right for a flamingo." "Well, a functioning one, of course, would be difficult to spot." Kleeck cleared his throat and shook his feathers. "Would you know anyone who may have come in contact with one?"

Well you should have picked up on my scum act, you gave me the role! But in all seriousness, I figured it could work. My thoughts were best case would be get investigated, found town, then be converted and be in the clear; if not that, be converted at some point if not investigated and bring scum to the full three; if that failed, wait out the other scum to take the mantle of the only scum left and go after the town; the least desirable option was act scummy to draw attention away from the other scum so the town focused on me and not the other two in communication. -
"Cloaking devices? Fascinating. Are they common out in this area? Getting my hands on one has always been a goal of mine." "Well," Kleeck grimaced, "that is just... wonderful, Igaz. Truly. I'm not sure what culture would approve of this, but I don't think it's one in our galaxy."

Why not have the first spell be free to cast? That way players of all types don't have to spec into spellcasting but will always have that first freebie to use if they desire? Different abilities would be cool, too. That way people playing more "warrior" types and others who aren't spellcaster-heavy have things to do. If I'm not mistaken, Destiny 1/2 had similar abilities for their three classes. Not sure how complicated it would get though. -

You had my play spot on. I figured act scummy, to get the recruit, but if I acted scummy, I'd be investigated and seen as town early. I tried to play both sides so I would always come out on top (spoiler alert, I lost). -
"Well, that was lackluster," Kleeck said, looking sadly at his weapon. "No matter! The task is finished! Now, please, tell us this information, it could be rather useful."
