I've updated my Lego proposal for this MOC The original had a poor photo at the front and all the updates and extra vehicles came after the original design. So I thought I'd give it one more try, so if you think it's worth it take a look https://ideas.lego.com/projects/114459

My Batmobile MOC I've created a Lego Ideas 1966 TV Batmobile including Bat Boat,Trailer and Batcopter. I came up with the idea of creating the Batmobile when I was looking for something to create using Lego Creator software, being a fan of the show I happen to have a diecast model of the Batmobile on my shelf. It is such an iconic TV vehicle probably the first non human TV star. The bricks that made the Batmobile work for me where the wheel arches, the arches in the centre of the car, the rear slopes and the nose brick at the front. The nose brick was particularly difficult to find in black, I eventually found it in a promotional Lego bag for Shell. I had no idea how popular batmobile MOC's were since I've only got back into Lego about 6 months ago. I later added the Bat Boat and trailer. I've also designed the Batcopter although that is just a computer design at the moment. I came up with this: Any comments much appreciated. MOC Bat-All Terrain Vehicle This is my latest MOC, a cross between a 66' Batmobile and a Tank. I was trying to think of a way to incorporate tracks with suspension that I had designed. I looked at the 66' Batmobile I had built and thought that would be an interesting project. The tracked suspension is full independent on both sides and works great. I've added all sorts of launchers and equipment, so now the villains of Gotham City have no where to hide. The storyline for the existence of the vehicle goes thus: “It’s 1968 and Bruce Wayne decides that he needs an extra vehicle to help control the villains of Gotham City. He contacts his friends at Gotham City Engineering and asks them to build him a new vehicle loosely based on the 1966 Batmobile but a major feature has to be its all-terrain capabilities.” Let me know what you think. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87749

Thanks everyone for your comments much appreciated. The cannon/gun on the front was originally a flame thrower, but I thought that was overly violent so it is now a water cannon. There are more pictures on the lego ideas website and brickshelf.

Have now tried this mod. One small improvement to hold the legs in the body I've cut 2 pieces of Lego pneumatic tubing and slid it over the ends that go into the body, the legs now stay put.

Brilliant, this gives the minifigures a better look. It's great that you have only used Lego standard parts too. With the standard Lego arms they match human proportions with your legs also. Well done.

Thanks B Rick, I perhaps rushed my proposal on ideas, I original modified the canopies with a bandsaw which is not allowed in the rules for lego ideas, so I picked what I thought was the only solution. After much thought and computer design I think I've found a better visual representation of the classic 66' Batmobile. I hope you succeed in getting Lego to bring your Batmobile to the shops.

Thanks, it does take me a while, to get to the final design. The thing that was limiting the Batmobile design in Lego was the windscreens, not being able to modify Lego parts to comply with the Lego ideas rules made this a problem. I finally found what I think is the best use of original Lego parts but in a non standard way for the windscreens. I'm glad you like the result and thanks for the comment.

It's in the batcopter next to batman, if you go to the Lego Ideas website https://ideas.lego.com/projects/70489 Look under the updates tab and there's a picture of the famous shark scene using my batcopter. I had to do it, it's just brings back fun memories of this great show.

I've just got back into Lego after many years, I find it very relaxing, apart from when you stand on it. I've created a Lego Ideas 66 TV Batmobile including Bat Boat and Trailer.
