Impressive exterior. It'll be a tiny auditorium though. Very steeply raked. Wonder if it has a projectionists room.

I like the look of the gorilla. Not sure what all the white squiggle decoration is about but hopefully they won't all have it.
-
yes, smallest one was already revealed. just a small room sized house and nothing more than a parts pack really. red walls and dark blue roof. next one is a tree house. red roof, white walls. fairly open plan. the house part is more of a shed. looks more like a platform on stilts than a tree house. biggest house isreally nice. white walls, red roof, tan window frames. half the front is glazed and the other half has a balcony over the garage. quite modern looking. it has a light brick and there's a small yellow car.

It isn't the CMF mould, this gorilla has a pointy head at the back like all the other Chima characters and little ears.

I'll buy the Dragon mountain or just Bricklink the dragon itself. Nothing else appeals to me.

Indeed. So, taking into account the design feature across the theme of hero vehicles splitting into multiple vehicles, and the fact the red team are the speed experts what we need is something that splits into several small craft capable of high speed and manoeuvrability able to combat mosquitoid swarm craft. I'm thinking some sort of carrier that deploys several small pod like craft from under either wings or a belly with bays the pods snap into. each pod would basically be a cockpit, engine and weapons. light, fast, accurate and nippy. The carrier would also have to be quite sleek and possibly also split in two to become heavily armed support craft. Providing covering fire for the pods. The robot drones would fly the pods while Billy took the faster, sleeker front end of the carrier and a crewmate or two took the rear section. In a sense the whole thing would be a swarm to fight a swarm. Think like the enemy, act like the enemy, beat the enemy.

I would vote as i genuinely like the idea. However as Disney now own the Muppets I think A: the licensing will be problematic and B: you're asking for non standard new parts and that's not going to go down well in the CUUSOO review process. I hate to say it but I think this project is going to fail.

Reds got shafted again. Damn you Lego, Damn you! That said, 70707 CLS 89 Eradicator mech looks alright and 70709 Galactic Titan is quite nice though it's a bit too similar in concept to 70705 Bug Obliterator. The alien vehicles do absolutely nothing for me. My only comment on 70708 Hive crawler is that my disgust regarding the red team's prejudicial treatment is such, decency won't allow me to say what I really think. The Crater crawler is pretty 'meh'. Not as good as the first wave. Though not too awful (besides the red team thing).

60011 Surfer rescue – Jet ski and surfer and an old school shark. Yay for sharks! Neat little pocket money set. Always nice to get more surfers. Hopefully the surf board has a nicely designed sticker. Because it’s unlikely to be printed. 60012 4x4 and diving boat – Pretty much like the last coast guard 4x4 and boat but nicer. Cleaner design and easily modified into a civilian car. Goes on my want list. 60014 Coast guard patrol – Lovely white ship hull. Excellent! If I don’t buy the set I’ll definitely Bricklink the ship hull. Nice looking set though with the mini helicopter and green speedboat/dinghy 60015 Coast guard plane – Fantastic set. Small fishing boat and cool seaplane. On my want list. 60019 Stunt plane – Looks nicer than the last one. Picture is a bit washed out but I expect I’ll get this set and modify it. 60020 Cargo truck – A rehash of 7733 Cargo truck but smaller. Already have two 7733 trucks so not getting this new one. 60021 Cargo heliplane – Is that a new nose section? Looks like a cool set. Going on my want list for sure. 60022 Cargo terminal – Just a rehash of 7734 Cargo plane. Not interesting enough to warrant buying. 60023 City starter set – Couple of nice minibus sized emergency vehicles. Bit of modifying and you have a nice postal van and an ice cream van. I’ll buy this. Probably get a couple. 60025 Grand prix truck – I don’t like racing cars or grand prix but this will be worth getting to modify into a more useful articulated delivery truck. 60027 Monster truck transporter – The monster truck is ugly just like real monster trucks and the transporter truck is what you’d expect of a long articulated flat bed truck. I think it’s ok for what it represents but doubt I’ll buy it.

60012 {Coast Guard 4X4 dive boat} Lego are big on 4x4's lately. Not that I'm complaining, I love 4x4's. 60014 {Coast Guard patrol} Hopefully another small boat. The more the merrier. 60019 {stunt plane} Not my thing really but I prefer smaller planes to the ginormous airport ones. 60020 {jackscrew cargo plane} If it opens at the front it's gonna be a biggie. I don't want another huge plane. Probably skip this one. 60021 {cargo terminal} Cool beans. Sounds good to me. 60023 {Lego City Starterset} Intriguing. Will wait for further info. 60025 {Grand Prix truck} Ferrari or other I wonder? Not my thing but my partner will want it. 60027 {Monstertruck transporter} Haha this sounds good. I suppose it depends on the monster truck itself but I'm interested for now. Thanks for the info whung.

There's no reason to assume they're females in the blue robes. They may well be but men also wear ceremonial robes. Just look at priests and druids etc. It may be that the lions in blue robes are the tribe elders or have some fancy title like 'Keepers of the Chi'. They all seem to have grey manes and grey muzzles so unless all lionesses have grey manes I'm going with the elders theory.

