As soon as I saw the MagnePulse Xcelerator I knew it’d make the top of the list! Amazing to see Spyrius in 2nd place as well. Good job to all the participants and thanks for hosting the contest! I sure had fun building my entry :D

11 Sympatic Brick - this is pushing the boundaries of building in these little chunks. I’m blown away by how much I’m sucked into such a small model, it feels so spacious! 18 BardDandelion - this perfectly encapsulates Tony’s basement. It’s got just the right balance between being crowded and messy while still feeling large and open, likely due to the suggestion of a high ceiling with those (really nice) stairs. Love the small details like the noodle cup, cap shield and is that Ultron’s head? 26 Justus - GREEBLESSS!! Need I say more? In all seriousness: I love how much this feels like the small spaceship chambers from the films. It’s untidy, there’s exposed machinery everywhere and of course Rocket’s firearms are all over the place. And the small details like Quill’s blasters and headphones and the Groot branch are great too, I’m impressed by how well they’re integrated. Doesn’t feel unnatural at all.

What the heck, it’s a mech?! Two, in fact? That’s whack. I would’ve never seen that coming. Great job, love the uniqueness of this one!

This is so unique, I’m very impressed! The textures and greebling are great, as is the overall shape and concept. It conveys its purpose very well, there’s no doubt that this is a carrier and that the thing that’s carried holds people due to all the windows. So many cool parts and techniques everywhere too! Good luck in the contest :D

This is so funky, I love it! I’d never be able to come up with such a bonkers shape and to make it look this good is just on another level. Love the colors too, excluding yellow highlights here totally works! I now wish more people made ships without it because this is just as cool of a color scheme.

If you’re referring to the butterfly-like fellas, they’re called Memlyins! I came up with the name after my mum (‘mem’ where I’m from) said she liked them which NEVER happens with anything I create, LOL. I just threw in some unconventional letters to achieve the alien-y feel. If you were referring to the astronauts, they’re nameless :P just a few humans exploring a new world (they’re not really ‘inhabitants’ anyway).

I’m almost having a seizure from all these parts/techniques I do/don’t know/understand. How people come up with these kinds of NPUs is beyond me. I’m just baffled. Probably my only critique would be that it’s yet another classic space themed build instead of the more interesting subthemes out there, but that honestly is scraping the barrel with the quality of this build!

Thank you kindly! I guess there are indeed few alien world MOCs that depict a safe and healthy environment, even if it’s not something I was consciously thinking of when designing.

Love the way the rover’s attached, I’m surprised by how ‘right’ it looks. Usually I’d expect a ‘just slap it on there’ technique to look way out of place but it works well here! Cool to see a ship where the longest dimension isn’t the length too.

YES! I love this so much. First off it’s Spyrius which desperately needs more recognition but then it’s also this incredibly well-built craft that totally resembles the almost UFO-like look of most Spyrius ships of old. And then it completely folds open? And there’s a full-sized ROBOT inside, stored ON ITS BACK? Shut up and take my vote (if this account was old enough, that is).

For something made out of just this is incredible! I love the greebling and overall shape, it looks very aggressive and suits Blacktron perfectly. Color blocking is only slightly messy and that’s totally excusable with the quote above. It looks fantastic next to the GWP cruiser too, could almost be another set in a new line!

Anyone remember Hero Factory set 44027 Breez Flea Machine? Yeah, I don’t blame you. Although I really wanted to like this one for its imaginative look it just wasn’t a good set (put very lightly). Having an unfinished appearance, non-functioning functions, inconsistent colors (if any color at all) and being a downright disappointment were among the set’s most notable qualities. Still, I couldn’t let it go to waste fully: the tripod design was just too cool to not give a second chance. But some heavy adjustments had to be made. So much so that after I was done with it, barely nothing of the original model remained. Whatever it takes, right? At least I can now safely say that I’m happy to have this on my shelf! Plus, it’s another addition to my portfolio. Okay, enough rambles. Here’s some pictures. Did I mention it’s now Power Miners-themed? Yup. The grabber claw has full reach from the floor up to the loading bucket in the back so you can carry over crystals in a single motion! And that’s about it for this one, not much interesting or noteworthy stuff here beside cool looks. Keep in mind this isn’t a recent design, but I still love it nonetheless.

Thank you! Mine are too :D I tried my best, awesome to see it shows! Thanks! They were the first thing I came up with, before I even started working on this specific model. With the right selection of foliage colors they fit in perfectly here! Me too :) Thanks! Not as simple, it’s a flex rod! Had to force-bend it manually to have the shells line up right. The branches are also connected to these via parts with clips or 318 holes. The process was almost like stringing beads, hahaha!
