    [LDD MOC] Piaggio Ape

Haha, great minds think alike! I also created a Piaggio Apé based on the "Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas", set 76026 when the first pictures hit the web well over a year ago. I love Piaggio's, I live in Amsterdam and there's plenty of them over here. I made a couple variations and built some for real, like this one: https://www.flickr.c...os/tags/piaggio and I built a hotdog car as well as a Surfboard transporter. I should photograph these I guess! For the Pizza delivery van I also created instructions using Bricksmith, LPub and Photoshop, a very tiring and time-consuming process.. I gave the bricks and printed instructions (A5) in a small box with custom art as a birthday-present to a friend of my 5-year old son, as a testcase. Results of the test: way too expensive and time-consuming! Here's the instructions: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5xxne5m7yv3q3lp/A5%20LEGO%20MoC%20Piaggio%20Pizza%20Delivery%20edition.pdf?dl=0 And the variations: Here's the LXF: https://www.dropbox....rsions.lxf?dl=0 LEGO's available colors of the doors, roof and mudguards are limited.. I also have an LXF for the Pizzeria that can be seen on flickr, if anyone's interested.
  2. Hi, thanks Kristel for this clear and extensive Lpub guide. For Bricksmith users I can add that it's easy to have your step rotations entered there. I wondered if, when having altered a model in LCad (or other building software), can you update this in an already created Lpub guide ans iterate from there, or do you have to generate the instructions from the ground up? And is there a way to sort the BoM by color (and size)? And is the order of parts in LCad (or Bricksmith and the likes) of influence in Lpub? I've also seen code somewhere to create transparent backgrounds, I wonder if these come through in PNG exports. I'll try. I'll be doing most of the layout in Photoshop, Lpub's layout options (and drag-and-drop quirkiness) drives me crazy.
