LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Wabbajack replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I really want the welder, to make a train shed. And also the two jazz musicians - I´ll build an old police car and have "The Blues Brothers" ! :D -
That is fantastic news. Now I can add it to my train Edit: I couldn´t find it. It must have been some special offer.

Very beautiful, I wish I will make a cool shed sometime soon. For now, I only silently envy.

Hello, I suppose it is my time to introduce. I am 21 years old (22 in under a month). I had a layout at home with my brother (he is 12 years younger) Here are some photos, I took them last month when visiting home. The first time we saw the Deluxe Train, me and my brother fell in love with it. In 2010 I went to university in Prague (500 km away). I left the layout to my brother, but a time later I started looking at Train Tech. I wanted to buy the 10194 EN, but I didnť have the spare money. After I got a part time job, I decided to buy one. They were already sold out or overpriced. So I bought the 10219 MT. The longer I have it, the more I love it. I still have it MISB, but I will open it eventually. (Sorry for the mess, I do live in a dorm, so I believe it is acceptable ) To motorise it, I bought 7938 and a decal truck. So now my dormitory table looks like this: I will build the MT after I get the 24 straight tracks I ordered. May post pictures. I am looking forward to working with EB Train forum. PS: Oh! I forgot to mention the other 100 Kg of Lego left at home, which I have been collecting since 1995.

Fantastic build! I have stalked your Flickr pages after seeing this and I must say you also have other fine creation. It seems that the shed and signal house are upgrades of older versions. Could we ask for some pictures of the interior of the shed please? It seems that the roof is removable, so I am very interested what it hides

I would just love to see an Emerald night at a snowy station next to it :D It is perfect.

Pics or it didn´t happen ! But seriously, update us on your progress. I am looking forward to it. Edit: Sorry, I just found the update thread. -
Well, they will have to make do with curtains on the toilet :D. I will try my best when I get the set. But I think I will respect this detail over time.

I have been trying to get an EN here in Czech Republic since summer, because I didn´t have the money before. As I failed to find any, I bought the Maersk train on 25th October. Two days after all on-line shops went out of stock. I still have it packed and hope for trading for an EN, but maybe I will keep it, because it would fit in nicely with the Horizon Express. Also trains are on sale. The red passenger train went from 2999,-CZK to 2100,-CZK and the motorization of my Maersk would cost me 1700,- just for the PF parts. With the passenger train, I also get track + rail cars. I think I will get it before the HE :)

I don´t want to ruin this, but my nerd senses are tingling: The passenger wagon windows are assymetrical! The first car has 4 windows, but the second has 5. To be symetrical, one would have to change the two circled windows to three or vice versa. Fortunately it seems to be no problem, or at least I don´t see any. I myself will have to change it. PS: I am interested in the running coffe machine joke too.

It is a shame it didn´t have trains and tracks. Its beautiful. Maybe should be moved into the trains section.

Wonderful. Nice details on the catacombs.

Unofficial LEGO Train Collectors Guide
Wabbajack replied to Henrik Ludvigsen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Some backstory to the sets would be nice, like who designed it, what inspired it and what makes it different from the other models. I would definitely buy the book, even if there were only pictures. -
Very nice. (Hodně hezké )
-
It´s fantastic. Good work.

I watched you Flickr page and the layout is mindboggling. I imagined the Horizon Express driving on it. Please update us with pictures when you get it. I bet you´ll get two at least

This is fantastic! I adore every part of it. Indeed, TLG should consider selling small sets like this. I would never have thought a PF engine can be so small.

It looks fantastic! How do you call the technique you used for the front bumper? Is there any tutorial? -
Wow, in red it looks even better. It shouldhave been the original colour.
