  1. Tell us what you have seen, I want details...
  2. I agree with Allanp except with the tyres, I am too purist for them... I can see pics but better if you show me the MOC with the Lego tyres.
  3. Wellcome to the "every-euro-kind-of-bricks" forum. I will still building with my own rules although it won´t be so easy. Of course I will respect all your opinions and all your Lego or non-Lego MOCs. If someone comes to us with a metallic chassis and Lego body, what are we going to do?.
  4. I am not a judge, I like to make a rules for all of us. I don´t have any problem with your battery on your MOCs but if you want to participate on a trial truck challenge for example, maybe you could have problems with the rules.
  5. I will say, where is the challenge if you can do anything you want?, totally agree with dandexter Crowkillers I forgot this kind of pieces, like the rigid hoxes or the pneumatics tubes I think we can cut them anyway Nice idea RohanBeckett Lipko of course you can design the best piece ever but the challenge is build with the original parts and think on the best way to use them. I don´t have problem with those non-Lego models but at that point I preffer to use non-Lego parts in all the model, they will have more benefits if they are looking for more performance. Rupletump you are right, we had to cut those pieces in the old sets. Another good question Anio... That is my purpose Nazgarot You have all the reason in the world Mahjka. Evolution is good but here we talk about people to think less evolves at least that´s is my opinion Bricksonwheels, if we want to design pieces is good but maybe another kind of forum will be better, a RC or model forum. Lego is not perfect and I like fighting against that.
  6. I think we are in a Lego forum but I see very often not Lego pieces in MOCs, I would like to know which are the unwritten Lego rules for consider a MOC as a real Lego MOC. Everyone will have their opinion and I would like to reach an agreement. For me if there is only one non-Lego or altered piece there isn´t a Lego MOC, it is a non-Lego model more, good or bad but non-Lego. Of course I have my exceptions, for me customize parts without physically alter, use any type of rope or rubber is allowed. What you think?, what are your rules?.
  7. I think there are two different things with same functions, I don´t like RC cars but I like to build them . For me the good thing is to think and create the best design that with Lego you can do, of course if I would like to drive RC cars Lego wouldn´t be the answer. Sorry for the googlenglish .
  8. I don´t think so, if it will be RC it had a lot of gears for the undercarriage trasmision, it will only have gears to operate the arm I think... but everything can be...
  9. Oh good work and please black wheels!.
  10. Is a great truck with nice colors like the real one. In my opinion you have to do a chassis for the truck not to make changes at the truck for the chassis, if you build a real machine the proportion between wheels have to be perfect.
  11. It has been 2 years since I don´t stop building, no matter there is challenge or not .
  12. To have this model if you don´t have all the important pieces can be a nightmare... maybe cost around 300 euros or more... To have the instructions will be a big problem , but a big good one...
  13. Nice truck with a lot of functions, good work . Maybe you can try, if you have ones, with the 8865 wheels...
  14. 2.2 pounds is 1 kg. I made a mistake on the new calculation my weight is 270 pounds or 123 kg (heavy dinner) but never mind I'm also very bad pilot, 17 years training make you strong but also very heavy and not dieting aid .
  15. If legally that is not plagiarism... make a construction of another and change a piece or two is not legally punishable even if ethically?.
  16. Happy birthday too, I drived a kart last week... I think 0 to 50 KM at 7 seconds or more... but it was a normal kart and me with 250 pounds or more... , obviously I lost...
  17. Where people see a lot of sets... I see a lot of bricks, wheels, gears, motors, liftarms... Today I only have my 6090 and pieces...
  18. DLuders you are right it must be a reasonably priced technic car like in Top Gear .
  19. Totally agree, if you build a great MOC and it breaks the rules you still have a great moc .
  20. I love the steering system, like in land rovers , is it strong?.
  21. I don´t think it is so limited, that would force future contestants to buy a 9398 and that won´t happen in my case, ugly colors and poor model (in my opinion). I think that will give total freedom, then if you make a 16 wheels crawler will not come Elected and ready .
  22. Ok, it is not Lego I don´t want it. I played with an original Lego RC and I think it had less power than this, maybe they were the battery... I hope...
  23. Efferman chassis is awesome... but we should not underestimate the power of many builders, thinking how to win the challenge , most amazing things can happen. Of course I hope and think thirdparty parts won´t be tolerated.
