Actually he didn't just give us his "3 suspects," but his reasons, for what they're worth (which the subsequent discussion says was "not much, but it's only day one"). As for you, I think there are two options, since no one else has claimed Miller: 1) There is no Miller, and you are extremely lucky scum (and playing extremely fast and loose) 2) You're the Miller I'm inclined to believe 2), the odds are in your favor, and you haven't made me suspicious yet.

I think this is an interesting exchange, because by my count, XenoMono is the most talkative person so far, and Goliath seems to have pointed the finger a bit. Richila still hasn't said anything, more than 24 hours into the game. There are a few others who have low post counts, but I don't think any of them are that suspicious. At the very least, Richila hasn't even tried to be helpful. It might be too early to do this, but at least it will get things moving and maybe when everyone else wakes up we can have some real discussion. Matthias is stunned, not by the Paladin's words, but by the mage's admission that she intended the chaomancer to survive the blaze.

Overhearing the discussion between Paladin and Bard, Matthias shakes his head silently. Sometimes the King's Justice needed to be served, but it was never pretty. Not for the first time, the ranger wonders how the Free Islands have gotten by for so long without a king.

Matthias adds the gold to his bag and absentmindedly munches the cookie, not noticing his power increase as he ponders the Chaomancer's shout. The gnome has no qualms about Berthadhiell's decision to end the threat Valentine posed... but he wonders if an enormous fire was the way to go about it.

Matthias is shocked to see Seraphiel flash out of existence - he never even saw the angel appear! Shrugging his shoulders, he continues doing nothing. Whoops! Completely missed it!

Matthias continues to enjoy destroying the Chaos Beasts, but upon appraising the Master Beast he decides that discretion is the better part of gnomish valor and does nothing.

Matthias crows a low laugh in satisfaction as the beasts begin to fall, and turns his attention to the Rudimentary Beast. Gauging his options, he fires one shot, and prepares to fire another if no retaliation occurs. "I don't know all the history between Lady Alexis and 'XX'," the ranger admits, "but she's a much more experienced hero than me, and I have fought alongside Lady Nerwen in the past, so I have trusted their judgement." Matthias nods respectfully towards Calmcacil. Between the sight of Fenral doing... whatever it is she's doing with each beast in turn, and feeling awesome from his Tripleshot , Matthias completely forgets to even fire his second round. Shaking himself back to reality, he realizes that Zoot's Beast B is about to crumble anyway, so he fires at Valentine and Zoot A instead.

Howdy again Flipz! Zoot A should be blinded now, I think. I enjoyed the Minecraft crack. As the angel descends, Matthias pumps his fist in the air. "Good show, Lady Calmcacil, Master Malty. To battle!" The gnome attacks Zoot B twice.

Matthias swaps his Dapper Hat for the Quickdraw Quiver and attacks Zoot B. "Malty, make that lucky chant a good one!"
