    Minecraft 2022- Rumors and Discussion

So glad to see zombie villagers making a return! The one item of note in the new dungeon set is a music disc, which I assume to be a 2x2 printed round tile. Three skeletons also seems quite generous for what I hope will be a $30 set.

Built my DA last night and I definitely agree the pictures don't do the pink justice for some reason. Sand red would have been epic, but unrealistic.

Glad I'm not alone in it not having shipped. Not expecting to see it for awhile. Something to look forward to yet I guess xD

Ahhh! Thanks for sharing! I see my store has it in stock so I'm going to pick that up now. No guilt if it's on sale!

Probably will get the Burrow right away as well, since that should be made available at the same time!

Probably old news, but the Room of Requirement, Privet Drive, and Umbridge's Encounter showed up at the Target in La Crosse, Wisconsin. No Minifigures or other kits though which was sad. Walmart had series 20 for $3.44 so I'm hoping that Harry Potter will show up there for the same price.

I think a set like that would be fantastic! Include some Illagers and the new beast and that could make a great large set.

I suppose I'll always appreciate the "old school" village and villagers much more. If the theme continues, I'll be curious to see how they approach the situation. Typically, LEGO has gone for a very minimalistic look in their prints, even more simplistic than the Minecraft 16x16, and the look really suits LEGO. Trying to replicate the very detailed looks on the 1.14 villagers would break this mold, so I wouldn't be surprised if they stuck to the older style.

I've now seen them too, and I'm not entirely sure how I feel yet. On the one hand, I'm just happy to still be getting these sets, but I can't help but feel a tad disappointed, too. The Pirate Ship introduced so much new stuff and a cool location! The Nether set especially just seems like a rehash of other Nether sets, though I'm happy about the inclusion of two of those new fire pieces and the updated blazes. The wool farm is going to be a lot of fun. I'm excited for a new yellow sheep, but getting another red sheep instead of a new color makes me a bit sad. Still, three sheep in what looks to be a $20 set is absolutely fantastic, so I can't really complain there. As for the Creeper Mine, it definitely looks fun, but I would have liked to have seen some more new stuff in a large set like that. The Husk's tan head is a very strange choice to me. It's a mixed bag I guess. Some cool stuff, but nothing mind blowing. Definitely will pick up the wool farm! I'll be real, I'm just dying for a dark pink and a sand green villager torso...

I feel like I have the same thoughts as a lot of you. Expecto Patronum, Hagrid's Hut, and the Clock Tower are fantastic. The hut is probably my favorite - a great selection of minifigures, Buckbeak, and they sure didn't skimp on pumpkins! I'm so confused about Hermione. I'm glad they did something unique with the hairpiece. (Is anyone able to tell if that's new, or it's from something else?) But it sure looks like her dress is a printed 1x2 brick with a 1x2 plate for her feet. Fleur has a dress piece and Hermione is by far the more important character in this scene... The Horntail. Yeah, it's weird. I'll definitely be buying the set for the minifigures, but the builds will be parted out. The Knight Bus is almost too sleek. And, as mentioned before, the windows should be wider, not taller. It seems weird they would introduce this new window mold (at least I haven't seen it before) when it's not accurate to the source material, or when there are plenty of existing windows that would work better. For example, sideways 1x2x3 windows would have been great. I'll still be buying all the sets for sure. Can't wait to see the interiors!

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I've got good news for the Americans - I just returned from my local Barnes and Noble and spoke to the manager regarding the Bricktober pack. He confirmed for me that it IS a gift with purchase for purchases over $75 starting November 17th. It would appear that any prior sales were either not supposed to happen, or some sort of "test" to see how high they price point could be for the free gift.

Ah, I see them now. Still, these will make for a great Chamber of Secrets MOC I imagine. I just want a new Lockhart so bad hahaha

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I managed to find all 22 Collectible Minifigures at my local Target in Minnesota. I think it's worth noting to others that are hunting that these were hidden away at the front of the store a 4 registers next to all the candy and gum and such. I never would have found them if I hadn't asked! I was almost starting to doubt the existence of the devil's snare on the D2C Hogwarts, but there's a picture on Instagram of all the parts of the castle dumped in a pile, and you can clearly make out two vine pieces (Bionicle appendage in dark green) - one in the middle and one on the left, so it definitely exists! Also, is the snake mold in silver in the Chamber of Secrets, the 4 statues on the side, that is, a new mold? I find this an odd choice as there aren't many new molds in this set. I know a Chamber of Secrets isn't likely at this point, but I'm guessing LEGO intends to use that snake mold for something. Or maybe it's old and I don't know what I'm talking about.
