I know i'm late to the thread but what a great set...the only thing that really bothered me was the unnumbered bags, but i guess it's kinda nostalgic to have to sort pieces again. as for the tilt issue, i definitely reccommend doing the extra tilt mod the designer posted on his youtube channel ("JKbrickworks"). its a massive improvment, makes the tilt equal in all directions. also there are some crazy mocs on there to check out.

Wow those are all pretty expensive so I assume you've got a lot of cash or points ready...anyway I chose the UCS Slave I over the UCS TIe Fighter (ended up getting that later) and I have to say it's really impressive. Looks great on display, has pop out weapon functions (most UCS sets have no play functions), and a perfect Boba Fett minifig. It's far better than any previous minifig scale slave I models. I also have 2/4 of the modulars on your list (Palace Cinema and Parisian restaurant). The cinema was the first modular I got and it's pretty nice and has some interesting pieces (red baseplate !). The restaurant is definitely smaller but the shape and build is very unusual. I won a mini cooper in a raffle a while ago and it's rather small but very detailed. So that's my take on some of these items on your list. as for purchase order, I would grab the palace cinema first since it's the oldest on the list (came out May 2013). Then maybe go for the UCS slave I since star wars sets are discontinued rather quickly nowadays. I tried looking for a UCS Red FIve X Wing a few months ago and couldn't get one so don't make the same mistake. The parisian restaurant could also be gone soon but for the rest I thik you've got a little time before they start going oop.

Yes the rising set prices are definitely a concern. especially for licensed themes. This year has been ok for me thus far...the Civil War sets were pretty good and the 21305 IDEAS Maze is incredible (maybe best set of the year imo)

wow that's cool. I have a light brick from the old 8894 Piraka Stronghold that's pretty cool but never knew there was a sound brick. would probably program one to play The Avengers Theme behind my Super Heroes minifgs.

Cool thx for the feedback...that portal beast gear function in the sanctum sanctorum looks awesome. looking forward to the build. would love to get my hands on that MCU spider man minifig at some point though

A new UCS Snowspeeder would be awesome...I always wanted the old one and they are insanely expensive now

Getting the 75154 TIE Striker for sure...usually end up collecting whatever new TIE vehicle is out. However these sets are really getting expensive (I noticed this trend especially with the Ep VII line). Maybe will wait on sales/coupons for the others.

Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum (76060) or Tanker Truck Takedown (76067). Both are $30 and each appear to be in high demand. Will probably end up getting both but which should I get first?

Lego themes that we would like to happen
jmc0208 replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Back To The Future should be definitely be picked up as a full theme. I got the CUUSOO/IDEAS set immediatly and continue to love it. Also maybe Star Trek wouldn't be a bad idea but the licensing is probably expensive plus new molds, pieces, etc. wouldn't expect to see that anytime soon but it's fun to think about it.- 451 replies

Exo-Force was always a favorite...would still love to get the Sentai Fortress and Striking Venom sets that are long out of print. I also really liked Mars Mission and Vikings. That Vikings set with the ship and sea serpent was awesome. Having all 3 of these back instead of Ninjago, Chima, Nexo Knights (don't like any of those) would be great

It's really a shame that it's over AGAIN. I remember how annoyed I was when they first canceled Bionicle back in 2010 and now I feel even worse. These new ones where pretty good (I liked the 2015 wave much more than the 2016 one) but I think the use of CCBS instead of the old Technic pins held them back from being even better than the old models. Honestly I'm running out room for these though so maybe it's good there won't be any new releases...just bought an old 8943 Axalara T9 and it took up a whole shelf lol. some cool ideas posted above but unfortunately I can't really see a third revival coming anytime soon. oh well

Hello all....first post picked up a used but 100% intact 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter from local used toy store for $10. They often have vintage SW sets...have previously gotten 6011 Imperial Star Destroyer and 7697 Republic Fighter Tank for well under ebay or bricklink prices there.
