thats not entirely true.. I thing that both 1st and 2nd wave were good. From the 1st wave I prefer mostly Helms deep + add on (together), Weathertop, Orc forge, Gandalf arrives (Mines are quite good because of selection of figs, but the structure itself doesnt brings anything interesting but the pieces maybe... and Shelob Attacks is just about Shelob, no structure at all) 2nd wave brought 3 nice buildings (not counting wizard attack) + Orthanc. Black gate Council and Ship are quite good sets. We miss only Gondor faction so there is still space for third wave/P one last set, so we will see, if at least one gondor soldier + one ranger came out, possibly with the missing characters (Eowyn, Faramir, Whitch King and rehash of the old characters like Pippin Merry and possibly Frodo and Sam in Mordor garbs. What I am trying to say is that I dont understand those complaints about the 2nd wave sets. We miss some key figures yes, but that doesnt means that those sets are bad. We can agree on the presumption that there should be third wave and maybe TLG planned to create one, but maybe they decide to sell the Hobbit sets first and acording to sales they possibly continue to finish LOTR. Minas itrith is clearly a proff that there is stil demand for LOTR lineas I said previously...

Much more better will be if we get whole third wave .. I thing that Lego company has to know that there are many fans of the line and Minas tirith and other Projects on ideas are proof.. Also, I just picked up Corsair ship yesterday, and that set makes me feel desperate about LOTR line - in a way that I need more sets :) Personaly I would like to see Osgiiath and Harlond (more gondor) and possibly Easterling/Haradrim and more dead soldiers... Three (with king) is not enough :D Besides, I dont know why Pirate Ship ambush set is for most of LOTR fans a useless set, because I thing that whole ship with the figs is just superb. Only compain is about the sails, but I will mod those masts and add riging (as I did with my Black Pearl) and then the ship will be perfect.

Nice little MOC but is it worth to make it as a set? Everything here is accesible through existing sets, so I am not sure where is the added value in this... :)

Thats not what I ment, actually I was trying to say, that Osgiliath deserves to be a big set whic means more pieces and bigger building. But I understandd that smaller sets have better chances to be created after all.. I can imagine that even that you get 10 000 votes, it doesnet mean that TLG will decide (after review phase) to make this set official. So lets hope for best, and expect the worst :) anyway, I like your creation

Actually this seems to be great idea, at least your interpretation of the set, However, I think that this set seems to be fragile, so I recomend you to create each of the modules more sturdy. Also, you can make it slightly bigger to get 110-130$ price point. Figs are really nice, and I really liek the round shape of the roof on the tower, but still there is existing elements you can use for more complete roof. But this is also good, looks demaged enough and fits to Osgiliath nicely. Thumbs up and P.S. Supported. :)

I just like some part on GKB, mainly the Throne section. Its one of two sets from the Hobbit line that I miss. (along with barrel escape). I found pretty much details on throne and surroundings, but after all, it is actually pile of rabbish bringing nothing new. Its a paradox, that those parts I like most has a stickers on, and so far (as I heard from different reviews) there are around 20 of them.. :( Besides those dwarves (which I want to complete my group) I dont actually need it (only to comlete my collection but can live with out it) Maybe its kinda desirable for me because of that big figure as well (I missed Mines of moria, so i dont have Cave trol as well).. PSA has some really nice details for me like the sails and the main things on the board, like the chest with maps and bottles, and different planks all over the place. And also the shields etc... What I trully like are those Oathbreakers. The main problem is that I already have all three heroes (so this will be my second Legolas in that version - fourth in all, third Gimli, Third same Aragorn and fourth in all along with the one in his kings armour). Orc are always velcome, and since I have Around 10 spare hadpieces with tan ears, its not big deal for me to get them bald originally. But on the 100bucks set there is to few pieces, only 756 i guess, and also those pieces are small ones, so when I look on the contence of the box (on video) I was terribly surprised how small the set actually is (beside those prefab hulls)... And also I kinda dont like that sails has only one side printing, so whole other side of the ship is kinda .. not so good at least. I thought about some moccing at least for the masts and sails, because I dont like their position as they are too straight. So all in all this is my actuall thoughts about DKB and PSA... but after all I will probably go to PSA...

I recomend to get Orthanc set as soon as you can, its hard to find item, and I assume that soon will retire shelves... I give him time till spring max.

And what will u guys prefer better? Pirate Ship ambush set or GKB? Pros and cons please... :)

Its that scene when dwarves run out form the main gate of Erebor, a few seconds after Smaug conquer Lonely mountain. Its in EE I guess. Personaly I notice that Tower form RH after a while, but still the location was there .. even for a split second :)

Actually that location (Ravenhill) was for a few seconds in AUJ as well ;)

Perhaps main gate, and Windlance Tower? Possibly with Girion? And I would include some more buildings - regular houses...

But each one of them requires new mold so there is a question if its possible for us to expect/hope for that or not. Is there any example when TlG create entirely new mold in Licensed theme just for one exclusive fig?

Seems that Bolg kills Tauriel..or at least hurts her seriously, then I gues Legolas avenge her, since Killi will be dead in that moment (Crying Tauriel sequence form trailer) sorry for offtopic :)

Are you sure that Lego will came out with soumething like this??? Those "nazguls" looks pretty weird in my opinion, in LOTR they look differently, more like men with crown..but these...

Did anyone noticed those unique elven armours which elves from "Resque squad" in DG wears? There is one helmet similar to jester crest...and much more...who are they?

So the circle is closed. Now I fully undesrtand why TLG pick up to design DG courtyard rather than something else from DG..if you saw the trailer there was Gandalf on the ground, wounded and he lies almost in the middle of something similar to courtyard. We have now Elrond and Galadriel to rescue him so then we can add some hooded elfes (even thought those elves in trailer looks they wearing armour and some unique helmets) and scene is done. 1. Radagast can explore ruins and fight twilight Witch King 2. Gandalf can search in ruins for Sauron (we have only his shade but with some creativity that scene could be quite easily depict) 3 White council incuding available Saruman can go rescue Gandalf... Only thing we miss is Thrain (maybe when proper grey colored had piece will be added then everyone can moc him, and also we miss Sauron in armour, but not a big tragedy I think. Its a shame that we didnt get any of those armored elves, in the trailer there is a huge army of them..I thought at first that there will be only small regiment of archers and spearmen like in the book. But this is trully nice army.. Lets say few thousands of them? Also now the great ballista from BOFA set makes sense, and as well its a pity that we didnt get one of those trolls... dont mentioning Dwarven army and Thranduil´s steed...Las wave shoudl have 8 sets not only 4. Proper Dale ruins, proper Lake town and at least two sets form Erebor..Main gate which will be main structure in the movie I guess, and Inside Throne and mines like the set that we got. And mabye that tower from banners and posters.. Raven Hill I think....and BOLG..God, so man things is missing. So much potential. If at least hobbit theme was completed porperly it will take out at least part of my pain from current LOTR situation...

Exactly.. Holly Molly this is really good Idea, now I am conviced to buy one BOFA set and then buy some light and dark tan bricks to recreate something like this.. F´Damn it will take a lot of money from my wallet :) Pity that the design of the main gate isnt inovative - its a copy of the design form Helms Deep but still, nice work and colour scheme

I thing that there are much more than 10 loyal fans ... :)
