There is a notorious pirate captain who lives in town. His name is Captain Kirk Redgrave, and he once served with the notorious Captain Cookie before he was captain. However, this captain has been successful enough to have a cozy little house built. Of course, he HAD to make the house look scary. The house is the color of blood. His flower garden has been unkept, and human skulls are placed on either side of the door. Inside his house sits an ominous hourglass, as a reminder that your time will run out if you take his treasure map. He eats stolen turkey legs and croissants, and drinks only rum. His house is lit by skull lanterns. Captain Kirk, himself, is not a polite individual and has a short temper. He is not someone you'd like to greet on the street. He wears a black cloak with a black hat. The only thing that would make him scarier is if he had a black beard. Son, that is why I always ask you not to run wherever with whomever you please. There are dangerous fellows that live here, and you need to be careful. Dad, is that entire story true? Yes, now go to sleep.

I finally got around to memorializing the late Zorro with a small monument. With BoBS providing ulterior motives for posting these types of builds and using this as part of a collaborative pirate town standard, I decided to finally make one. Continuing the build standard, I figure this small build will remain a part of my settlement. The woman is supposed to be feeding the sea gull, but it looks like she's under attack at this angle. Well anyways, here it is. There are a couple of nice benches to sit at if you'd like to feed the gulls. (watch out for the aggressive ones. ) Hmm... Not any better here. She still kind of looks like she's getting attacked. At least you can see the that there's something bread-like in her hand. I'll have to move that sea gull back when I get a chance. Here's a closer view of the black statue with the black rapier and fancy new cape from the highway man. Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.

It's better now. With the bloated numbers, I had added too many free properties. Once they're removed. we should be good.

The accounts were finished getting fixed yesterday. The Weirdness is gone. ...hopefully. You're good to go. You don't need to fill out any forms. I revised your original submittal.

The fort is licensed as a small right now. I can change it to a medium if you'd like.

The property license sheet and the summaries stopped talking to each other. I'm in the process of restoring this connection.

DUPLO Mysteries of The White House - what's your opinion?
Capn Frank replied to AFOD's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Please read through the Site Guidelines. Eurobricks is not a platform for users to only promote their Ideas. You may present Ideas on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the Ideas entry. Don't be too shouty about Ideas, and this topic will likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!. I recommend editing the first post with some of the background information you gave in your Idea, and please do not make posts just to ask for more support. -
Done! Done! The proverbial pain has been updated for the last two months.

I agree. No, the rule wasn't resended. I just haven't done it this month yet. It should have been done last month too. Hmm... I should check if I did it last month.

The Empire of Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion
Capn Frank replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
No issues here. Troops like those would look awesome. -
Excellent arrangement. Nice little vessel. Hopefully it survives Hurricane Preschool-Child.

There were two medium forts with the same URL. I had assumed you wanted the license to expire and for ESL to handle the upkeep.
-
You've been added. You've only submitted a build for this build. Both accounts were added... ...and I didn't rush.

I forgot to check this thread until now. The September 2017 Account Summary is done.

Now that's a nice looking building. I'm definitely going to copy that bell tower design. Thanks for sharing. -
Lego 60th Anniversary Rumoured Pirate set predictions
Capn Frank replied to TeufelHund's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm pretty sure it's the 30th anniversary of Pirates in 2019. They could do a BSB. ...again. -
@lizarDON I hid your duplicate topics. Please don't make multiple topics about the same thing. This topic has also been locked. Please don't use Eurobricks as a billboard. You may certainly post links to your site in your signature, but don't join just to advertise your site. See the Site Guidelines for more information.

In the early years of the 16th century, to combat the rising tide of religious unorthodoxy, the Pope gave Cardinal Ximinez of Spain leave to move without let or hindrance throughout the land, in a reign of violence, terror and torture that makes a smashing film. This was the Spanish Inquisition...

The name has been fixed. Everyone who owns ships that they paid for and were used in the at one of the last two MRCAs should have received a message about their refunds. The first Class 2 or Class 1 still will be free, so no one was reimbursed their first free ships. Ships not used in the last two MRCAs can still be reimbursed. If any ships were missed in the reimbursement, please let me know. Phredit: The August Summary is ready. August 2017

Sorry for missing the edited post. What is the link for the topic? This topic didn't have your name on it, but the link. Should that property license be under your name?
-
Your ideas link has been removed. Please read through the Site Guidelines. Your first post has broken multiple Site Guidelines. Thank you.

[OL - FB] Lavalette Government Building
Capn Frank replied to KotZ's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This is a great looking government building. The light grey columns with the tan walls look good. I like the windows you used. I'll have to try using some of mine in a similar fashion. I would add more detail to the roof such as chimneys and little fence detail around the edges of the flat portions of the roof. -
The previous monthly summaries included expired fort licenses. You had a fort license that changed ownership that was being included in the previous settlement size totals. The same thing occurred in Fuerto Unido (spelling? ). You settlement size is still at 9, and the settlement is still a hamlet. Your pay should have been 5 DB's. Was that a 20% bonus? You're next @Capt Wolf

A couple of ships at M/S Museet for Søfart Summer of 2017
Capn Frank replied to Anders T's topic in Pirate MOCs
I love that you built the HMS Ontario and the Golden Hind out of real bricks and they're on display in a museum. These are some top notch MOCs. Great job. I really would like more pictures when you get the opportunity.
