LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Shroffy123 replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As mentioned above there are dots on the bottom of the packages that represent what the minifig is. However, they are really hard to see, at least for me. -
Any more news, or pictures, of the Windmill set? Last I read there was a grey horse with the set. Very cool.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

The Toys R US in my area (Michigan) has Series 3, picked some up over the last two days. Sadly my luck is horrible :( Even with the Code sheet. Thinking I was picking out the Elf and Samurai I got the following: 2 baseball players, 2 tennis players, 1 rapper, 1 gorilla suit, 1 (only 1) Elf, and 1 sumo. Although Toys R us is having a sale on Legos, the minifigs still sold fast. I hope when I get back to Oregon, there is a Lego store there, I'll be able to find more. Otherwise its going to cost a lot to pick up a few more elves and samurai ... Last I checked on Ebay, the avg price was 14.00US -
I really like what you've done. The colors look well, and the overall design gives off a nice cozy feel. One question, where is the adventurer?? Nice Job!

I think its okay to post picture. A picture of the new Atlantis set has been posted. -
Wow. My local Lego store released Series 2 minifigs today. The store opened at 10AM, and when I got there at Noon, they were down to their last box ... I sadly, was only able to find 1 :(

Hey everyone, just a heads up (this may be old news), I picked up an Advent Calendar today at the LEGO store in Oregon USA. Looks like they are now out :)

This set looks great. It'll make a great addition to my castle community. What I'm most excited about ... there is a Brown Horse!!
-
6086 Black Knight’s Castle. Its look is simply priceless. It has four knights, and many foot soldiers. The the Black Knights are just the coolest looking of all Castle Themes.

I keep coming back to this post and just simply stare in amazement at this minifig. I really hope I am able to get my hands on them. TLG has done a terrific job with the detail, weapons, etc. I hope this minifig is a taste of what will come in the future for TLG ... A Greek sub-theme :)

I remember reading that the Kingdom Advent Calendar was suppose to start appearing in Aug/Sept. You are lucky to have seen it already! Hopefully it will start popping up where I live soon.

Thank you for the info, and the detailed review! I really hope I can get my hands on these figs. Now, I just need to figure out what type of structure I should build for them :)

This minifig looks great. I really hope that I'll have an opportunity to pick them up. I was unable to get the series 1. Are they only found at Lego STORES? I never found them at my local TRU.

Robin Hood minifigures MOC
Shroffy123 replied to Mr Spielbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
The Sheriff and Robin Hood look exceptional great! Color Scheme and everything. I don't think you've strayed away from the myth. I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, that Robin Hood was original portrayed in myth as more aggressive and medieval, as opposed to the Hat with feathers. Nice Job! -
Grouping Factions into a Super Faction of Castle
Shroffy123 replied to Cpt. Dan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I enjoy army building, however, I do not like to have very massive amounts of minifigs of one particular kind. So I've found it very beneficial to group my different factions into one "super" faction. It allows for each solider in my army to have his own unique look. With that sad; I group my factions based on the heredity of their shields. So my crusaders, royal knights, and the new Kingdom RED faction are considered one large faction. My Black Knights, Dragon Masters and the new GREEN faction represent another single faction. I then will group, or ally, my factions based on what I think looks like a good color scheme. So e.g., my Black Knights faction is allied with my Fright Knight faction, and my Lion Faction is allied with my Crownie faction. -
Minifg collectors series 2 pics and barcodes
Shroffy123 replied to Superkalle's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm really wanting the Spartan. Where are these minifigs found? I never saw Series 1 at my local TRU. Are they only available online or at Lego Stores? -
Very true. However, on Brickipedia, the calender is listed as coming out in August/September. I know some members have gotten other Kingdoms sets before the actual release dates. Just curious if anyone has seen them in stores yet. Nonetheless, here is hoping for August/September instead of October :)

Has anyone seen the ADVENT CALENDAR in stores yet? I remember reading somewhere that it was expected to hit stores in August/September. Just curious if anyone has gotten an early release of it. Thanks!

Wow it looks great! I had the same idea as you, and used a second 7947 set to enclose the structure. However, my additional tower (in the back right corner) is quite different then yours. Also, (however I think you did a much better job with the front section of the structure) I kept the integrity of the original structure by not modifying the front tower. I kept it the same, the tower and prison, and placed a second tower (not as high, as the front) in the back right corner to be the Green Wizards area. I also had the same idea by having a stair case leading from the ground floor to the walls. Downstairs I have the throne room, treasure area, and armory. Superb jobs, and I concur this is what this set SHOULD have been. I wish I had a camera so I could post; but, sadly I don't. I look forward to seeing other members modifications to this really good set!

I am sorry if this has been asked before, but has anyone ever created a moc of Zheng He's massive ship? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treasure_ship Not only was his main ship massive, but his entire fleet was larger than all of Europe during the early 15th century. It would be amazing to see a MOC if someone had created one.
-
I wish I had a camera to take pictures, but I added two of the outpost attack towers to the castle; one on the tower, and the other on the back of the castle. It added another dimension to the castle.

Crusaders [Lions] or Black Falcons? Lions or Dragons?
Shroffy123 replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
My all time favorite are the Black Knights. But among those you suggest, I would have to go with the new Dragon knights. -
I remember this was the last theme I collect as a child before I gave all my legos to my younger relatives.
