  1. BUT rubber will stop the car sliding all over the place as would potentially happen with no rubber. You need to balance the weight (mass) of the car with the amount of grip. Make the car a bit lighter and use rubber, and you could have the same results (speeds) as having a heavier car with no rubber but with better control.
  2. Definately. Dark blue is such a wonderful colour.
  3. Prisons aren't much better really. Unless of course the martians have been very, very bad.
  4. The legs for Takeshi's are good, as is the cockpit shield. But the weapons just look a bit odd. And the lack of controls makes it look a bit like Takeshi is just sat on there trying to wish it in the right direction. Ha-Ya-To's on the other hand is nice, if a little colourful.
  5. *wub* Notice how the wizard has some vials, etc on his legs *y* , and those skeletons actually look pretty menacing.
  6. Done well, that would look really cool.
  7. I presumed they were some sort of prison-sled-thing, but I see what you mean now. Who says humans are the good guys (look outside ;-) ). For one thing, the aliens were presumably there first.
  8. Nice. I like the cockpit, but then that's always been my favourite part of space stuff. The load lifter and cargo, like you said, are 'fun.'
  9. Go on then. You know you want to... EDIT: This isn't sarcasm. Exo attack, you know what I mean. ;-) And I now see that the link was in your sig.
  10. Has anyone heard about the upcoming UK magazine? If anyone's not heard it's due for release on 19th July by Titan. That means that it could be in a similar style to the Collector's Editions Batman Legends, Superman Legends and the up-coming Justice League Legends. However, since there is apparantly a free gift included, it may not be a CE, but rather just a regular magazine. Also, if anyone's interested, we're apparantly getting a Top Trumps pack too.
  11. Probably not much though (if at all), seeing as how close we're getting to the release date. Bio-fuel? Isn't that a bit, you know, cruel?
  12. Ah, thanks. Not sure how I missed that. Pretty funny, but I guess I knew what was coming seeing as how other people have commented and I've just sat here thinking "What scarecrow? Where?"
  13. That's because we're rubbish. I know it's a bit of fun, but every year, we proceed to pick the worst entrant. For example: Scooch. I'm sorry...
  14. Possibly. I have to say though, the calibre of writing for the new series has been excellent. Even Love and Monsters, which a lot of people thought was rubbish (I liked it). I'm one of those people that spots in-jokes and references to classic stories, seeing as how my knowledge extends beyond the rejuventation. I've not actually seen many of the classics, but I bought the 40th anniversary book the other year (fantastic book, btw). 'Genesis of the Daleks' (1975) is a brilliant story, not least because it featured the first appearance of Davros, creator of the Daleks.
  15. Yes, that's correct. The London Eye serves as a giant transmittor as the Nestene Conciousness outputs its control signal.
  16. :'-( I thought the trans orange looked a bit darker. Apparantly, it's a new tone. It's good to hear that the drill has independant suspension for each wheel. And now we know it's a TRU exclusive. The dropship sounds nice too. The only downpoint? The aliens. Not bad, but not as good as they could be.
  17. Nice. Instantly recogniseable, but clearly a new take. I like the basic frame design as well (click up one).
  18. The Ha-Ya-To one definately looks better than the Takeshi one. And it's a good way to get Ha-Ya-To without having to buy Golden Guardian.
  19. I've just noticed the pigs. Ha ha, cute. The purple stands out, but isn't glaring. It seems almost magical, which obviously compliments the wizards. And I like purple. And it might be really obvious, but where's the scarecrow? I can't see it.
  20. I love the ladder for the Naboo N-1. It's a great use of a piece. The fact that there's an escape pod is nice, seeing as how there should be one. It's not a bad design either. The interior isn't really worth bothering with though, seeing as how there's all the mechanisms for holding the sides on. At least, I think that's what it is.
  21. The more obscure colours are definately the best, especially purple and dark blue. Dark green isn't bad either. Sadly, they're often the colours with the least amount of pieces to their name.
  22. Really? I wouldn't have guessed. ;-)
  23. I'd say it was chilling rather than creepy. But there's something about gas masks, something... uncomfortable.
  24. Well, they're not exactly the scariest things I can think of! :-D
  25. Thanks. I've got a new face for the inside now. I've not photographed it yet.
