  1. Haha... Rednecks really give me the creeps, especially if they are from the middle of nowhere. It would be kewl to see some loggers, like that show from discovery channel, but I don't think TLG would be willing to commercialise that into a toy. Although it would make a nice moc idea.
  2. Those new police sets want to make me a scary cannibal inbred hillbilly infested redneck house. Like those from the hills have eyes, the house of a thousand corpses and that very creepy X-Files episode 'home'.
  3. I've had no idea, I just watch lots of movies... *greases his hair back in the right position*
  4. I was watching 'The Big Bang Theory' tonight, they where mentioning Lego.
  5. Ah man, great! Maybe you could make on with arched pieces, so it will have that iconic round shape on top.
  6. It just occured to me, that a kid on flickr made a gumball machine as well... But he'd put some abs granulates in it. would be kewl if you could get your hands on some. *edit; found him> Minifig Scale Candy Machine by Cam M., on Flickr A find> Choices, Choices by Armothe, on Flickr And oldschool vinyl records on the walls can be a neat touch. You are the 'sticker wizard', so some stickers on round tiles would do the trick.

    Smit Bison Tug

I'm looking forward seeing both. Most of all for the impressing details, gotta love that!
  8. welcome and enjoy the boards!
  9. True, but you could glue some skateboard wheels to minifig iceskates... Haha, the Fonz!
  10. Wow, that was fast! it would be fun to have waitresses on rollerskates and a jukebox just screams 1950 to me. Maybe an elvis look-a-like customer. *edit; every dinner served milkshakes and burgers back then, that's an easy one. Most of them also had checkered flooring and booths.
  11. welcome and enjoy the board. The book looks quite interesting, how available is it gonna be? And I would like to participate, but how many entries can I submit?
  12. Kewl, love to see the dinner already! A coke dispenser or a gumball dispenser would be nice.
  13. welkom / welcome and enjoy the boards! About your profile pic; "I'm New!" is the rank that everyone starts at. However due to the evil invaders from the land of SpamBoticous many restrictions are imposed on this group; for example signature editing, sending PMs and viewing of profiles etc. But fear not; make 10 good posts and the nightmare will be soon over.
  14. Stunning work! Looks exactley like the big set, only smaller... *duh*
  15. That's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw these pic's!

    The Ent

Stunning! Love that little rhym you got there, I can just hear him singing it. Love the way you made his head, his face with the cyberobotic eye and tangled beard really appeals to me. Very well done!
  18. That's true, they don't have a frontpage or anything... Some other members and me are trying to get the life back into it, for those who want to go deeper into the space genre, although we spend more time hanging out here and other forums. Thanks anyway!
  19. I got a feeling you want a payphone really bad...
  20. I understand. Well, I meant the classic space link on several 'classic-enter theme name here sites'...
  21. A remake of this set would work> Using the new police van style and a huge movable/retractable dish on top, a camera guy and a female news reporter.
  22. Yes I think that could definitely work. A small postoffice would be nice start.
  23. I just think TLG should invest in smaller city size sets, 'cause I don't think lot's of kids will be buying those big expensive ones. They could just make some easy remakes from oldschool sets for example.
  24. Yes, we were drifting off... I would like to see some smaller establishments, like that oldschool Pizza Parlor. Or a newspaper stand, a candy shop, a skateboard shop. Maybe some sort of lookout point, maybe some busstops.
  25. Yes, that's true... How about a canned foods display? Or someone running into it? Or some fruit on the outside?
