  1. There are 12. Two of them had more than the settlement name, but the island named where they're located.
  2. Everything is automatic if you entered the only Settlement name correctly. Otherwise, I'll have to go back and revise what you entered. Your entries should be fixed now and back calculated.
  3. July 15 MRCA Phred - Benefactor | 3F | 30 troops (10 troops for each class, +5 for each crew) Phred - 10 Troops | - | 10 troops So it's: May 31st and July 15th blackdeathgr - Dagger | - | 10 troops
  4. The Independent Grand Duchy of Prio has finally relayed news for why there has not been news of this conflict. An uneasy truce has arisen. With the weather showing no sign of improving, and campsites inundated by mud, Mardier has decided to withdraw many of their forces, which has prompted other interested parties to do so as well. The Duchy of Prio is still claimed officially by Mardier, but all parties involved have been unable to enforce the claim one way or another. Mardier still has forces on the Serpent's head, and those that are staying have begun fortifying, and digging in for the long haul. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that Mardier will return, and the Duke will once again call for aid... With the independence of Prio temporarily secure, the Grand Duchy would like to reimburse the parties involved. Please list the vessel name, the vessel's class, the of number troops, and what MRCA's you reserved your vessels and troops by respondnig to this topic or in the Prio Channel PM. MRCA's occurred May 31st July 15th
  5. BoBS Standard Time is GMT -11. You've got plenty of time.
  6. Your 4A entry has been fixed. Again.
  7. I fixed this a while ago, but I forgot to let you know it was fixed. The Account Summary for September 2016 is done. It took a lot less time to make as usual especially on a very slow internet connection. Either Google Sheets had a major update and fixed all their issues, or there are some errors in the sheet.
  8. Do you use Internet Explorer? It doesn't like the full editor very much.
  9. You are correct BrickCurve.
  10. You should make a dedicated topic of this in the Pirate Forum. Maybe with a helpful link to the convention's site. I would love to make an announcement of this in the Pirate Forums. Unfortunately the lull in trade continues until at least Sept. 15th with Ska still not available.
  11. Brethren of the Brick Seas members have been creating some great looking ships using alternative techniques without pre-fab hulls. CB4 built The Nemesis using is own SNOT technique. An unnatural calm has fallen over the Brick Seas as this sailing ship lies in harbour. Dannylonglegs built The Singsong using another SNOT technique altogether. This small merchant vessels trades everything from fine Oleander wine and pepper, to purple and blue murex dye from the coast of New Oleon. Come checkout other great builds in Brethren of the Brick Seas in the Pirate Forum.
  12. I do not think so. We do have certain expectations for how members are supposed to post. I recommend you check out the Posting Standards: A Message for All Members Topic, which is linked in the Eurobricks FAQ. Such comments you made below do not add to the discussion and aren't needed. Just provide your response after you've read TalonCard's response, and you do not need to have a large quote for a short response. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a private message.
  13. Oleon's two other settlements don't have mayors yet, so updated the post.
  14. Merged with previous related topic. You need to learn to use the search engine.
  15. The hull is fantastic! It's great to see you building sailing ships. My Resurrection 2F uses the same tile for a figurehead.
  16. Of the five current Oleon settlements, three do not have mayors. If you build enough in one of those settlements, you could be appointed. I would encourage you to work in current Oleon settlements. There are benefits to being in the empire's good graces.
  17. An exception of that rule will be made for this competition. Mayorships won in this competition won't count towards your current limit of one.
  18. Background The Pirate Collaborative Layout was great at Brickworld 2016. Members from EB and WisLUG contributed. I had made my own town. However, I can't build much larger without compromising quality. At Brickworld 2016, I saw a Pirate micro-layout of a series of Octagons and Squares. It was at the table for the official Brickworld 2016 Pirates Collaboration. This build reminded me of Tedbeard's Port Brick Standard (Flickr). For Brickworld 2017, I would like a collaborative town containing builds from multiple members for one large town using a combination of Tedbeard's Port Brick Standard with the shapes of the micro-pirate layout. Top View Again, this standard is a series of Octagons and Squares. An equal number of Octagons and Squares are needed. Public will view the display from the top of the image, which means the fronts of the buildings will be seen. Squares are 18X18 studs. Octagons are 30X30 studs. Each side of the Octagon is 18 studs long. An Octagon and Square is 48 studs long, which allows standard base plates to be used. The "road" is six studs wide. Light gray is the base, and I will be using 1X1 round plates or tiles to provide texture. The configuration of the roads needs to be maintained. This configuration allows mini-figures to travel through the entire layout. The road only needs to be six studs wide at the edge. Constant roadway widths are discouraged. Overview My current goal is to have three rows of Octagons and Squares with an unspecified width. Each row back will be four bricks taller creating a terrace shape of the layout. All of the builds should be easily viewable in the front and back. The idea is for people to contribute one or many parts of the layout. Together, building a much larger layout. Octagons - LDD file Above is a basic Octagon showing the requirements to be a part of the layout. A 5-brick tall retaining wall along the back for the next row to abut 4 bricks taller. Stairs (or a ramp) that goes up 4 bricks. The retaining wall is needed if there is nothing else to cover up the front of the next row. A hill could be built up 4 bricks high in the back to match with the back row. If possible, buildings on an Octagon should not be at right angles! I tried to keep the Octagon as simple as possible. However, I do believe most people would have the bricks to build at least one Octagon. If you can only contribute one part of the Layout, an Octagon would be preferred. The town layout size will likely be controlled by the number of Octagons. Additional Images Examples Squares - LDD file Squares are easy! If you are working on your contribution days, hours, ...or minutes before the public show, then Squares are for you! The 5-brick retaining wall is needed for any portion there is not a building or hill. Light gray road in the front. The sloped bricks are important on the right to cover up the side of the stairs of the Octagon. Slopes don't have to be used. The building can be right on the back, left corner, or anything else can be used. Be creative, and check out the examples below for inspiration. It's much more difficult on the smaller square, but if you are a build-master, buildings on a Square should not be at right angles! Additional Images Examples
  19. OK. I recommend using proper English using capitalization and punctuation. Bad English is fine if English is a second language, but laziness is not. See the Site Guidelines. Thanks. I would check out the topics posted in our recent Brethren of the Brick Seas Challenge, Defending Yer Claims!. There are some good forts in there. There's also the search feature on the top right of the screen.
  20. The Bee Whisperer | Phred | Oleon Grape Plantation | Phred | Oleon Tents in Astrapi | Phred | Oleon
  21. In the heat of Astrapi, the climate is not uncomfortable to sleep outdoors. The only thing to watch out for is the rain. It's a good thing these "gentlemen" have a roof over their heads, made of fabric. Here is how the tents were built in case anyone is interested. Thanks for looking. My "studio" is being used for storage at the moment and my camera is missing. A friend came over to finally take pictures of everything that I've built in the last month.
  22. Come stroll the outskirts of Astrapi and view the beginnings of its farming community. Here is a small Grape Plantation. Thanks for looking.
  23. The flora and fauna of Astrapi is abundant. Bee farming has great potential to succeed and allow the local plantations to be more fruitful. Come on by to the outskirts of Astrapi to sample fresh honey and admire the expert bee farmer. Comments and critism welcome.
  24. Discussion of the POTC movies belong in the relevant topics of the Culture & Multimedia where there is already an ongoing discussion. I moved your recent posts there. Discussion of the Lego POTC sets theme belong in here.
