Hey, you've got a fine-looking MOC on your hands there! Like Moppo, the Havoc's been on my build list for a loooong time.... but it's "curvy pancake" intricacy has always scared me away. Overall, I think you did an excellent job of capturing the subtleties of the shaping here- and still managed to get a spacious interior! The usage of that Hero Factory cockpit piece is absolutely spot-on. I would like to see the cannons and rear fins (?) extended to better match the source material though. Moreover, lengthening those would add some visual interest by breaking up the rectangular profile of the ship. Good job!

Now that's how you build an AT-ST! I really enjoy the build, the head is a fantastic addition to the legs. If I had one complaint, it would be the scale of the AT-ST in comparison to the minifigures. But you worked off of the set scale, so I can't really criticize you for working within those constraints. Overall, an awesome MOC!

Another great review! I appreciate how thorough you are with all of your reviews. I'd been holding off on buying either of these sets, but after reading your review I'm inclined to snag the Royal Talon Fighter. Thanks!- 12 replies

That Imperial disguise Han Solo looks way crisp. I'm excited to get it. A big shame though for me is the lack of reusability (is that a word?) in the figure. The torso and leg prints are absolutely gorgeous, but not very useful for MOCs. I can't have all my armored Imperial officers chilling with dirty/rusted armor, y'know?

For what my voice is worth, I bought a recent copy of the speeder BP and it contained the TLJ stormtroopers. No video as proof tho. -
Bought the First Order speeder BP on a whim to see if it would have the TLJ stormtrooper helmets. It did :)

Hmmm the Han Solo sets are looking mighty interesting. Thoughts: - Re: Death Star Trooper-ish figure: Looks like it's got an Imperial ground crew torso? Also the helmet looks a little smaller than the Navy Trooper mold. At first glance it actually looks like the Lego samurai helmet...hope I'm wrong. - Range troopers looking a little weird, but I'll wait and see the movie/other promotional materials before passing judgment. - Imperial officer in a BP? I don't care what rank he is, I'll take him! - Overall the set builds look nice. TIE is incredible, speeders look pretty sleek and will at least be parts packs, MF looking decent but a little phoned in. - The figures in the TIE set look really promising, can't wait to see the high res photos. - People are calling out Moloch as a Pyke... at first glance he strikes me as a Melitto (Sarco Plank). But we'll see. -
What do you think of the builds in that set?

75188 Resistance Bomber. Worth it.
