Sorry, you are correct, it's a beaver. We were debating what it was for awhile, squirrel, beaver, dog (from Duck Hunt) and I guess squirrel just stuck in my head.
-
New Model is the Puffin. The Squirrel, I found out is only at the much bigger flagship stores. Can anyone confirm that? Damn... new size restriction on Images. I'll have to shrink and upload later if someone else doesn't do it first.

Thank goodness for the letter L or that would be a different kind of truck.

So the Duplo version will be Jason Drizzle or Jeff Sprinkles?
-
Is Pharaoh's Quest not an Adventurers theme because it doesn't have the Adventurers label from LEGO? Or because it doesn't have Johnny Thunder and his co-horts in it? Or some other reason?

So the April 2016 Store Calendar is out but there's no picture of what will be the latest Pick A Model model. Anyone seen anything about it yet?

Is there a limit on pab cups you can buy?
chump replied to Andrzej777's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've picked up 10 large PAB cups in one go. As long as you don't wipe them out of an item necessary for their Pick A Model, I don't see why they wouldn't sell you as many as you want to purchase. -
Location-based FOL network, what features do you guys want?
chump replied to __________________________'s topic in General LEGO Discussion
Granted there are more builders than rLUGs but maybe you can use the LAN LUG map to at least find a group near you and they can lead you to builders nearer you. https://lan.lego.com/lugs It does help if you are a little more specific in identifying your own location, otherwise a location-based FOL network is not going to work. -
Very easily. I ordered a bunch and at least three snapped just testing them out opening and closing them.

New Lego.com Shop Customer - Orders cancelled
chump replied to Distorted Vision's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Call LEGO S@H and find out. They should be able to provide a better response than we can here. That's what they're there for. -
You have to meet the minimum threshold on the S@H side to get the Robin's Mini Fortrex polybag. Purchase on the B&P side do not count towards that.

TLG canceled my P&B order and future orders placed through S@H
chump replied to Dosenbrot's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Your subject feels very click baity. They're not cancelling all "Bricks & Pieces" orders, just yours. There are two sides to every story. So call them, as they would know the full story that lead them to that action. UPDATED: OP has changed the title to be more clear, as it originally had read "TLG cancels all Bricks & Pieces orders"- 71 replies

When they're talking bulk, they're usually looking at minimum 25,000 LEGO elements ordered at a time.

Thanks. Don't know how I mucked that up. That makes is much easier to get the bulk pieces I need. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
chump replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Are the prices missing? They were there before they pulled B&P off. And quantity is restricted to how many pieces were in that set? -
That's really well done. Each year, I toy with the idea of building a LEGO brick built nativity scene. However, this year I think I have all the pieces and elements to be able to build what I want. I just acquired the Galadriel minifig today but was thinking more for the angel rather than for Mary. The curved plates are a real nice touch, I just got some tan, but now I should look at getting some dark tan ones too.

Why wait? Just go to the last page in this thread to find out what the new models are. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27795&st=1775#entry2440568

Tips For Getting Back Into Ninjago
chump replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, if you liked the Fire Temple, then the Temple of Airjitzu I think is going to be one that you'll want to display for a long time, as it's a real nice build. People who don't normally like Ninjago have bought this set. I passed on the Temple of Light and the Battle for Ninjago City (as they didn't appeal, nor fit in with my Ninjago scheme), but ended up acquiring the frosted glass panels for those buildings to use in future builds. I also agree with @tkatt that Master Wu's dragon is a beauty to behold. A little more timeless and classic than the rest of the vehicles or dragons which for me increases longevity. I really should look at acquiring that set. -
Tips For Getting Back Into Ninjago
chump replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
What aspect of Ninjago is appealing to you? Is it the minifigs, the vehicles or the architecture? Are you a set builder or a MOC builder? What do you do in the end with the sets? Display them or play? This might help focus your question and give better responses. Do you subscribe to the Cult of the New? Meaning that you're only interested in Ninjago, if they keep releasing new stuff? If so, your interest will eventually collapse, as it did before. Good for LEGO but bad for you in the long run. For myself, the minifigs and vehicles are not of interest to me but the architecture is. So that's how I purchase. I've got two Fire Temples, the Spinjitzu Dojo and a Temple of Airjitzu and the pieces that I buy support adding on to that. I don't feel the need to collect everything and the interest is enduring (ie. if Ninjago got cancelled, I'd still be building with these sets) and not isolated to who the next big bad is or what outfit that they're wearing. -
What is the best Lego city shop/building for a first buy?
chump replied to SocialRefund's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It depends on your budget and your goals. Do you have the budget for modulars? Or more at the the Creator expert buildings? Is your intent to just build stock models and leave them on the shelf or is to create MOCs of your own? I'm going to assume a limited budget and a desire to build your own creations. In this case, I would agree with @VenUnder in that the Creator Expert Buildings are good value to purchase multiples of. You can customize something larger and keep with a consistent colour scheme. Look at the Pick a Brick wall and add bricks and pieces that are consistent with your buildings. I would also download all the Modular Buildings instructions and look at the various techniques that are used. Granted it's one thing to look at instructions and it's another to build. So if you have really good friends who have the modulars already and are really agreeable, you might ask to borrow one to disassemble and put back together for the experience. -
As I understood it, they didn't have the accompanying printed materials to put out on the wall yet. Although, that is probably what you meant.
-
Thanks. That helps. Will definitely look out for those pieces. Fortunately I live about 5 minutes away from my local store.
-
@tkatt Sweet, I actually need those two grey pieces for a project I'm working on. What store/country are you in? Or do you know if it's part of the other Pick A Model that's not the plane? That way I can potentially see if it'll reasonably hit my local PAB soon.
