"I don't know, Sir Pigley, but I don't think there's anything I can do to stop it." "I don't think I want to watch this any more. Should we just leave them and follow the compass?"

XenoMono, while I appreciate you taking back your vote for me, I think that my accusations had their intended effect. I poked you and Brickelodeon, as well as Captain Settle, and while Brickelodeon has defended herself (himself?), and Captain Settle has been silent (surprise!), you attacked me straight out. At this point, I'm most suspicious of you and Settle, but if he's scum he's not as dangerous in thread as you. Vote: Xenophobic Monoxide (Xenophobic Monoxide) Vote for the scummiest! Day Four -
Excerpt from my shop.lego.com receipt.... My wife loves the Christmas (Winter Village) sets, so I get to buy them every year. This is the first year I've been able to sneak the advent calendars in, but she was adamant: no Friends™®.

"How did I know she would say that.... bloodthirsty mage," Matthias remarks to Pigley and Ruffers.

I've reviewed XenoMono, Brickelodeon, and CapnSettle's posts... here are the posts that I think are interesting (could indicate scum). XenoMono: Brickelodeon Cap'n Settle All three have said they were suspicious of Mencot, and all three have voted (somewhat) along the bandwagon. Anyone want to respond to these? -
Matthias briefly considers setting off in the indicated direction, but his sense of... something or other holds him back. "Lady Nerwen," he says, 'I think Lady Fenral has a good direction for us."

At the least he's a bandwagon-jumper; at the worst, scum. -

Here are some of Mencot's posts from Day Three that I think are relevant to why he was killed. He posted some other things and defended his miller claim, but these are the posts where he points fingers. Great but that doesn´t explain why you have been away and not posted anything of value almost the entire game! -
Welcome to Heroica, Richila! ...We have our first "Friends" character....

Lots to think about everyone; here's the voting patterns. -
Concur.

"Just do it," Matthias urges her, quoting the famed Gnome cobbler Bill Phil Nike. "Use the Compass to find Aventine."
-
Wow, pretty quiet. No one has much to say I guess until we know if we picked the right one to lynch or not. I think that's what we're all doing right now, Goliath, but I think Brickelodeon means what she said: we have every reason to believe that Lord Duvors is scum at this point, and there is no one any of us would rather have lynched today.
-
Matthias slams the peashooter muzzle-first into the dirt and turns his back on the fight. "I still can't believe you're doing this," he says, powerless to stop the fight.
-
"Do what she wants and we'll get to Aventine?! What assurance do we have of that?" Matthias cries. "She admits she's our enemy, and yet here you all are, doing her bidding and attacking our friends. Or if not our friends, at least our fellow workers in Master Aventine's plan, whatever that may be."
-
Is it still a bandwagon if we're each voting from our own convictions? I think we've all got pretty good reasons without needing a bandwagon. I agree. I go off to work for the morning, expecting to come back and cast a vote at lunch after more people have given their thoughts, and we have a lynch already. Oh well. Vote: Lord Duvors (Lord Duvors) This is the first time I've really felt like we are lynching the right person. And if Lord Duvors does prove to be scum, I think we can trace some others pretty easily. Additionally, here's the voting pattern for all three days in one post. Vote Pattern

I think the miller claim seems less suspicious than the out-and-out claim of serial killer. Some of us were thinking there might be a vigilante, but Kintobor you seem pretty dead set on the idea that it's a serial killer. Care to elaborate on what makes you so sure? Maybe you know something the rest of us don't?

"Oh, I trust that Zelphie knows exactly where Master Aventine is," the gnome replies, "and I trust that these two striped fools are very misled. We already know there's one shapeshifter working for Chauncey, and if these two - and Thistlethorp, another face we trusted when we shouldn't have - were all working for our employer, how do we know they weren't working for 'M' in disguise, and really just working for Lord Chauncey? It seems to me that we're about to murder two gravediggers, simply because we don't know where the man we're supposed to be protecting is, and we don't really know that even doing that will help our cause. Count me out."
-
You just said exactly the opposite. Which one of these statements did you actually mean? That might be true... adventurer1 has been pretty quiet recently. 21 posts on Day One, but only 5 on Day Two. Disappearing act to stay out of the public eye? Since Richila is scum, and she was known for being a low poster from the beginning, that may mean that the scum are staying quiet more or less on purpose, so we should be wary of those who are staying too quiet. Day 1, Bottom 5 Posters Day 2, 5 Posts or Fewer Richila is consistently at the bottom, but I think it's kind of cluttered otherwise. The game has been quieter overall after Day One (432 replies vs. 190). * That should say "Day Two, Bottom 5 Posters", sorry.

"Finishing your job?!" the gnome explodes, rounding on the whole group. "What do you mean, finishing your job?! You have no idea what you're doing, any of you. We are tasked to save Aventine, and yet here we are, trusting blindly in the very woman who kidnapped him! Can't you all see how ridiculous this is? You say you're 'finishing the job,' but you're attacking people who've admitted they were working for our employer. At the request of the people who are working against us." As his words pour forth, Matthias regains a little composure. "That fairy fed us a whole string of information, some of it true: Keith and Sam are working for Master Aventine. Why should we believe any of the rest of it? We know Zelphie's not on our side, and we know Keith and Sam are. Why on earth are you attacking them?"
-
So @Richila was scum... good work, whoever made that choice. Nothing to learn from Stinky Dave's death, except that it makes @Mencot look slightly suspicious. Who was Scaevola (publicly) suspicious of? Captain Settle and Lord Duvors (linked list of posts is not exhaustive, but I think it's representative). It sounds like at one point Scaevola was also suspicious of Brickelodeon, but maybe not anymore; I think Captain Settle and Lord Duvors are the best bets. Anyone else have any theories? Know/remember anything else Scaevola was talking about? I concur on both counts.
