(MOC) Modular Amsterdam Canal House Art Gallery

Nice work, I share the same love for canal houses. Also I live in Amsterdam myself, you included all the details. Well done. Just the big window is not entirely my taste, have you tried different solutions? Love it.

    Venice - St. Marck's Campanile

Astonishing. Can't wait to see more. I like the way how "slick" it looks.
  4. Great buildings! My compliments for your work.

    Hello! My name is amd762mpx

    Thanks for the warm welcome!
  7. Hi, Registered already a while ago, have been reading quite a lot. So let me introduce myself, I am 32 y/o AFOL from Amsterdam. In my younger years I had a lot of Lego as most of us here. Last months I was in between jobs so had some spare time and needed to put my attention on something totally different than routing protocols as I did in the last 12 years for 60 hours a week. I enjoy this quiet period in my life very much. So I picked my Lego addiction by accident again. I was in my local toyshop to buy a present and say these modular buildings. I bought one, just to be busy for one evening. From that moment I got totally addicted again as in my younger days. Result is now, all current modular buildings completed. Yellow freight train, 2x horizon express, all great vehicles, police and fire series. So this all happened in 4 months. My wife is even so kind to pick one set here and there. My preference is City related themes and I am very much interested to see MOC of others, thanks you all for the inspiration! I had never realized how big this community is. I am not ashamed I still love Lego. I hope in the coming weeks to present my first MOC. Currently spending quite some time in LDD. I started out with a nice challenge, build a station where a complete horizon express fits in, big project to start of with. I like challenges! With the amount of sets that I build lately I think I have enough understanding of the different techniques, where and how to apply them. Pretty much a perfectionist :)
