Going to rant for a bit here ... Nothing annoys me more than people making judgement calls without all the information. Don't blame scalpers and resellers for inability to obtain this set. Lego made a coding error back when the first set was being sold that allowed people to buy as many as this second set as they wanted from S@H. This lasted less than one day, but everyone that ordered (not me) received their sets. I know of people that ordered 25+ of this set and got all of them ($10 apiece). 1.) If Lego hadn't made the error, there would have been thousands of these left for this three day sale. 2.) Even though Lego made the error, they didn't HAVE to ship these sets - they could have cancelled all of them due to a website error. Next time get off your high horse and do some research. If you're going to blame someone, blame Lego. -

Added a bunch of stuff, sold a bunch of stuff and updated the list. Finally completed the inventory on 4504, so added that as well. That's all I'll be adding for quite a while, other than select minifigs. -

I have two copies of the first set in hand and two copies of the second on the way. Assuming Lego didn't run out before they shipped my orders, I'd be willing to sell one of each at a reasonable price to a Eurobricks member. -

Well, the cows are popular pieces, although there were two per set and the sets only cost ~$100, not $150. So, if you figure relative rarity of the barding is three times that of a cow (given the cost and # differences), I'd estimate Bricklink prices will start ~$20 and stabilize around $15 per barding. On the other hand, the lion barding in 7946 can be had for ~$4, so that would intimate ~$6 for the joust barding. However, I think we can all agree the price will be considerably higher than that. -

I purchased 90 polybags yesterday at Target for $0.39 apiece. 51 ninjas, 21 fire helicopters and 18 Atlantis subs. I left plenty of helicopters for someone else...

??? The sets are from previous years. The theme started in 2009 with the Toy Shop, continued last year with the Bakery and this year's set is the Post Office. There is one per year. The holiday train, while not officially part of this theme, was released in 2007 and goes nicely with this too! 2012: I'd like to see a small house, or grotto. -

Well, since these people didn't read your instructions in the title of the thread (guide only, no comments) and it's already messy, I'll just point out someone needs to figure out a better solution for these guides. Perhaps so you can lock your thread whenever you'd like, so comments can be avoided... In any case, I'm sure there is a better solution out there than strictly relying on people's reading comprehension. EDIT: In other words, I am really enjoying the guide. Edit again: This was moved from the other thread, along with a half dozen other posts...nice job mods! -

That's only the first half wave and, as stated specifically at least five times in this thread, Castle doesn't come out until the second half. So, the list shouldn't include any Castle themed sets.
