  1. Stickers these days often refer to the set's designer. 67 may simply be Uwe Wabra's year of birth. Consider the 42040 Fire Plane set with "1980" on a sticker.
  2. 1. Sure 2. No, I highly doubt it.
  3. No Panhard rod. There are three 5L suspension arms with towballs connecting it to the chassis: two on the sides, one on top. That's sufficient to eliminate the sway.
  4. I'm happy to report that this thing is a delightful change from the awful 42070, especially in terms of suspension and details. It's like these two sets were designed on separate planets.
  5. Sorry, medium blue looks like old pants, medium azure looks like neon pants ;) I fully agree with Jim that dark azure looks great. Too bad there is actually not that much variety in dark azure pieces that come with 42070. Also, as a person trying to build something with medium blue, I was severely disappointed that 42070 offers zero help in that regard.
  6. And I already told what is this year's promotion: get 42070, get a free slap in the face ;)
  7. These are indeed live axles, not pendular ones. Pendulars can only oscillate left/right, the 42069's axles can also go up and down.
  8. Your magnificent photos make anything hard to dislike ;)
  9. I expect my 42069 review around Tuesday/Wednesday. I'll make sure to test which wheels fit on it.
  10. The 42070's booklets weighs about 760 grams. One could argue that this is due to oversimplification and adding 2-3 pieces per step.
  11. Plaques? Better: buy 42070 and get a free slap to the face ;)
  12. I think it looks pretty nice in real life. It kinda grew on me.
  13. I think modability is really low, the differentials are very difficult to remove and the motors and clutch gears are buried very deep inside the chassis. It's difficult to show the gearbox for the same reason. Seems that you'd need to strip it down almost completely to do any serious modding.
  14. I really, really like the looks and the crane's load capacity is amazing. But driving it outdoors has been a truly painful experience.
  15. In my experience it's quite similar to the gearbox in 42055. Same number of motors, same weird solution with two selectors depending on each other, same inability to perform any other functions while driving.
  16. I've been up for like 20 hours and almost cooked my computer, so I'll just leave it here and write more later:
  17. I'll just leave it here and to go sleep. Thanks for waiting:
  18. I'll start tomorrow but I wouldn't expect the review to be ready sooner that, let's say, Tuesday. It's got more pieces than 42070.
  19. Go to sleep, YT is saying almost 3 hours left to upload.
  20. The 42070's turning circle is 2.1 meter. I've measured it. My review is about 10 minutes away from finally being rendered (4k be damned) and then it will take a while to upload.
  21. 90% done editing, having a supper break. I'd say 3 more hours to go, all things considered.
  22. I think it's the first case but I'm unable to confirm without pulling one from inside the 42070 and measuring it with a caliper.
  23. Getting back on topic: new vs existing differential gear. Again, it's a VERY subtle difference, it's actually easier to feel it than see it. Perhaps Bricklink will consider it a simple recolor, not a new piece. The other side of the gear is identical in both versions.
  24. Respectfully, Luxembourg is one of the three countries in the world with highest purchasing power per capita, right with Switzerland and Lichtenstein. I'm not saying you can't complain about the prices, but on average you can afford 4.5x as much as people in my country. If it takes 2 hours of your work to earn this set, then it takes 9 hours of mine. I hope I'm not offending anyone but I always feel a little strange when people from the most developed countries complain about Lego being pricey. It is pricey, no doubt about this, but it comes off a little insensitive.
