That set with the Futuron minifig seems to be available now, it's on S@H. For $250 I won't be getting it, and considering the unnecessary noticeable difference from the original prints I think I might sadly skip the minifig too. Maybe one...

Glad for the results. No surprises really, the maze is good and will sell, the hornet looks nice and has potential. Most of the others are simply too big. I just hope that these sets are available like the Minecraft, BTTF & Ghostbusters sets, and not like the Exo-Suit & Research Institute. So that's 4, maybe 5, Ideas sets in the works at the moment...

Quite a few of the Ultra Agents, Ninjago & Chima sets are only slightly removed from what I would call modern era Space ships & vehicles. It's out there, it's just marketed differently.

I think if there was more black like all of the other TIE ships it would be a lot better. Plain grey is rather dull. It works for AT-ATs & Star Destroyers but not things like this.

I went and watched the new Mad Max, and was reminded why I prefer to watch movies with the subtitles. I can never understand what anyone is saying with all of the noise going on. Great movie, but Max was a passenger character for the majority of the movie, and the coolest thing he did was off camera. Tom Hardy's performance wasn't good, and they should've used someone with an Australian accent to match the rest of the characters. Hugh Jackman too old? (Too busy/expensive?) Max was throwaway, the movie would've been better without him as such a low-presence but high-profile character. But then no one would've watched it in the first place... Oh, and for the people to whom this matters, there is pretty much no plot. But stacks of action & excitement and creative elements.

It seems that my VIP status has disappeared, I'm still logged in but I'm not a VIP anymore?! Others have reported in the "S@H is terrible" thread similar issues. They'd better fix it, I had a stack of points I forgot to redeem last time.

I'm not too keen. All those studs (and reverse plates on the other side of the wings) make a bland-looking ship even less enticing.

I have actually had very little luck recently finding that and the star destroyer anywhere that has sales. I considered the same on Saturday, but decided against it at the time. It's possible that there won't be too many more chances, as many other sets from mid last year are on clearance already. (So if stock is gone, it may not come back)

"Decommissioned" was an in-character reference. Like turning off a machine for the last time because the technology is obsolete. In product sales, there is no such thing. Old products are discontinued, meaning that they are no longer produced. Depending on the situation, stock may disappear quickly or hang around for a long time. Whether that is in store or also in warehouse. (Some companies will recall old stock if it is being replaced by a new version, others don't.) I go to shops and see items that have been out of production for years. I go to shops and can't find items that are still in production that never reappear in stock, this happens for a lot of Lego sets. Why did TLG tell us it was going out of production in February, and to act so that we didn't miss out? Because so many times AFOLs have been upset/annoyed when a certain set has suddenly disappeared forever. Especially regarding Ideas/Cuusoo. If a set suddenly gets put "on clearance" and sells out in an hour (often due to resellers/scalpers), many people who were wanting one miss out. We have been given enough notice. Why are people complaining about that?

Ghosts have been out for far too long. Apart from the abominable 2006 castle that doesn't exist, we haven't had ghosts in Castle for what, 20 years? All the skeletons we've had in that time...

The planet sets were limited in that the build & minifig had to be relevant to the planet. We almost ran out of planets featured in the movies (and they aren't using material other than OT & PT for both types of set). What vehicle could they do for Dagobah? We already had an X-Wing. Utapau & Geonosis are the only others I can think of. They gave us the Endor planet AND the moon! The planet sets couldn't continue much further. I think you get more value for money with the microfighters, and the only limitation with those is that they come in opposing pairs. I would rather we didn't keep getting droid pilots & TIE pilots though...

The raptor set will surely be exclusive to someone, as it has a higher set number than the biggest set. The other one isn't even on S@H so I don't think it will be available here.
