  1. No it's not, the Electro Polybag is official, it has the logo on the polybag. I wouldn't call Rhino an unofficial tie-in, since it's not like he hasn't been in a Mech suit in any other media.
  2. Because a Mech Rhino is a cool thing? I mean the set has nothing to do with ASM, it's not an ASM-set, I didn't see Sandman in that movie..
  3. It doesn't matter, where there be Super Jumpers there be flick fires.. And atleast flick fires doesn't destroy the minifigures. And I agree, this polybag is a disgrace, I hate the bland pajama Spider-Man.
  4. Amazing Spider-Man are awful movies, I hope they don't do anything more regarding them. Same with Ultimate Spider-Man, I just want classic villains!
  5. Looks unfinished.. I mean the Oliphant is almost okay but the top.. Deader than dead!
  6. I don't mind that it's the same face, It's kinda fun (Saruman and Dooku had the same face too) However the hair is just boring, to to mention it isn't accurate it's the most overused boring male hair out there
  7. Absolutely.
  8. I think that the final duel set looks okay, but it's not even close to being worth 90 euro with no real new minifigs (Sheev only has a new face and I don't like them replacing the iconic Darth Vader mold)
  9. Accurately to what? You can make a very good MCU Banner using Kilians torso, dark tan pants and Supermans head.
  10. Pics of Lighthouse and Airplane set (I don't hope these have been shown) http://www.hothbricks.com/2015/02/lego-scooby-doo-gros-plan-sur-les-sets-75901-et-75903/
  11. The starlet hair isn't perfect, but it's certainly better than the brand new mold.. I don't get why they made the ends stick out like that, it looks silly, she looks like Pippi Longstockings..
  12. Actually the Starlet came out in January 2013, while the first Avengers sets came out in April 2012. So you're right. Shame tough, since I'd much prefer that to any of the different hairstyles we've gotten!
  13. The news about the video game is excellent, since every other licensed games meant sets, so I'm positive we'll get some older sets now!
  14. Or... Maybe Michael Douglas *gasp* lied because he didn't want to spoil the movie?
  15. If you watch the last minute of this clip you see that the opening is there, but it isn't a hangar it's just an opening with a bunch of glass windows. Maybe the space in the set is for the power functions you can add?
  16. I think that the micro vehicles look sweet, but I would have traded all the microfigures away for a minifigure-sized control room (I don't mind it being small) and a Banner, Coulson and two Shield Agent minifigs. The studs on the side is more a matter of taste, obviously this was the designers choice since the tumbler had barely any studs showing.
  17. This is irrelevant, clearly this is about the same size as the Death Star and they did a great job at making it work with minifigures.
  18. I'm pretty disappointed. At this price point we should get more than 2.5 exclusive, new minifigures (Nick Fury is only half since we got him in a non-MCU version) and I don't like getting Black Widow and Hawkeye since we've already gotten/are getting them so many times. Yeah it's fitting that they're in there but I'd rather have Coulson, Bruce Banner or some Shield Agents. Microfigs I don't care for. It looks like part of the runway is stickered, again shouldn't even be considered at this premium price range.
  19. Doesn't they have some deal of "one MCU movie based set(s) per year"? I think it's more like the X-Jet set last year, not based on a movie but just happens to come out and have similar characters to a movie coming out around the same time.
  20. They aren't really useful. The pirate captain has a big eyepatch, so his head is a no-no and so is the zombie businessman since he's got crooked glasses and a really silly facial expression. Really the only useful one are the cheerleader and she's only so useful since it isn't fun to have ton of female zombies with the same expression.
  21. Yeah, it's pretty weird. Colours are off, legs look messed up, arms look unfinished.
  22. Well there's still some monsters they could have done, Invisible Man, Ghost Pirate, Masked Killer, The Fly, a Harpy.. Granted it would be hard to come up with 16 both new and goodlooking minifigures, I would have wanted some more original ones. However I do like the werewolf, since we haven't had a modern gray one, and it's cool how he's the Lumberjack from series 5
  23. I was hoping for some classic monsters, I'm sad to say that these look awful. They're just cheap rehashes (a Zombie cheerleader, a Frankensteins monster rock star) Also there's a wierd mix of what I assume people dressing up as monsters and actual monsters. Nice nod to the old Studios werewolf tough. But I might get a Tiger Girl just to moc a purist Tigra. Otherwise, I'll probably pass.
  24. It's not official yet (I don't know if they're ever going to go ahead and state it so) but I think the fact that there were no Hobbit or LOTR sets at the Toy Fair is a pretty good final nail in the coffin, I mean we've pretty much known that LOTR was over for a loooong time.
