Every store I go to that sells lego has an empty spot on the shelf where the star wars battle packs used to be (the price and description are still there). Are they selling that well? Luckily, I've been able to buy two copies of each set but Id like to buy at least two more. Has anyone had trouble finding these sets?

What other type of SW battle pack would you like lego to create? I'd like to see: Wookie Battle Pack: 4 wookies with bowcasters and a flying vechicle similar to the one in the Wookie Attack set. Geonesian BP: 5 Geonesian soldiers with weapons+ a laser turret similar to the one in the previous Geonesian set. Gungan BP: 4 Gungan soldiers, 1 kadoo, one booma catapult Ewok BP: 4 Ewoks with bows and spears, a catapult and a hanglider.

I noticed it too a few days ago. A big improvement: Nicer interface and a lot faster *y*

I'm pretty sure the Hoth set will be a letdown for most people (especially those with wild expectations). However, I'm still looking forward to seeing a SW setting rather than a vehicle, we haven't seen one of those in a few years.

I got the Scorpion Prison Cave for about 50% of the original price and Gargoyle Bridge for 66% last week. That was at a Sears store here in Canada

Yeah, thats the piece that I was talking about. Id have no problem with it if it was made of hard plastic but its made out of a soft rubbery material. |-/. Thats a big letdown, Im definately gonna have to MOC that out when I get that set.

What Series do you wish Lego never made

Personally, I don't have a problem with Bionicle. I know its a big seller but I just have one request from TLC: KEEP IT OUT OF THE OTHER THEMES! :-) -
The thing I like most about Harry Potter sets is the amount of detail inside the buildings. This new set is definitely a must-buy for me!

The Toys R Us in London Ontario Canada has several copies :-) -
Just picked this set up in TRU. I was just browsing the LEGO sections and was very shocked to see this. I saw it before but I thought it was a cancelled set or that it would be released mid-year.

A lot of good options... but I had to go with 4+ Pirates. The other series at least had some possitive aspects to them. The only thing that "baby pirates" did was ruin the chances for a revival of the real Pirates theme. -
Yeah, having mythical monster minifigs in future sets would be awesome, but Im not holding my breath... that blurry pic might be a sign of things to come or just an accident.

What would make Castle 2007 better than Classic Castle
BearHeart replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
They have those. -
This question is somewhat related to this poll: Castle 2007 Poll Over 80% of the responses said that the new Castle line is not as good as CC. So, what do you think LEGO could do to make the new Castle theme better or at least in your mind, on par with CC? (Im suggesting future releases, not altering the upcoming sets)

Here in Canada, LEGO Vikings are exclusively sold in TRU, you can't get them in any other store. I was there a few days ago and they still had every set in stock (and a lot of them including about 6 or 7 viking fortresses). I also noticed that there were a lot copies of the 2 recent sets that were released in 2006 (possibly not selling well?). Vikings was a great reintroduction into the dark age/medieval theme for LEGO. However, I think that the way LEGO approached the line is why it lasted for so such a short period of time. There was too much Bionicle/Technic influence in the theme not only with the monsters but also with some of the machines and weapons. You can only make so many sets with Bionicle monsters and weapons to fight them with before it gets boring and repetative. Of course there were also a lot of good aspects about the theme, mainly with the minifigs, which seemed the carry over into the upcoming Castle theme (like the minifig torsos). Im much happier to see the new Castle line come out rather than possibly having more viking sets and no new Castle theme. The best case senario for me would be to have the vikings reintroduced in a new light into the new line as another faction in the Castle line.

I thought the boxes were prototypes and the toyfair were the final product (? 8-| ?)

Well, since I dont have either of the first two castles, Im really glad that LEGO is releasing another one. I was actually wishing for another castle since they seem to release one every three years. I only recently started collecting LEGO after 10 years. Im sure there is many other people in my shoes who also dont have either of the first two castles and are excited about the release of a third one.

One thing I noticed that I dont like is that the knight seems to have a plain grey torso underneath the armour (just like the knights in the last few KK sets). Id really like to see a simple chainmail shirt, or a torso with heraldry underneath the armour instead of just plain grey :'-(
