  1. It has this central ring that is so thick, the older driving ring just can't get inside it. Compare the central section with the regular 16t gear:
  2. I guess at least once they tried something other than "another 10 yellow construction vehicles". Variety is always welcome.
  3. 13 studs, all three of them.
  4. Thanks Jim! As for prices, I have only been able to confirm prices of the two pullbacks and the tracked loader which are $19.99. For some reason Lego is not releasing other prices at the moment.
  5. Sure, I don't see why it wouldn't. It's a bit thicker in the middle, though.
  6. Here's a playlist with all 10 new sets reviews: 42039: 42038: Added to the first post, too.
  7. I see what you mean. You're right, I usually think in 6-months intervals, if some piece was released in 1H2014 sets, I don't consider it new when found in 2H2014 sets. Good idea, thanks.
  8. I have added both Jangbrick's reviews to the first post. Not a bad idea, thanks. I'm still experimenting, e.g. this time I will be including complete parts list in each review, and show what pieces are left as spares once you're done building.
  9. Thank you. I'm still looking for ways to improve. I wish I could get this crystal image quality that Richard gets.
  10. I get my sets from Lego and they tell me when it's OK to show them. People who get their sets early from regular shop don't have any agreements with Lego to keep.
  11. Richard, I took the liberty of adding your review in the first post :) Thanks :) I always appreciate a good voiceover, but I think text makes videos more accessible. Firstly, you don't need sound, secondly more people understand written than spoken English. But that's just me.
  12. Try stalling a Micromotor with the pulley thing removed. It's dead instantly and for good.
  13. You must be talking of some other 9V system, then. I grew up in the 90's, Lego 9V system was all I could play with as a kid, and I remember it a bit differently: - motors were hard to come by at all, there were basically like 3 kinds of them and they didn't differ much from one another. None of them seemed designed specifically for some clear purpose. - the performance of most motors was very bad, some had no internal gearing at all - there was no reliable way to connect the motors to a Technic structure (studs only) and most motors had 1L axle as output - the famous Micromotor was so prone to failures that it's a miracle to get one in good working condition today - absolutely no remote control. Running after your MOCs at all times, hoping the wire won't get damaged. - the wires were quite easily damaged. I have a ton of 9V stuff and PF stuff. I have never damaged any PF wire, while roughly half of my 9V wires have serious problems. Today's PF system is far from perfect, but honestly, I would sell my kidney if it could get me one when I was a kid.
  14. Still waiting for it to work on Android 4+...
  15. Well, the good news is that I should have all reviews on time. I was worried a bit about making 9 reviews in two weeks. But it looks like I'll make 10 or 11 of them with some MOCing in between. Sleep is for the weak ;)
  16. Easily a dozen, here: http://sariel.pl/book2 Amazon has one quite exhaustive review, too: http://www.amazon.com/Incredible-LEGO-Technic-Trucks-Robots/product-reviews/1593275870/
  17. Sorry, I don't know and I can't check until I take the sets apart.
  18. Luckily, every hamster comes with integrated all-around airbag of fluffiness ;)
  19. I wasn't sure at first, but that part right after H74oH5Iv64rQbLbG7RbGoaDqKd1qx7Sj1NZ96Ufvigfki/ritE8EQ2KtsHBFXG really got to me :)
  20. It makes Fiat Multipla look pretty.
  21. Working hard with my crew here ;) (yup, something green is sitting under the cover).
  22. Not bad, thanks. I've built 8 out of 9 sets (my fingers hurt) and filmed about half of review for each of them. I'm also roughly halfway through with editing. I should make it on time with all A-models, and I guess a couple of B-models will follow, say, a week later. My apartment has sets, camera batteries, boxes and instructions strewn all over it, but oh well :) If I remember correctly, YouTube uses California timezone, so I will be publishing the videos on 0:01 AM December 1st California time.
