  1. i think we got a cherry picker as a flagship model a little joke, there are enough cherry pickers for years. a articulated Volvo Dumper in white with 94,3x38R tires, very long pneumatics, all wheel drive, fake engine, remote controlled pneumatic valves, Servo control for steering and radio control. but we could only guess, lego will go surprising us. does anyone a year ago know, except tlg, that will come a unimog as the flagship model? maybe we will get a new space shuttle, a fully RC 5-axle concrete pump or something completely different. a VW Samba maybe?
  2. thanks i have not tried it, but i think there is no problem with motorizing the full drivetrain. on book one, step 23 you can see that the axle which is assembled in understep 6 is longer than needed. attach an XL at this point and you will have a powered 4x4 with a powered fake engine. maybe there is a need to raise the torque with a 24/8 setup in the portal hubs. the steering motor could be placed in the cab.
  3. i hope you like it and i hope the two bar/30 PSI wich delivers my two pumps are enough to tilt the cab when it is ready.
  4. welcome on eurobricks. have you a link for us?
  5. Next lot of pictures Changed positions of the panhard rods to get a better axle movement modified frame to get enough space for the front PTO motor gear reduction for the steering Front bumper with pneumatic connectors more will come
  6. the original 8110 is imho not right equipped for attachments so i must going deeper with my modifications. the mechanical PTOs getting their own motors. one for the front and one for the rear PTO. controlled from the left and right side of the vehicle The rear end gets 2 pneumatic connectors to control a cylinder without external valve, the front four to control two cylinders more will come...
  7. the 8110 needs imho more changes. i list some points design chassis is wider than cab and platform....................................solved Turning circle is to big..................................................solved technical Key features front and rear mechanical PTO could not work at the same time.............in progress only one pneumatic PTO on front and rear..................................in progress no pneumatic and mechanical PTO at the same time..........................in progress no working steering wheel.................................................in progress no slideable steering wheel...............................................maybe no Control of the add-ons (snowplow ....) from cab........................in progress i hope you understand me
  8. great mocs and changes needs time. no rc from me, but a few big modifications. this was only the beginning
  9. look at book two, step 19 if the ball pin is in the correct hole. it looks as would it be in the wrong hole. if not it must be an other problem with the pushrod
  10. i know that amazon.co.uk ships to germany, so i think amazon.de ships to whole europe too. but iam not sure
  11. Thanks! I think the version with long wheelbase should be no problem. and for a tilting platform is enough space
  12. at amazon.de it is currently at 152€. maybe you can order it there
  13. I have done some little modifications. Cab and platform now have the same width with the chassis The platform is now 2 studs longer and 4 studs wider the widening gives me the possibility to remove the 3/4 pins without chassis/Tire colliding The Cab has now a locking mechanism
  14. you made my day Finally i have finished my first 8110 and i must say with the designprocess was going something wrong. The cab is minimum 2 studs and the platform 4 studs too narrow. If you look from above, the cab and flatbed looks like from a too small scale. i can understand if the designer want a chunky look with a wide Trackwidth, but if i call a modell like the original, it should look like the original thing. And not that the mudguards are wider than the platform. picture source much things to optimize
  15. i am currently working on it and i love the tires but not the turning circle btw. all guys in germany, look at the supermarket Globus. this morning i could bought one of the 8110 (189,99€). the 8109 is available too
  16. why not mount the motor between the tires? it would not need any weak gears on pivot points
  17. Thanks guys, now amazon must only send me my two mogs :cant wait:
  18. Thanks again Dluders it seems for me that it is roundabout 25 studs wide and my U 2450 Cab would fit.
  19. Hi guys, i have a silly question: i know that the cab of the 8110 is with mudguards 21 studs wide, but how wide is the width at the tires? Why i ask? I have sized up a U400 blueprint to fit to the 94,8 tires and the u400 print was 24 studs wide at the tires and mudguards. If it is narrower than 24 studs i have a good idea for improvement.
  20. which size should have the Car? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=471798 or http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=472779 or http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=468753 or something like this? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=458760 or are you interested in trucks? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=383555
