  1. It is a link, but you've not posted a link. As in, a link you can click on.
  2. I'd guess August, or possibly September. The tank-thing doesn't look that bad here. Still not to my liking, but certainly not bad. The Mobile Drilling Rig is still great. It's a pity we still haven't had a proper look at the bike though. Clearly, someone really hates the jellybean aliens. ;-)
  3. There's no link there, btw. We've seen pics of the sets before, but I'm not sure about these box pics. I like the orange car from the first one, and the second has a grand total of 7 cars. That's a lot. Well, 2 trucks, 5 cars and a limo.
  4. Making common mobsters/thugs ('criminal scum' ;-) ) would be pretty easy. Find some mean heads and give them an assortment of guns and knives. Talia (I know, not always a villain) would also be pretty simple to make, and I suppose you could use the black skeleton head for Black Mask.
  5. It's only Star Wars geeks who know what it is. ;-) Yes. The camera pans down over Felucia, we see all the flowers and stuff, then we see an AT-OT from a 3/4 behind view (the pic I posted earlier), then Aayla is shot, and we possibly see it again, walking behind where the Clones are (although it might be an AT-TE). It's not mentioned in the movie, but the Clones were on Felucia to stop Shu Mai poisoning the water supply.

    Teal Mech

Maybe that's the idea? You know, like a prototype in-story. Perhaps. Teal is such a great colour though.
  7. True, the classic Dalek is way better. But, the Dalek plan is a menacing one, and the consequences are menacing. Besides, I doubt the change will be permanent. I hope... On a slight side note, I picked up 6 classic Doctor Who videos (7 stories) yesterday. 50p each! Ambassadors of Death Arc of Infinity The Android Invasion Terror of the Zygons The Visitation/Black Orchid (twin pack) Frontier in Space (double video) Not a bad deal all told.
  8. Do you know what I forgot? To compliment you on a superb MOC. :-$ It's probably how TLC would do it. *y*
  9. So, 'Dalek's in Manhattan.' Good episode. First in-series mention of Dalekenium, I think (although I already knew about it). The cliffhanger ending was great with the Sec/Diagoras hybrid. The Tallulah thing was a bit of fun, and the Hooverville was handy seeing as how it's one of the elements for my History GCSE. Nice to see the blue suit again, too. Next weeks looks even better, what with the chases, the hybrids and the Dalek attack on the Hooverville! "The fin-al ex-per-i-ment has be-gun."
  10. Well, I'm hoping to do some more MOCs for my futuristic Earth storyline, and maybe a couple more Doctor Who MOCs to boot, after seeing the exhibition at Manchester Science and Industry the other day. I'm also very loosely working on a Transformers thing from a concept I came up with a while ago. However, it is a very loose WIP and hasn't really got off the ground much.
  11. Yeah, I'd heard that from BBCi. Unfortunately, it's later than a lot of other places. Time to put up the ol' spoiler shield! I read July instead of June. BBCi did say July, but it's obviously been rescheduled. Probably where the confusion arose. :-$ Well in that case, that's great news. We get to see it earlier that a lot of other countries. Yes!
  12. Again, an attempt at self-proclamation... ;-) I have some Doctor Who MOCs here. The Face of Boe is a little out of date now, as I've modified it after seeing it at Manchester Science and Industry. New pics will be up soon.
  13. There isn't a lot to cross-section though. Seeing as how there's no roof per se. Found you another pic too. It was glimpsed for a few moments in Episode 3 on Felucia.
  14. I dunno, it is a mother-ship. It needs some sort of payload, and there needs to be enough of a payload to actually have a point to carrying it.
  15. Well, it did. My computer's been at the shop for a week being fixed. :-| I guess my report on 'Gridlock' will just have to be a bit late. Not a bad episode all told. I might have a go at MOCing one of the cars. I guess we were right about Boe's secret then ;-) But on Confidential afterwards, Tennant said that Boe isn't wrong but neither is the Doctor. Hmm... perhaps the Master is hiding in a human body. That's one theory anyway. I was also thinking that perhaps Saxon is (somehow) The Doctor himself. That could fit with what Tennant said. Hmm... The Daleks next week. Has anyone seen the Radio Times cover for next week? The one with the human/Dalek hybrid. Cool! On a side note, I went to the Doctor Who exhibition at Manchester Science and Industry. Very good. Saw a lot of the costumes and stuff up close. Highlights include a Cyberman, the Empress of Racnoss and a Sister of Plenitude. Series 3 stuff is coming soon (after broadcast), so I may have to go back later in the year. It's open till 5th November if anyone's in the area. I've also adjusted my Face of Boe MOC after seeing him up-close. I'll upload him on my Brickshelf soon (I'll let you know).
  16. Cool. Kind of like pseudo-Steampunk. I'm glad to see I've inspired someone, and I look forward to seeing the results. I've also taken something from this contest. It gave me a chance to try building something I've not tried before. 1) a space fighter and 2) an organic vehicle. So that was good. I've also got feedback as well, and the chance to inspire someone else's MOCing- yours.
  17. I wouldn't be so sure...
  18. Ah. OK. I did search for it, but obviously not hard enough. In that case, feel free to close.
  19. They did. Brickshelf Gallery Eurobricks thread (MOC 2)
  20. I don't know if this has been posted before, but I've just found this: :-D Kinda cute.
  21. Exo-Force is a classic example of this. The slopes and such might prove useful elsewhere, but printing may well defeat the point. Parts packs and sets picked up on discount also work in a similar way. These sets may not be as easy to scavenge if parts are printed because they have to be used for their purpose, as Mr Hobbles said.
  22. They do make it look more 'jungle-y', presumably where my thought came from. ;-)
  23. "Are you my mummy?" Next weeks episode, 'Gridlock', is already on later cos of the football, but it's been decided that if the football goes into extra-time or penalties then Doctor Who will be postponed till the week after because 'Any Dream Will Do' (on after) is live. As if having it on later because of football isn't bad enough, it has to be out at risk of being postponed! >:-(
  24. As in, the trees and flowers? I presumed it was just to show the beach and the jungle. The horse is something that Kate saw in the jungle. I think I saw these somewhere the other day. They're both good and I especially like the wheelchair.
