Nice work... I could just see this as an official WV set!! I really like the test your strength machine but the shooting game stall is probably my favourite it just looks perfect. Excellent stuff!!
-
Excellent stuff!! I like all the little details you've managed to squeeze in (although I think the laundry could do with another machine/dryer) Thanks for sharing! Oh and I love the photo of the puppy at the window!! (Hope someone took him for a walk!)

I love this building!! The front is just beautiful with the arrangement of arches you've used. The interior is just as good (I especially like shop and the apartment kitchen area). Excellent work!

As promised here's the final part of the story - for now!! (consider it a "Season Finale") The adventures will continue later next year. Hope you enjoy!! This is also the last update for Ballabreek 2013 so i'd like to say a big thank you to every one who's looked at/commented on this thread. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I have making it!! Life in Ballabreek will be going back to normal in 2014... For a while at least! Cheers and Happy New Year!

Hope everyone's having a great Christmas... I've made use of the holidays to do the next part of the story.... Hope you enjoy!! As always thanks for taking the time to look and any comments are always welcome. I hope to add one more part to the story before it takes a break (waiting to see what new TMNT sets come out next year before continuing)

Here's the next part... Apologies for the delay but my photography skills (such as they are) can't keep up with my story ideas!! I've done my best though... A fight scene at night (using Lego!) isn't the easiest of things to do!! Enjoy... Thanks for looking... Any comments are always welcome. Cheers

And part 3... (Not sure if I should start posting these in a different section but as it's set in my town I'll keep them here for now) Next part coming soon... Any comments are always welcome. (I wanted to try a "silent episode" to highlight Shredder's ninja skills using images alone but I'm not sure if my photography skills are up to it and whether it needs more text to explain what's going on!!)

Not quite sold on the colour but I understand the reason for your choice... Can't fault the design though.. Very nice!! (And I do like a good ruin... Whether they're real or in Lego form!!)
-
Can't say I've ever heard of the book but the model is great!! I love the look of the eyes... Simple yet so effective. Excellent work... (Might have a hunt for the book too!)

WOW!! Now that is very impressive!! The whole thing just looks perfect (I especially like the ground flor window displays though) Excellent stuff!!
-
That looks perfect! I especially like the brick effect. Nice work!!
-
Now that is nice!! I love the fact it's small (but perfectly formed!!) I might "borrow" the idea and do something similar for my village - it needs a petrol station!! Keep up the good work!

Here's part 2... Hope you like it... Comments are always welcome... Part 3 coming soon (hopefully!!)

I like stuff like this that tells a story!! The way you've created the fire damage is great.... Hope the police get to the bottom of what happened!!
-
That is brilliant!!! Really like the creative way you've used the various grey pieces (I can just imagine the TLG using something like this in their advertising!!) Excellent stuff!!
-
Cool!! I really like the detailing on the front! Overall it's very menacing (especially with Al's manic grin!!)
-
Beautiful looking exterior... Love the brick effect and the detail around the windows. Is there an interior? (The only improvement I can think of is to build it for real!!) Nice work!!
-
Nice vehicles!! The vintage style ones look spot on but I especially like the ones based on the old classic town vehicles (especially the caravan!!) Excellent stuff!!
-
Thanks for the comments... You're actually lucky it's only sneezing.... Originally I was going to have the gold come out of the other end!!! Anyway, I'm just working on part 2 (I'll try to spell O'Neil right this time!)

For this update I've tried something a bit different (for me at least). For a while I've wanted to use the village as a setting for stories using city sets and other themes. This is my first attempt, my own take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - I have my own ideas on an origin story and this is the first short part (mainly an attempt to try out the Comic Life App on my iPad) Any comments are very welcome...

Cool! I made my own vintage fire fighting models a while ago but your take on the subject is much better! I like all the details you've added and of course the horse hitch design. Nice work!!
