Jung Von Matt’s German agency recently released a minimalistic ad campaign for LEGO. The series features a lot of our favorite iconic cartoon characters. source

For the upcoming movie Prometheus they started a viral campaign, they frist clue was solved, check it out here Now I've gone searching and come up with this; On https://www.weylandindustries.com/#/timeline there states 'Module A Content Key'. It can refer to https://www.weylandindustries.com/#/main the little box on the left says 'WCCF-73: Module A' or to a source code puzzle (looked at CSS and HTML coding) https://www.weylandindustries.com/img/sprite-contentKey.png. Tried to compare the logo's with the timeline entries, but couldn't solve of it. The timeline page also refers to Project Prometheus http://www.projectprometheus.com/245409/, so tried to login with 'WCCF-73'. But access denied. And to Genentech http://www.gene.com/gene/index.jsp, but seems to be a non-fictional company. On the 'WCCF-73: Module A' page, https://www.weylandindustries.com/#/video it says 'Media archive frequency'. But from the movie I can't make up any frequency, maybe the photography flashes have the secret in them? So is anyone else trying to solve it? If you are please share your intel here.

I ain't French, but really enjoyed this book in English. Too bad there aren't more books like this. What will be the difference between the 'normal' version and 'deluxe' version? And will the deluxe version be in English?

Trailer #2 While the project may have started off as an Alien prequel “it evolved into another universe” Ridley Scott said. “If we’re lucky, there’ll be a second part. It does leave you with some nice open questions.”

Haha, looks great! But I was thinking more in the lines of Technic... are those motors powerfull enough to get some lift?

'Great Scott!' Just found this on youtube; a flying Back To The Future DeLorean RC model. Somebody should make this out of Lego. Would it be possible?

One of the producers must be a lego enthusiast! My guess is he probably will... 'Green lantern's latern'.

The figures, representing Roman gods Jupiter and Juno, and astronomer Galileo, are machined from aluminum and are the normal size for Lego minifigures. They also did a DVD that carries nearly 4 million names collected by NASA in the "Send Your Name to Mars" project. At the center of the DVD is a Lego "astrobot" minifigure that allows children to follow the mission via the astrobot diaries of Biff Starling and Sandy Moondust. Magnets on the outer edge of the DVD will collect dust for student analysis, and children can also decode the hidden message in the black dashes around the edges of the DVD.

She's a beauty, lovely color combo. Though I'm not liking the two different canopies. Great work!

I really digg that Galaxy Patrol fig, but I don't like the color. I'd rather see it in regular blue, red, or one of the gray's. -

Whenever I use Brasso, I don't use hydrogen peroxide... Just a good wash with water and soap. The tootpaste-way sounds interesting, does it depend on a certain brand or flavor? -
Lovely overall design compared to the real thing. Though if it was more in minifig scale you could get some more playabilty out of it. Maybe throw in a couple of astronauts as well.

Besides SW, I wonder if it has a underlying reason; political invironment of that time, technology race etc. From 2002 till 2006 the space line was on hold for Lego Star Wars, this could also be a change into childrens social interests. Anyway, I don't think they're gonna do a reboot of an older theme cause of expansion into new markets, which are more profitable. So it might just depend a little on what's 'hot' in the (childrens) media.

Legostein> Thanks mate. I also made a trans neon-blue version and a glow-in-the-dark version, only changed some minor details on those like a black visor instead of the trans one. But both not photographed, already working on something new... Got the NCS bug again.

I don't think we can expect anything for 2012, at least that's what I think. An add-on to the City space line would be nice, like a lunar module or something. It would be plausible considering the partnership with NASA and all. Or an expansion for the Alien Conquest line could be easily done, but depends on the sales of this line I guess. Why was Space so much bigger in the 80's and 90's!?

I've picked up the Lego Master Building Academy sets and Lego Universe sets recently. TLG should try and consider to make a theme out of that; the MBA logo is ideally suited for this. Also the idea of working with seperate interlocking modules would be a nice touch, that way you could set up your orbitting spacestation or spacecarrier to your own liking. Or a Alien Conquest: Earth Strikes Back, self-explantory... combined with things described above.

Hoverbikes+Cycles+Hot Rods Expert Just noticed it was there... my first title! So thanks. Well, what to say about it; it sums up what I like to build best.
-
A 'time-line' banner would be nice; starting with CS on the left and ending with Lego Universe astronaut on the right. Anyway nice to see some action on this side of the board. Maybe we can think up some more stuff to get it even going more.

This is just a really great looking build, but other than that Joe and his wife Anna remind me of Paul and Rachael from Orange County Choppers/paul Jr. Designs.

How about this, this or this (asian style) turned upside down for a bowl and ABS granules as cereal itself.

Love that show as a kid, simply great interpretation of it! Though I think you should take another look at that Rulon fig's head? Maybe one of those Ninjago snake head would be better suited. Other than that I'm loving it!

Lovely micro rendition. The logo on his chest is a nice touch.

What childhood names did you have for parts?
-zenn replied to caperberry's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My sister and I named bricks according to its length/studs. For example; 'een viertje' (dutch), 'a four'. Same went for other brick sizes. Like a 1x4 plate was called a 'plat viertje' (dutch), a 'flat four'.