I really want to buy this theme but sadly my paltry income doesn't allow it. It might actually come to pass that I won't be able to afford any Lego in 2013. If nothing else I'll try and get some minifigs and horses. Update my Fort Legoredo set.
-
According to the 'legend' all the tribes were united and shared the power of the Chi in times gone by, but then the crocs got greedy and wanted more power which escalated into a split between the differing tribes and eventually war. Which is why they're constantly trying to win the Chi crystals from each other. I'm assuming that originally the kings and queens lead the tribes into battle but have now passed that duty to their offspring. The lion king and Crominus must be getting on a bit and near retirement age.

Wow, been a long time since I started this thread. I finally caught up with my brother this weekend and quizzed him about this build which is ongoing. Apparently He just didn't get round to making a web page to show it off but has told me that he'll send me proper stats and photos in the new year because the press have misquoted him. The video linked to in my opening post was only a rehearsal of the interview but because the satellite van didn't arrive in time to do a live interview they missed their link up and could only send the rehearsal tape. Here's a different article with a small number of photos. And yes, it contains a misquote.

Here it is, right here.

A girly spaceship would be hilarious. Maybe the Friends theme could provide one? A hot pink swooshy hotrod for space babes. Anyway, hoping my Billy Starbeam and robot arrive tomorrow. My actual postman is excellent but the postal service is pants. Everything always gets held up while temporary christmas staff try to locate the best items to steal. Maybe I'll be lucky and both sets of Billy and robot I ordered will arrive together............ Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseletthemarrivetomorrow

I can't watch these video reviews anymore. they drive me nuts. so much waffle. give me a photo based review any day. clearer detail and I don't have to listen to some egotist blathering on.

The polybag troopers look green and orange to me.
-
There's a NEW vehicle in the first vid. Looks like it's driven by Crominus and the Queen. Hi there Crominus!
-
Ooooooh brown, white AND black horses. Awesome. Love the female minifigs. Actually the only ones I don't like are the cavalry and Tonto. Nice to see the teepee and canoe back. New stetson in black as well as white. Good stuff. Thank you CM4S.

Technically they're the same image. I cut Ewald out of the set image on a white background and rebuilt the slope part that was covered by the throne as in the top image. box art tends to be more accurate than white background images though. **Changing the E of Eris to an A translates from Latin as 'point of the ear' **

Haha Rainy days are very boring.

This Ewald thing sent me looking for some of the other names. The best match I found for Equila is that of a female knight class character in the 'Heroes of Might and Magic IV' game. Eglor is an actual first name I found a woman born in 1901 with that name. And lots of internet users with Eglor as their username. Nothing really specific though. Eris is the ancient Greek Goddess of chaos/strife/discord, and also a dwarf planet beyond Pluto in our solar system. side note, translating from latin to english Equila Eris is 'Indeed will be'. meaningless but interesting. Worriz is an actual real last name and also an internet meme way of spelling worries. Wakz - 'The Wakz' are a turntablist duo. It's a mispelling of 'whacks' and 'wax'. Other than that I got nothing. Winzar is an actual last name. Seems like a corruption of windsor to me but Winzar is a real name. Wilhurt avenue is in Dallas, Texas, in the good old US of A. It's also an actual real first name. Am shocked! Crominus is a real last name Cragger is a brand of outdoor clothing, a cragger is a member of a carbon reduction action group. Craggers is a term for rock climbers. Crug is a Welsh word meaning 'hill'. According to the Urban dictionary a Crug is: "A skanky girl who usually wears crocks.most of them are fat but there iss some skinny ones." Crawley is a real last name. It's a real English town. Crawley is also a "Pythonic Crawling / Scraping framework intented to change the way you think about extracting data from the internet" According to the Crawley project. Crooler - Crooler.org is a free community where people can send and receive positive messages. Apparently. It's also a real last name. it's also a mispelling of crueller. Rizzo - Rizzo was a punk / riot grrrl band from Los Angeles, California. Rizzo is a Muppet rat. Rizzo is a female character in the stage musical 'Grease'. It's also a real last name. Razcal is just a corruption of rascal. Though there are plenty of musicians using Razcal as a name. There was also a Razcal soda in the 1980's "Juices & Spices. Raspberries & Limes. Nobody famous drinks it". Razar probably just a corruption of razor. Though Razar were a 1970's psuedo-punk band in the UK Bisley workwear make a range of clothes under the name Razar.. Rawzom - rawZoom is a command word in coding for Android phones. Rawzombie seems to be a popular username on the net. but Rawzom is probably a corruption of awesome with the obligatory R for raven added. Gorzan - well Gorzan is a Persian hip hop music band. Gorzan is also a contraction of Gorilla and Tarzan. Gorzan appears to be a real first and last name.

A quick google found this interesting Ewald nugget. Perhaps that's where the name originates.

Yeah, but no-one likes a plucked eagle.
