    MOC: Traditional Bus Station

Traditional Bus Station I've been on a rampage building Chicken Bus after Chicken Bus and I've finally got around to building a Bus Depot/Station for them. The building has been through several iterations and styles but I've finally got to a point where it had enough of a run down feel to it so that it would fit in with my economically depressed Lego City. Here's the main facade and of course it has broken windows, cracked stucco and exposed brickwork. There's a display on the roof - with another small scale Chicken Bus - just in case no-one realizes that it's a Bus Depot and I used some SNOT to build the circles in the facade. The view from the rear of the building. As I built the glass-curved roof structure it turned into something that looked like it came from a British Rail circa early-1990s design manual. And although it invoked painful memories of too many years commuting into London I decided to keep it. Loading time! And there's an interior with a waiting room, departure board and luggage lockers And a Bathroom area behind the wall with the arrow pointing the way. And a final image with yet another Chicken Bus I hope you enjoyed it! Comments, criticisms, and ridicule most welcome - now excuse me I have a bus to catch!

    MOC: Traditional Truck Bus

Lego Traditional Truck Bus I had so much fun building my Chicken Bus (http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=95326) that I had to build another one. For this I used the 4434 Orange Dump Truck as the donor vehicle, but to be honest only the wheels, arches and the lower chassis remained from the original - everything else from there on upwards was built using non-set pieces. This is an 8-wide Truck with a 6-wide cab and the front bumper is 7-wide. There's a rudimentary ladder on either side that's used for loading the roof area - be careful carrying that 2 x 2 Reddish Brown Brick! There's five passengers on the roof (including the Crusty Fisherman who may have had too much to drink) sunning themselves amongst the luggage. The interior has bench seating for eight minifigs and standing room for four more. One final shot. We've got Mountains to climb! Thanks for reading. And I'd recommend building a Chicken Bus or Traditional Truck Bus to anyone - just use a donor vehicle and let your imagination run riot. Comments, criticism and ridicule most welcome!

    MOC: Chicken Bus

Lego Chicken Bus I've been wanting to build a Bus Depot for my economically deprived Lego city for a while, but it morphed into a Far-eastern Jeepney Depot which was kind of good, but the Jeepneys I built looked they really belonged in a circus (pictures on my Flickr account) so I leveled the Bus Depot and rebuilt the Jeepney into a Chicken Bus! The chassis is six-wide, the passenger space seven-wide and the roof-eight wide. I wanted a top heavy vehicle that looked like it would lurch around corners scattering the luggage and goods (and chickens) off the roof. There's a Bike rack on one side. Here's a view of the Luggage rack - the crates, ruck sack and empty beer bottles are secured with an old POTC fishing net. The Bus's schedule is loose and variable and it will frequently pull into towns to drop off and pick up passengers, but whatever you do do not let the Bus leave the town without you! - you might be there for a long time It's been a long time since that windscreen has seen a squeegee.... And a final shot of the spacious interior with comfy seating for at least six minifigs. Comments, criticisms and ridicule encouraged!
