This is quite impressive, I've been wanting to make one of these although I find the official set to be good, this is great! You've packed a substantial interior in a relatively small space. Bravo on the shaping!

This is unbelievably large!

The second version is much better.

You make a good point, I'm wondering that too. But, I do love the use of the Ninjago blades and the technic cannons are a nice touch! Good work!

I like the use of cables to make the curved "belly" of the Mk. V. Very appealing.

Thanks. Yes, one would assume this is roughly WW1 technology. I went for style over use, but there probably would be some lift.

Thanks, so far I have 300/3800 pieces collected. I'm pleased that you are so impressed. I really like the turrets now.

They are useful! Thanks. I took a tour, last summer, of the USS Pampanito (a submarine) in San Francisco. I was amazed at the cramped-ness of the whole machine. I wanted to portray that. It doesn't look it, but the angles make it so the rotors don't affect the guns. Thanks, I love that color! Thanks! Graduation is coming up, I need to convince my parents to allow some of that money to go to this.

This is the first Star Wars set I've liked in a long time. That price may be worth it for the shape and the awesome minifigures!

Behold! Eventually I would love to make this a tangible MOC, but current funds keep it digital. Hope you like it!

The Average Price of a LEGO piece on Bricklink
tchuk-norst posted a topic in General LEGO Discussion
Does anyone know if there is a way to find the mean price of all pieces on Bricklink short of actually calculating it by hand? -
Awesome ship, how did you render it?

No violent reactions here! I think it looks great! You managed to keep the good and eliminate the unnecessary! Kudos!

Very nice shape. Exactly where would you put the additional weapon?

Thanks, that was the intent, to make something withing the same realm as the Airborne Jade but not just a rehash in the same color. It was my original intent to make it a warship, but I can see where that's coming from. I'll try it and see.

I try not to turn to outside sources much for my builds, but when I have to do them solely on Digital Designer, at first, for the cost I find myself wanting help and encouragement. Pixels are much less satisfying than actual plastic. So, here is my latest airship. It is quite a departure to some of my other stuff, being much bigger in scale. Please tell me what you think. I need to know if it's worth continuing or if I should scrap it. The problem with it, really, is the cost of actual bricks. I would love any advice on how to finish it and also on if it's worth the price (I estimate it will be +100 US dollars). Comments/Criticism Appreciated!

I really like the shape you have, here.

I bet it would look better with minifigures and maybe some more traditional steampunk elements like greebling and maybe a taller smokestack.

Behold! The Airborne Jade! Originally a cargoship, this adventuring vessel was first commandeered by it's heroic pilot, Edvar Figgens, after he had an encounter with the Musina's Royal Air Police. Being an adventurer, Figgens of course did not pay for the airship but merely jumped into the controls while it's original pilot was eating a spicy sausage. Adventurers are not complete without a few scantily-clad females. Figgens has two. One was originally the mistress to a wealthy crime lord in Bulava. The other was part of the crew that manned the Airborne Jade when it was still a cargoship. Their names are unimportant, they are just garnishes, in the old heroic chauvinistic fashion. This was a really fun build. Please tell me what you think of it!

Quite an array. My personal favorite is the cyclops marine!

This is very good! The technique seems piece consuming, yet most definitely worth it!

The shape really works for me!

I really like the shape. Perhaps you could add more than just plates on the underbelly. On that same note, maybe you could use some SNOT or tiles for the wings instead of the open studs you have here. Also, do you happen to have any sketches of this, maybe that way we can see more of your vision for a final model.
