Before you ask, I searched through the plastic bags multiple times, checked the box a few hundred times, retraced my steps a ton and even scanned the bricks to see if I could "find them" that way. Truth is, I think I am missing an entire bag of bricks to my Grand Emporium :(. I am on the Third Floor / Roof and I seem to be missing all the smaller window panes, a piece of the chandelier and some of the pieces that make up the little house and scooter. I am assuming this was a "bag in a bag" type deal as it was likely a bag of smaller parts. I'm going to contact TLG, but I wondered if any Grand Emporium builders had this problem or remember where, in the myriad of bags, they found may have found the pieces above that I mentioned. Thanks everyone! Seems this guy is was missing the same pieces: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1Z1GH26D4ZIGX/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#R1Z1GH26D4ZIGX. Really weird - bit disappointing, too. Given the above, I'm just going to request TLG send me the pieces - they make it pretty straight-forward. Thanks for reading my panic-laden post ;)

Thank you :). It was a really fun project.

I bought a 2nd (and then a 3rd..for no reason) Fire Brigade as it was on sale (I know, bizarre) and I added a 2nd bay to my current one. The interior is a bit sparse, but I'm really happy having a fire house with 2 bays :).

Long while since I posted. I've built a few things since I last posted, but this is something I'm particularly happy with (minus how fragile it is in places..) Here's the set with full-res images: Flickr Set Here's where I pulled much of my inspiration. If anyone knows who this person is, please give them my praise. Great stuff here!

That lettering is fantastic! Rest of the building looks fantastic, but man..that lettering. Love it :).

Really great detail here. I'm a fan of classic 4-wides and these look simply fantastic!

Whoa! This is fantastic! Terrain looks great too. I have yet to tackle a large terrain project like this - always impressed with how well people do their terrain. Great job :)

Favorite part for me is the stove/backsplash/hood - awesome stuff. Great kitchen overall!

I designed this building in 2009 with LDD. I never thought I'd build it, but after finishing my last modular, I thought I'd give it a shot. Much has changed - it's dark blue facade is one thing. I also finished the bedroom and added some more details. I hope you enjoy - I had a blast building it. Full Set: Ha, just realized how askew the nightstands are :) Next to my first one :)

Thanks everyone - really loving the 16-wide modulars right now. 32-wide is next...and at some point: corner modular ;D

Many thanks for the feedback, everyone. This was a really, really fun build. Sad it's over, but really can't wait to show both of them off @ Brickfair NE :) I left basement and roof access out on purpose mainly due to space. I also would have loved adding a bathroom - next one, perhaps :). I think basement access would be a great challenge - puzzled on how I'd add rooftop access. Ha, so far 'Hand o God' is the only way ;)
