Happy New Year from Train Tech!
No LEGO Train creation can start the New Year better than EB Fellow Teddy's amazing BR01-1075 (loud train whistle can be heard in the distance as fire works shoot from the train yard).
Teddy has created a highly detailed 1:45 scale version of a Dutch Steam Association SSN locomotive and tender. If you haven't seen this beautiful black & red LEGO Train engine, make sure you stop by Train Tech to comment.

#9349 Fairytale and Historic Minifigure and #9348 Community MF Sets
Norwegian member L@GO brings us news of the new #9349 Fairytale and Historic Minifigure Set just released on S@H.
It appears to be listed in UK, Australia and European countries but not the US (so far) I don't recall any mention of this product previously.
Will it be released worldwide? Will it be top quality figures? Headon over to the 2011 Castle thread to discuss.
Or snap one up from S@H
L@go just pointed out the City version as well #9348 Community City Minfigures as well
Looks like some interesting parts available like the yellow hard hat, lime and orange caps, new printed dog and much more. Discuss more in City 2011
It could get missed in the excitement of all the other new lines just released on S@H as well as all the sale stock!
