LEGO 8684 Minifigures Series 2 (Official Pictures)
Spyder replied to GRogall's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yes! Beautiful! I can't wait for that Spartan! Or that wonderful Karate master! Or the mime! (Joker's henchmen ) Or the Pharaoh! Or... wait, I think I'll just buy a whole box. -
I'm not sure about the face, but it looks serious to me. As for the set, it's simply a must buy. It's sleeker and alot bigger than I expected. And finally, I can get some Senate Commandos cheap! (Or at least relatively cheap) I just really don't like that Shahan has two different colored arms. What's up with that? His left arm looks fine, but his right arm looks like C-3PO's.
-
Simply amazing. That skeleton foot is great, and I love the bones sticking out of his arm. How long did it take you to make this, and can his arms and legs move?
-
Thanks, and since when do you buy Lego? Thanks. At first it was only ground up, but I thought adding the cavern with his treasures in it might be cool, along with the Dagger of Time.
-
I think some Space Town sets containing Flying Octan Tankers would be great. But I think turning it into a mega corporation is our job to do, as TLG would never do that.
-
That's it! I have to get a box of these minifigs! I can't stand it any longer. Your great vignettes along with the reviews have convinced me, these minifigs are a Lego-Lovers dream come true.

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Conclusion
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm quite curious as to what that special protection "as mystical as the sands of time itself" was. Mind explaining Shadows? -
Just don't do anything stupid, and the mods won't have trouble with you. Believe me, unless you do something severe, you fine. These mods are extremely forgiving.
-
Wow! Thanks for the info. I'm really loving those World Racer sets, now that I can see all the detail. I just have to collect all of 'em.

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Conclusion
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, sorry about that, but you were so usable. (Don't take that the wrong way) Any ways, I really did have a great time fooling you Walter, and your a good sport about it, thanks. And again Shadows, thank you to you. So um, when's the next game? -

You boys moderate these forums too much...
Spyder replied to Follows Closely's topic in Forum Information and Help
As others have said, this topic being open merely proves our point. The mods here want to hear your problem out, and actually give you a chance, not just close it immediately. I once inquired why a certain thread was locked, so I went straight to the mod, and asked him. He had a perfectly legit reason that I 100% agreed with. These mods, although impossible, do try to please everyone, and for free. So Mods, I just want to personally say thank you for everything you've done for this site. -
Small fortune darn right! That's quite a bit of sets you have there. I hope your son likes it, I know I would.

VBBN Reviews; May-June 2010 Lego CLUB Catalogue
Spyder replied to VBBN's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I got mine 2 weeks ago, definitely not the best magazine or comic, but at least they tried. My Atlantis comic is also in 3-D, so yes, hopefully it is the same around the world. -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Day 4
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Way to leave town and wait for us to all die, Grand Vizier. I would think that there are at least three Nizam left, but that may or may not include the Vizier. -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Night 3
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Who gives a flip about cake, or the death of Shadir ( ) at a time like this? We need to find these Nizam, and eliminate them, immediately. They are taking us out daily and we don't have a clue who could be responsible. I don't like to form any large Alliance, but at this point, it might be the only way to survive. -
I'm a sucker for those types of stairs, and do you mind showing how you accomplished that amazing half-sphere at the top of the pillar? And then I just can't get over the color scheme-Dark Blue-Beautiful! Simply Stupendous work!

Stilzkin Bridge Launcher
Spyder replied to mahjqa's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Now that sir, is pretty frikkin' nifty! I'm super impressed. I like how it disconnects from the bridge, but once over it, can reconnect with it on the opposite end. And to top it all off, it's a lovely color of dark green and yellow. You deserve a cookie. -

Spyder replied to Follows Closely's topic in Forum Information and Help
I think this topic will be closed and merged, as we already have a topic for complaints and recommendations to the staff. Sorry, but that's just the way things work around here. We should win an award for the best organized forum. -

If you didn't want to cause a stir, you wouldn't have posted this topic. The point of making a complaint is to cause a stir, and have your "problem" changed. -

Obviously you haven't been around long enough to see all of the "look wat i bouht!!!!" topics. These mods do a great job of keeping the forum organized, and I see nothing immature about it. And besides, if we already have a topic for buyd and finds, then why should you be annoyed when they merge the topics, that's what good mods do. Anyways, please stick around a bit longer, and you'll see how well these mods keep this forum; best mods ever. They even have a sense of humor to boot. -

Where exactly did you find these historical documents? -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Day 3
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
As we keep kill each other with no Nizam deaths, I'm starting to wonder if maybe the Vizier is the only Nizam. Maybe this is just a game of Paranoia, because I just can't believe we haven't killed at least one of them yet. As for the whole Alliance thing, yes, I participated in one, but only with someone(s) I knew I could trust. And that someone(s) know he(they) can trust me, we are trying our hardest. -
Those look very nice on the minifigs, but the pictures are huge, they need to be resized. Here's some tutorials.

Happy Birthday to our hilarious crafty nasty "Shadows"
Spyder replied to WhiteFang's topic in Community
Happy Birthday Shadows, may it be filled generously with plastic bricks! Now then, you have a Persian city to get back to!
