I think LEGO is ever increasingly giving people the ability to make whatever armies they want by increasing the number and types of lego weapons and bricks available. For example, there are some great detailed headgear these days, I am not sure where some come from but I think from the Adventurers and SWs themes, that look exactly like Islamic headgear Mr OB Laden and friends wear. I am not sure it is coincidence but I am sure many kids are glad they can make these armies for their playing around. I think it is now possible to make good WWI/II, Iraq war mocs (especially minifigs) , something that was alot more difficult with the pieces in 1980s.

Yea they are!!! I like the Creator house though, some good bricks for MOCs.

It would seem a bit stupid for LEGO to release the catalog before the Christmas spending spree as it would cause some people to wait off spending their money and perhaps even more importantly disappoint kids and parents who have to tell their child that Santa can't provide them with stuff in this catalog until next Xmas cos the Elves went on strike. I think you should wait for January before checking shops for catalogs.

Yeah, most of my motorbikes, shields, roadsigns etc are broken :-( When I was about 11 I tried to fix some using some type of glue. It didnt work. Anyone know of a glue or somethings that could be used to fix some of them?

Who are these strange people who live in this vault? Are they trying to wait until the lego sets are antiques to sell for lots of money, or do they just want to keep unopened boxes of all sets ever made. I hope they have fire sprinklers. The sea is better than the boat but the boat is very good.

Grevious, Are those legomen in your pic the unemployment line in your city?

You need to make some car factories so. You must have got one hell of a "bunch" of tiles :-D One thing I noticed about posters making a MOC of a US city, there is always a fire station in this style and there are always air conditioning units!!! Nevertheless, I do like the ACUs out the window, I never made them myself, I would like to but they aren't realistic here :-(

This is a great model no doubt but the story is great too. Look forward to reading more. Will you break this MOC up to make other models for the story?

mdoyle, that drain on your street is great! It will be difficult though to make lots of roads using bricks no? Hope you can do it.
